This place sucks. I was stationed here from Germany and i can tell you this is definitely not authentic German cuisine. First off- the staff can't even pronounce the items on the menu correctly. The starter salad is pathetic, it's basically a plate of three pickled green beens and a sliver of lettuce. The schnitzel is not made with the correct breading and is very dry. The jagerschintzel's gravy tastes bland and as if it was made from a knorrs packet. But the thing that appalled me the most was the "doner kebab." Kebab is one of my favourite street foods to get in Germany and i consider myself quite the connoisseur. This was horrible.Kebabs not even that hard to make. I make it at home all the time. The "pita" was hard and cold and way too thick. It's suppose to be thin and crispy. The joghurtsosse "yogurt sauce" was sour cream. The actual meat was dry and tasted nothing like doner meat and they had the nerve to put just straight up raw cabbage in there without pickling it or even adding a little bit of oil and garlic. Are you serious? This is offensive to anyone who has had authentic german food.

loved it :) it is not fast food so if you're in a real big hurry I wouldn't recommend it but it's worth the wait:) I have tried a few things and loved them all . it's a long drive for me or I'd be there much more often . I lived in Germany many years so I know what it's supposed to taste like and they really hit the mark :) I also love the German deli next door . highly recommend both .:)

Its okay. Its not authentic. But when your craving german food its not that bad. I love the salad.

Friends and I went to this place during our training at Ft. Polk. Heard from the rumint this was the place to go for Schnitzels. Summary: We all ordered Schnitzels in one form or another (Jaeger - mushroom sauce). It was pretty decent. The place is quaint and small. The owner (I assume), she came out and met us at our table. She's very friendly. We all were in Germany some time in our lives, so we had a mutual conversation that encompassed food and experience. The service was good. It's a little over the average on price of what I would spend in a town like Leesville. But it was good, and I like supporting the local economy.

If you are looking for something a little different, this place is great! I didn't like everything served, but it was not because the food wasn't good. It's because this wasn't what I was expecting. You aren't going to get the same old catfish and hamburger steaks that seem to be available at every other restaurant in the area. My husband and I both had schnitzels and they were delicious. We were served a German salad, which I did not care for. I ordered spaetzle, which was a bland sort of noodle. However, there were other selections available and my husband enjoyed his potatoes. This was a little pricey, so we won't be able to visit very often. the atmosphere was interesting. There was a large screen TV playing German programs. The owner and friends had a table nearby and greeted each customer. Very friendly.

I love this place. If you're looking for authentic german food, this is it. Pomme frites with curry ketchup and mayo, yes please!! They serve a traditional German mix salad with every meal. I can't get enough!! I was pleasantly surprised, I come from a town with a large German population and this was the best german I've had since being in Germany! The atmosphere isn't really anything to write home about, but if you're looking for delicious food, this is it!!
