Coming all the way from the West Coast, this was my first stop coming from the airport. I have always liked chicken tenders/strips but I've never tasted any as good as these ones. The prices seem a bit expensive, but the food is super filling! A couple little things I'm not a fan of: - All the salt in the food + ordering lemonade swells up my lips. It's never happened to me before getting that combo here - Just a personal preference, but the Texas Toast was a let down to me. It was highly recommended, but I'd rather replace the toast with more fries But definitely would come back!

Great place to load up on Sweet Tea after ULL games. It's a clean location, with good service. If you're looking for chicken tenders, there's no better spot in town than this!

Speaking for Raising Canes in general, most of us know how delicious their food is and although the menu isnt very diverse, it is more than satisfying. This particular Canes has everything your normal franchise would but lacks in a few areas where most others don't. Starting with the most bothersome, the parking. Parking here is very tight and the drive thru line runs directly through the center of the lot, which means if the place is busy you will most definitely be blocked in until the drive thru line dies down. Second the service. Usually pretty good for most others, here everyone seemed flustered but that was probably due to the lunch rush. Lastly was the cleanliness, don't think that this place is dirty because its not, but we did have trouble finding a table that didn't have crumbs and sauce on the top meaning that they hadn't wiped them down recently. Despite all of this, you can't help but love eating at Canes. Its so delish and usually a good price for the food you get. It may not be the best Canes around but it won't fall short in the food area.

Not much to say about Cane's, except that their service and food are always top-notch. I don't go here as often as I used to, but every time I have gone, I've had no complaints. Of course, I really wish they would serve more fries on the side considering how good their fries are, but you can't always get what you want. :)

Love it. Especially love the sauce. For those who don't like coleslaw, you can ask to exchange it for something else.

Great service always! And the sauce is awesome

This is a "Do one thing and do it well" kind of restaurant. They serve chicken fingers and sides (cole slaw, buttered toast, fries and sauce). The chicken fingers are some of the best I've ever had and the dipping sauce is excellent. This location is near UL of L Cajun Field and the wall hangings reflect this, with lots of pictures of SLI (an earlier name for UL of L) campus life. The staff is pretty friendly and well trained and the atmosphere is relaxed. The meals run about $10 dollars a person.

After a driving tour of Lafayette, it was time for a late lunch. I wanted to try one of the local favs., so the cousin took me to Raising Cane's for chicken fingers and iced tea. Easily some of the best chicken fingers I've ever had. It was moist and tender with the right amount of crisp to them. It wasn't too soggy from an excessive amount of oil. They were little fingers of heaven. I also have to give them props for their iced tea. It was delicious!! Sweet, but not too sweet. Just what I needed to rehydrate from being in 100 degree heat and humidity. The meal also came with toast and coleslaw. The coleslaw was forgettable, but the piece of toast was delightful! I guess 3 out of 4 on point items is pretty damn good. Can't have it all...gotta leave some room for the little dogs to compete, pun intended.

I'm still upset that this company moved it's headquarters from Louisiana to Paris, Texas. But with that said I still love this place and wish I was back home to have it.

The only reason to go to Cane's is sweet tea and toast. It is open late which is good after a night out, but I never go during the day. I don't ever get chicken when I go. Its usually dry and bland unless you dunk it it their special "cane's sauce." I will take chick-fil-a over cane's any day

The chicken fingers from this place are so good. Always hot, never cold or mushy. The garlic toast is good too. I can do without the crinkle fries. But the sweet tea is a must have
