I love the crawfish the sizes are a mixture, they even rinse the extra seasoning if you like and the flavor are still bold yum yum good.

I love the crawfish here! Extra spicy is the my favorite way to have my crawfish boiled. They do a great job here. If I lived here this would be at least a once or twice a week visit. Had 5 pounds yesterday and 3 pounds today. Next time I think I will get a link of their sausage as an extra.

Not as good as a backyard boil, but the prices are reasonable considering the crawfish season we are having. Fast service, even has a drive through! Holes in the table for the shells which is a favorite of any child. Definitely recommended if you have a craving for decent crawfish and HUGE oysters!

Nice size crawfish and shrimp. But very salty.. I would like my flavors to be inside the crawfish not outside.. My crawfish and shrimp was over cooked.. To the point where the tail would break.. Although the char-boiled oysters were decent. But over priced. My first and probably my last. Hold that thought.. Going take my high blood pressure meds.

YUM! Boiled crabs and shrimp were YUMMY! Was a bit dissapointed in my daughters "pasta salad" which contained lettuce, but our server made it better by taking the dish back. I am NOT a fan of seasonings on the outside of my boiled seafood (not excessivly, but they do).

Wow! When you pull into the full parking lot and there's 12 cars in the drive through, you know you've found a 5-Star treat. Awesome crawfish, excellent service and I suggest you try the Canebrake beer, a Louisiana brewed favorite.

This place is a world in itself. Eating here on a recent Sunday, the parking lot was jammed, the drive-up lane was way long, and the queue for tables was impossible, so I got carry-out for a premium in the bar, and here is the benefit: the crawfish are big, they are steamy hot, they are delicious, nice spice - - it is top shelf, and it is classic. The loss of star is kind of curious: sucking the heads is totally flavorless. GREAT tails, great size - - a great experience, otherwise.

Small crawfish this time of year but very tasty. Delicious jumbo shrimp and very plump, salty oysters on the half shell. Trash cans in the middle of the table for easy waste disposal. Brown paper towels on the table along with ketchup, Cajun Power, Tabasco and Worcestershire Sauce. Two free standing hand sinks in the dining room for convenient hand washing and friendly waitstaff make for a tasty meal.

"I want to pay someone to serve me bugs." ...sounds like a ridiculous idea, but it happens every single day in Louisiana from January to June, and sometimes beyond. I'm talking about crawfish, and if you're in the know, then you know. Crawfish are an amazingly weird and delicious delicacy, and you will pay a pretty penny for the experience just about anywhere you visit, so you may as well go somewhere good for your buck, and Louisiana Crawfish Time in Lafayette is just that place. The business is very well run, family orientated and very respectable. The restaurant is cleaner than other places that don't serve bugs, and the ambiance is the perfect juxtaposition of class and old fashioned cajun/creole heritage. There's a drive thru that's always packed (for a reason), and the dining area inside is quite nice and well decorated. The functional built in crawfish disposal tables as well as the special hands free wash area (a must for crawfish eating, in my opinion) are excellent touches. I've only dined in, and the service was great each and every time. I've never driven thru, but I've heard the experience is just as pleasurable. What some people don't understand is that crawfish aren't an exact science. They are somewhat seasonal, even while in season, if that makes sense. Sometimes you get a batch that aren't as big as they were last week or vice versa. Your crawfish will ALWAYS be different each time you order, and hey, sometimes businesses even run out of crawfish. You just have to deal with it. As a crawfish restaurant business owner, the only thing you can do is maintain and try to make the experience as good as you can each day, as each day may come with a different challenge. The owner of Louisiana Crawfish Time does this seamlessly, and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Some of my own personal highlights of Louisiana Crawfish Time include the superb side/inclusionary items they offer. The sausage links are some of the best I've ever eaten, and I grew up in Louisiana. The boiled mushrooms are off the charts good, and the corn and potatoes are among the juiciest I've had, coupled with crawfish. If you aren't into crawfish for whatever ungodly reason, then you'll be pleased with the huge shrimp they serve up as an alternative. And oh, my, God, if you like oysters, they have the some charbroiled oysters here that were so good they made me question reality and existence, itself. All in all, Louisiana Crawfish Time is easily the best and most consistent restaurant I've ever eaten crawfish at. I've had a single crawfish claw here that was as big as the biggest whole crawfish at other places. Just saying. And obviously, nothing beats an old fashioned home boil with friends and family, but nine times out of ten, you aren't going to do that; just pack the family into a caravan and head over to Louisiana Crawfish Time and you will not be disappointed. Trust me, I know cajun food and crawfish, my last name is "Duplechien".

Passing through town with the family on a vacation trip to Florida. We drove around looking for a unique looking place to grab some food. What's more unique than getting cooked crawfish? I've never had crawfish before so I don't have anything honestly to compare it to. I thought it was good after getting over the crunchy twisting of the crustaceans. They were spicy and tasty all wrapped into one. I would recommend this place to a friend if I lived close by. The staff was friendly talking with us about the local area and keeping our little three year old occupied. Thanks for a great night from a few weary travelers!

Is it possible to eat here and enjoy the experience without ordering Crawfish? Well, yes. We visit family in Lafayette annually and usually end up here for dinner. I can take crawfish or leave them, ditto for my spouse, but my sister-in-law and her husband are big fans. We order the oysters, which are always fresh and just great and then share a shrimp boil - also fresh and nicely done. We get our taste of crawfish by poaching from our hosts' platter and they are great, also. I like the functional décor and cleanliness of the dining room. The functionality stretches to the tables with the hole in the middle for refuse. Just toss your shells and empty bottles into the hole. Another smart feature is the trough outside the restrooms for washing your hands free of spices after struggling with your plate of mudbugs. Nothing like this in Wisconsin! The wait-staff is friendly and the place is usually full of serious local crawfish devotees. This is an experience not to be missed.

I was staying in Lafayette for the weekend. I came for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish festival. My crawfish appetite was not satisfied at the festival. I came here to get some real crawfish. I Was definitely not disappointed. The crawfish was big and flavorful. The best that I've had all year. Im from Houston but Louisiana is the cajun country. I just didnt like the Savoies sausage that they serve. Our waitress was awesome too. I will definitely visit again whenever I come to Lafayette.

Crawfish Time is a GREAT place to eat crawfish. The crawfish is always big, fresh, and well-seasoned. I normally get regular and it seems as if they control their spice levels mostly by seasoning them after they've been cooked. This is good, but ideally, crawfish are best when they are seasoned in the water they are boiling in. Still though, great food!
