This place is amazing. Great food & great ambiance. I tried both hibachi and their sushi bar food and was pleased with the price, portion and taste. All the workers are super friendly and courteous. My sushi chef, Eray was extremely knowledgeable and I had a great time there. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the La Fayette area.

Really solid sushi, good flavor. I've eaten sushi at places right off the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, and this place is nearly just as good. I love the TNT roll and the calamari fries

Went today for lunch. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes and not one waiter or waitress acknowledged I was even there. This is the second time I've witnessed this type of terrible service at this restaurant and will never go back!!

Ate here for lunch today and we were very pleased with our rolls. I had the TNT roll with seaweed wrap instead of soy and I was floored. I love the crunch of the jalapeño inside. It may be the best cooked roll I have ever eaten. My fiance ordered the torched scallop roll and he loved it. Another delocious roll ia the lafayette, we didnt get it today but i have in the past (you wont regret) I also recommend trying the egg rolls because the sweet and sour sauce is to die for.

We were told it would be a 5-10 minute wait when they weren't busy. It's now 45 minutes later and we were told another 5-10 minutes. If I wasn't really hungry and set on eating hibachi, I would've left a while ago. I'll post an update on the food later. (Note: I'm not upset about the wait time, I'm annoyed they continuously changed the time when no new customers even came in. I would've gone to their bar a long time ago.) One star right now. ....15 minutes later we got a table. Made friends with the bartender! Ordered edamame & it was EXTREMELY salty but that's how I like it! Okay, I'll give it two stars. .....2 hours since we walked in the door. Still no sign of a chef anywhere on sight. No update on the sushi roll we ordered an hour ago either. Back to one star. These drinks are no where near strong enough for this. ...15 more minutes later. Chef has arrived! Waitress and sushi still MIA. ...15 more minutes later. After asking three different people, we get our sushi roll. Not as described and will not be eating it. At least our chef is kind of entertaining? ... Last update. Scallops were burnt and rubbery, small portion of rice, 4 drinks in and I don't feel a thing (I'm a 95lbs lightweight). So yeah, NEVER AGAIN. THREE HOURS LATER and we're finally leaving. So much for having any other plans tonight. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I eat sushi quite a bit. I love sushi. I eat it fresh from fancy restaurants as well as the stuff from the supermarket. It's possible they were having a bad day, but my sushi was absolutely terrible here. I ordered two different roles, and neither of mine were good. I tried some of my friend's and I didn't like his either. They were just... tasteless, and the rice tasted old or low quality. I couldn't even make it into a decent meal by drowning it in sauce. The best part of my meal was eating the ginger that came on my plate. In addition to the poor food, it took FOREVER for our food to arrive. We waited at least an hour after ordering before our food started to arrive, and it all arrived at different times. I honestly tried really hard for an excuse to give this place 2 stars, but there was really nothing good about the experience.

Worst Japanese food I have ever eaten!!!!! We had the scallop hibachi, steak and chicken hibachi, which comes with soup (the soup was the best part of the entire meal), salad and fried rice. We also had the eel roll and shrimp tempura roll with egg rolls as an appetizer. The theme of everything seemed to be tasteless. First off, the egg rolls. I make better egg rolls at home. All you taste is the cabbage, minimal meat and blandness. The salad was a basic salad with thousand island dressing, meh, a little below average for a restaurant. The hibachi was also tasteless. The only positive I have to say about it is at least the meat wasn't chewy. Seasoning was extremely minimal. The vegetables were too undercooked. The fried rice was tasteless. The sushi was HORRIBLE! Worst sushi I have had in my life!!! I sent it back and refused to pay for it. I made better sushi at home on my first try. It was falling apart, looked like the person who rolled it had never done it before. The entire roll was also tasteless. All I tasted in either roll was the bland rice that wasn't properly made. The eel was very minimal so it's no wonder why I couldn't taste it and in the shrimp tempura roll, the tempura shrimp tasted horrible. I don't know how this place is still open. Oh and this horrible meal ended up coming out to over 40 bucks. I came home with most of my hibachi cause I couldn't stomach eating that horrible food and had to make myself something to eat! WE WILL NOT BE BACK!! Save your tastebuds and pick one of the many good sushi places elsewhere in Lafayette.

The best Hibachi place in town The food is always so great and fresh. The staff is very friendly The hibachi chefs put on a great show the interact with the gust well especially making sure kids get involved, Make sure if you call for reservations you talk to a person do not leave a message on the machine they get very busy and don't always check their machine. If you like sushi I recommend the Lafayette Roll it is so good

Very unimpressed, the rice was sweet but bland and the prices were high for the amount of food they served. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Red Snapper Ponzu - You must try this! Sooooooo good & its topped with sriracha, my fav!! Tsubaki Soup - Umm.. I had one mushroom in my soup, more please! Party Roll - This roll was prepared for us from the Chef and it's not on the menu. It was THE BEST roll here! Request this roll - It's a must try! Fire Cracker Roll - Deliciousness all wrapped in one roll! Beef Tataki - Loveddddd it!

I went here and tried the hibachi. I seriously had something to complain about every step of the meal. Even before being seated. My reservation was for 6:30. There was another reservation made for 6:30 as well for the whomever was sitting wit us at the grill. They were 20 min late and we couldn't be seated until they arrived. Then once seated. The space at the table was ridiculous. It was so cramped. The place was loud. By the time we sat I was starving. The waiter came around and asked for appetizer orders. Every hibachi meal comes with a soup and salad and I assumed if I didn't order an appetizer my soup or salad would be served. Wrong. The other party that sat with us ordered appetizers. We didn't get our soup until they received their appetizers and finish eating it! The hibachi itself wasn't great. The rice was hard and bland. No flavor whatsoever. I order the shrimp and chicken and I didn't finish it. No flavor! I would never go back here again.
