Just stopped here for my first time and this place is already worth 5 stars. I had an iced caramel latte which was great, I just a wish I'd had enough cash to try the breakfast sandwich because the pics on here look delicious! The cafe is very small and located in a large parking lot. Don't let the size or the long line fool you. This staff is organized and ready to roll. They send the girls outside to take orders while people wait so your drink is usually waiting for you at the window. The girls are also very sweet and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there (unlike the Starbucks by my house). I had always heard great things about them and glad I finally got to try it out. Will definitely stop here when I'm in the area!

A single non franchised boutique coffee stand located on Barataria Blvd in Marrero. Was once a Fox photo stand many moons ago. The coofee and servers are great. Im also a big fan of yoga pants and thanksfully , so are most of the staff :-) In the mornings, the busiest part of their day , when a vehicle line begins to form, a walking server will come out and take your orders to speed up the process. It indeed works. Very short waits for very good coffee!! I havent had the luxury of time to go inside, so I cant comment on that for now, but it looks cozy and inviting from my truck. When I do, I will update my review.

Amazing iced or frozen coffees!! Awesome breakfast croissants and burritos!! Love it! My breakfast stop!

These ladies make one hell of a latte. Super friendly! A buddy of mine ended up spilling our coffees in the car, and the staff gave us a replacement on the house.

If your in Marrero this is a great place to get coffee. Great atmosphere, friendly workers and all time good food and delicious coffee!

Not only do they serve the best iced lattes in the New Orleans area but I have recently discovered that they are a wonderful caterer! I have had them bring coffee and pastries and little boxed lunches for work meetings and they are always on time and have the order perfect. They make my work life easier by not ever having to stress. They are wonderful!

Loveeee J'aime Le Café! It's definitely a gem in the Westbank and definitely something you should try if you haven't already! To be honest, I'm kind of upset at myself for not coming here any sooner. Lol. The girls are always super sweet and super fast. They'll come to your window if the line is long and get your order started. Their specials are always yummy! And usually their special drinks are $1 off on larges and 50 cents off the smalls. Like today, I had a large "Satin Doll" which is white chocolate with vanilla bean. So good! I also got myself a egg and cheese croissant and all together it was $9.07. Delicious coffee, and affordable? Where has this been all of my life?! I use to be a such a Starbucks girl and seriously? It's completely disgusting to me now after trying J'aime Le Café. And I'm not even saying that because I'm good friends with one of the girls at works there. Totally my go-to coffee shop from now on!

Went here for lunch while attending a seminar at West Jefferson Medical Center. The food and coffee were delicious and everyone was so nice! Would definitely recommend!

Best little coffe shop on the Westbank and the prices are great. I got a large 20oz latte and a warm cross

Not good. I went with my fiancé one morning and we sat inside and when I ordered, I noticed the espresso machine's steam wand was completely caked in god knows how long a span of time's milk. Naturally, I didn't want anything to do with that nasty milk wand. So I ordered a straight espresso: the true test of how well a coffee shop knows how to make coffee. I sat down with my fiancé and I finally got to taste the espresso, and not even exaggerating here, I almost spat it out. It was the most burnt and bitter shot I've ever tasted. Even worse than Charbucks. Will not be going again.

So far, so good. Just got here and there was no line. The gals behind the counter are pkeasant. The coffee tastes good. I am waiting for my full breakfast.

I looooove this place even more than Starbucks! Their coffee is better than other places and the girls are always polite. If the lines become too long in the drive thru they always come to each car and ask for their order to speed things along. Never seen that before. I also have been inside and its a cute little setting. They have a bathroom as well even though the place is so small. They also have food there and some of it is nutritional like boiled eggs for $.75c or egg salad sandwich, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Neat little place!

I go here every now and again, and every time I leave happy. The prices are comparable, and everything tastes great. It just takes a bit of time to get your purchase. They do try to manage this by sending an employee out to take your order BEFORE waiting at the window.

LOVE!!! The staff is awesome! The coffee is AWESOME! The owner is AWESOME! When I leave town I miss this place more than home...yeah, I do. Even my dog gets excellent service here!(they give him a treat at the window) This is the only place I know where almond milk is an option. I've got to have my large king cake or wedding cake(I like cake, k) blended with almond milk!!! Follow them on Facebook to keep up with weekly specials/holiday hours! I also love their wraps!!!

It was my first time at this cafe, and I really enjoyed it. A really nice girl with long brown hair brought me my coffee and a breakfast special. Great quality coffee and a delicious, filling meal. Free wifi too! I'll definitely be back.

Great coffee and service. They have wonderful flavored ice coffees, I especially loved the chocolate. The location is convenient for me too.
(5)Rachel S.
GREAT coffee! Friendly service! Good pastries! Nice warm simple breakfasts! Lunch options also available. It's a small drive-thru or sit down cafe. Prices are amazing. We left happy & full. Great little stop!

My favorite coffee place. There is absolutely no other place that can compete with their level of costomer service and friendliness. They treat everyone like family. Coffee is delicious and prices are good too.

