Been here dozens of times. Open all night so it's a plus with my late work schedule. You know what you get when you come and can always expect pretty much the same thing. My son loves this place. Only reason I give it 3 stars is because a few years ago I got food poisoning from the grilled chicken. Was NOT fun but after so time I have forgiven the place and eaten there again.

Best breakfast ever! Never had that much food for the price. Wish they had this place where i'm from!!!

Dot's is the classic diner style breakfast place. I've always had great service whether picking up or dining in. Very good breakfast anytime of the day. The inside could use a cleanup and update but that doesn't affect the quality of the food and service.

We enjoy Dot's as take-out! I'm not the biggest fan of the inside, but if you're all about that classic diner look, then this place is for you.

Jody and Niblett give great service. This place have the best club sandwich I have ever had. I met my fiancé here and as well as engaged to her here as well. Good place

Staying nearby while working in the area. Looked on yelp and seen Dots right here with good reviews. Well my experiance here was nothing like the great wonderful reviews this place seemed to have..We walked in around 6:05 and its was a sit yourself establishment like The Waffle House. So we sat there for about 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once the waitress came by and took our drink order it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Well about 5 minutes after that our waitress came over and started taking my order. While in the midddle of taking my order so guys from another table called her over, she dropped her pad on the table and walked over there while i was still talking. She didnt come back to our table for another 20 minutes. Now mind you thu s place was not that busy and there was employees standing around and running out to there vehicles. We were ready to get up and leave when another lady came by and helped us out. We were there for over an hour before we got our food with only one drink refill. The food was good but ive had better service at the DMV. Ok so heres a update i decided to go back to Dots and give it another try and everthing was excellent. The service was great and of course the food was good as was last time. Also the owner was spot on when he read my original review and quickly contacted me and corrected the situation. If im back in the area which i probably will be i will go back

Great little diner on the outskirts of New Orleans. The chilly cheese burger was really good. The workers all seem like real characters and were real friendly

A diner chain in Louisiana with reliably good diner food. My favorite is the healthy omelette, with toast. Basic and simple, but sometimes that is the best way.

Love the corned beef hash. Not the healthiest, but good for a treat. Small place - so expect a wait, but friendly staff. Come eat here when company is visiting. They have an online club and send coupons.

Nice little place located next to the Best Western Hotel I was staying at - friendly staff who go the distance to please you - I do not eat pork and the young lady who served me tried really hard to get a substitute dish for me, to make up for some bacon bits that were in a dish I ordered. Great hash browns and general breakfast fare - and I just love it when the cook, an elderly lady, shouts out "Order up!" whenever she's conjured up some more fabulous food for her customers! Great place - highly recommend it ...

Friendly staff and great diner food. Good home cooking anytime.

Breakfast all day. Bathrooms clean with soap and paper towels. Friendly staff. Soups just warm but everything else nice and hot. Plain, no frills diner interior. Good selection, good food. 3 stars only because it was a good average place but did not stand out. Would give 3 1/2 stars if it was possible.

Man, I want to love Dot's SO HARD but I just can't. My mom is straight-up In Love with this place, and so is my sister, and her guy.... they seriously go eat here constantly whenever sis is in town. Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything other than the bacon and orange juice which doesn't gross me out. In my experience: the little burgers are way overdone (and I like mine well done), the fries aren't great, the hash browns are greasy and mushy and blah, the eggs are meh, the waffles are undercooked and doughy, blueberries and strawberries on top are frozen-then-microwaved-and-slightly-hot... which isn't a sin in itself, but it's somehow gross and I didn't even want to finish the fruit. That says a lot because up until this point I hadn't met fruit I wouldn't eat. How do you mess up strawberries and blueberries?? I know it's a diner, and trust me-- I'm not judging this place against brunch with mimosas and crème brulee at Palace Café or anything. But greasy spoon should at least be so-good-in-a-so-bad-for-you kinda way, and so far Dot's has fallen short of the mark for me. I've been there several times and haven't once had a meal that made me go "yum!"... and I always smell like grease and yuck when I leave (insult to injury). I'm sure I'll end up going back because it starts feeling like rude and no-love turning down the constant invites from the family for breakfast, and hopefully one day I'll stumble upon the One Thing On The Menu that does it for me. Until then? I'll be headed down the road to IHOP if I have a choice in the matter. :)

Took kids there after a day of bball games, we were tired and hungry. The staff was welcoming and very personable. It was a busy night, the male cook got ALL of our orders perfect, which is rare in a "one cook" diner. Thanks, we will be coming back.

This was our first time at Dot's Diner but it will definitely NOT be our last! The food was amazing and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Dot's has great food atmosphere, great atmosphere, and makes you feel at home.

After leaving a poor review about 10 days ago I'd like to say my fiancé and I have made a return trip to Dots. One thing I've learned is that the best time to go is after the shift change, when night shift comes in. Jody and Niblett are the best. Our most recent visit was 100X better than the last one. Niblett is very consistent with the quality of food. He always remembers what we want to order, but always doubles checks first because he knows I change it up on a rare occasion. We always get a greeting from Jody and Niblett the minute we walk in. They make us feel very welcome, almost like we're having dinner at their homes. Jody is the best waitress ever. She's friendly, very attentive, and 100 % personable with all of costumers. Jody and Niblett were there when my fiancé proposed to me in Dot's (because Dot's is where we met). I'll never 100% give up on Dot's but I do believe the majority of my visits will be late at night with my soon to be husband and the best team ever: Jody and Niblett!