Love this place I had the club croissant and chips and club soda this place has a nice homie feel to it. I have been driving by this place for years and never realize they served food. Will be back again!
(5)Savannah B.
This place is ALWAYS packed! It's a great local coffee spot! However, there is always a line. It moves quick but never as quick as I think it will. Drinks are great!!

Awesome little coffee shop in my 'hood - Marrero! I've only gone through the drive-thru, on my way to work, but the interior looks very well decorated and inviting. I love, love, love the drive thru. They don't have a speaker where you place your order like Starbucks, you just drive up to the window. Since we all know that making specialty coffee drinks takes time, don't worry, if there is a line the baristas come outside to take your order. This way you aren't waiting 2-3 minutes for each order to be placed and made. It's a good system. The only flaw is that new customers in the drive thru have no idea what to order, as the menu board is on the side of the shop, right before the window. I did upload a photo of the menu for anyone wanting to try this place. They of course have the staples, like cafe, or cafe au lait, priced exceptionally low. Want espresso? They have lattes, cappuccinos, and more. The flavors aren't listed on the menu, but they of course have the usual caramel, vanilla, etc. I'm sure if you ask, the baristas will be able to help you out. They are super friendly. The prices on those drinks? It's comparable to other specialty coffee shops, especially if you leave a tip for the aforementioned super friendly baristas... but you leave with a delcious caffeinated beverage, a smile, and the heart-warming feeling that comes with knowing you supported a local business.

Every time I'm in the westbank area this is my go to go place for great tasting coffee! Friendly staff :)....I can't say much about their food because I haven't tasted it, but I'm sure it's good.

Excellent little place on the side of the road. Friendly service, big cups of coffee and tables outside for a nice day. I had the full breakfast with grits and a biscuit and was happy and FULL. Boyfriend had bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese and was happy. Price was right, all that for about $11!
(4)John D.
Am I the only one on here that remembers when this place used to be photo processing shop? On to the coffee though, definitely the best cup on the westbank that I've found so far.
(4)Salli P.
who doesn't love this place?! the prices are great for what you get and the girls are always nice =]
(5)Brandi C.
This little place is WONDERFUL. They have the best specialty drinks EVER!!!!!!!! Hot, iced, blended SUGAR FREE TOO! I have tried at least 10 of their specialty drinks and I just love them. Kudos to the owners and the employees for running a great business right here on the westbank!
(5)John M.
Great coffee, service and prices. Support locally owned!

Best damned coffee on the wank! Their breakfast (hot sandwiches) and lunch (salads, sandwiches, etc) is damned good too! The regular coffee is some of the best I've had in the city. Always fresh & hot. The baristas are knowledgeable, friendly, and have been the same for years. The fact that this place has such low turnover with employees speaks to the quality of food, beverage, service, and customer that frequent j'aime le cafe for the love of coffee! PJ's used to have good coffee... most of them leave the crap in the pots too long and if you arent' there at 7am, it's hit or miss. Another great spot in the city is a place called Velvet across from the Whole Foods on Magazine. If you're near there and love coffee, squeeze in (literally) and give it a taste. J'aime does it right and their baristas are second to none!
(5)Casey C.
I have to say that I wasn't expecting much when I ordered my coffee (Americano). But... everyone here is so friendly, and the coffee is some of the best I've ever had!!!!! The have food too.

You will NOT find a better place to grab a coffee, a yummy breakfast and get wonderful customer service from a super friendly team of baristas! They have the highest quality syrups and flavors, 100 times better than Starbucks! The sugar free (skinny) options are much better here too! Plus they have light breakfast options like english muffins with egg whites, oatmeal, etc. Drive thru if you want and don't let the line scare you away. . . the barista's are outside working the line and getting you in and out! The interior is sweet and cozy with Wi-Fi which you can't beat. Oh and did I mention the lunch sandwiches, salads and soups. . they are delicious and not your typical drive thru options. . . all home made and they also offer catering for business events, parties, etc! The menu is perfect with lots of options. . . I am a customer forever and will continue to support this great local business! :)

For the same price at Starbucks u can get a whole lot more coffee. The strength of the coffee is strong and absolutely not bitter. I love this place, it's in the middle of no where (like in the middle of a parking lot) But the staff and everything about it just makes it my favorite! Its a cute local shop I would totally visit again :)

Yummy and tasty espresso! This cafe used to be an hour photo shop kiosk. Now it's a locally owned and operated coffee shop. The espresso here is of the HIGHEST quality. It's bold, rich, and flavourful. Not like Starbucks which uses mediocre espresso beans. I think they use Lavazza espresso beans, straight from Italy. A great espresso is the basis for ALL great drinks. It's a huge deal to have premium quality espresso, especially for me. I try to support local businesses around here and even though Starbucks is down the street, this is just a better place to be. Post-Katrina this place has gotten some great business! They are open early during your work week. Lots of JPPD frequent this place. They also serve sandwiches and desserts.
