Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Been here in the past and pizza has always been good! We got the garlic cheese bread which was very light and not over filling. Then we had the pizza du Monde. It was tasty with good flavors. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the crust. I like a thicker crust and the traditional crust is a thin and crispy crust. It was good just not my fav crust! Overall a great pizza place!

The restaurant had a cozy cafe feel and great service, however, the food was severely lacking and didn't provide value. The majority of the food was premade and the menu showed a lack of understanding flavor combinations. I started my meal with a Caesar salad and the cheese bread appetizer. The salads come with different ingredients depending on which portion size you select. I found this off putting as I would have liked to be able to have the option of a fully dressed salad and also not feel too full for my entree. The dressing was abysmal and flavorless. The croutons were store-bought and scant. The marinara sauce that came with the cheese bread appetizer was also bland. The plate was garnished with the typical parsley flake presentation that seems so prevalent in restaurants. I decided to order a pizza since the restaurant's namesake suggested that it would be a good place for ordering one. The specialty pizza listing seemed...off. The cheeses did not compliment the topping choices and some of the topping choices did not meet the theme of the of what the name of the pizza suggested. I ended up getting the Pizza du Monde, which ended up being a pretty generic Supreme pizza. Overall, this restaurant is one to pass up. There is nothing imaginative or interesting in the food. It would be easier on your tastebuds and your wallet to just order Domino's. At least then you will be expecting prepackaged food.

I've tried to like this place. It's ok at best, the food is forgettable, the place smells weird, and the staff seems preoccupied with other things than serving the customers. I will say the Saturday night entertainment (live music) in the summer is fun and inviting.

This is a great local restaurant that has been around for awhile now. They have great pizza's and salads. Also a must try is the spinach and artichoke dip, it is sooo delicious!!! Although I heard they have new owners, on my most recent trip the spinach dip tasted different but still good. I think they may have added bacon but I thought it was great the way it was. If it is a nice day I recommend sitting outside for sure! Also on Friday and Saturday nights they have a guy that plays his guitar and sings on the patio. He is pretty good and makes it a fun evening.

I have tried La Pizzeria multiple times and every time it gets worse. The staff isn't great and the restaurant always smells awful. The last time I was there, my drink tasted like dish soap. The pizzas are usually pretty good. But since everything else is always so bad, I'll probably never go back.

Reviews read are all over the place? A delightful Tuesday evening experience for me. Food AS good as most I experienced in Southern California. I had nothing to complain about. Small dinner salad was loaded with broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc., could have used some peppers. Spaghetti and Meatballs exceeded my expectations based on previous reviews. Now a favorite of mine. Maybe an off night but close to perfection.

My sister and I had a late lunch here on a Saturday. We decided on outdoor dinning which was nice because it was a beautiful day. I did briefly step inside and there wasn't much of a crowd, so we apparently missed the 'lunch rush'. We had a couple of Bellinis, the hummus appetizer, and the Pizza Du Monde (added black olives). The Bellinis were good and the hummus appetizer was awesome--I would definitely re-order it next time. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but the crust was thin and crisp, they went light on the sauce, the flavors were on point, and I did find it very tasty. I read some of the other reviews and surprisingly their complaints were about the service--our waitress was nice, attentive, and all of the wait staff seemed friendly enough. Maybe I went on a good day? I had a very good dining experience there.

The has always been one of my favorite places to eat. The salads are always fresh and the calzones are amazing. I hope the new owners keep it up. I will say, I agree with others. The service was mediocre at best. But since I love the food....5 stars!

I eat here at least once a week for lunch, and I have never had a bad meal from LaPizzaria. I highly recommend the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. It's a great deal and comes with amazing waffle fries. The Grilled Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad is the absolute best item on the menu. It is not your everyday salad! I recommend splitting it between two people, unless you have a hearty appetite. The portions are HUGE and are worth every penny. They recently changed ownership and I am very pleased with the changes made by the new owners. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

La Pizzeria has always been one of my favorite restaurants to visit, especially when the pizza craving strikes. With the new owners, I'm happy to see that the menus have become more updated and streamlined. However, I've noticed the spinach and artichoke dip is not the same as it usually is. Still, I'd recommend this place to anyone. And if you're stuck on making a decision, get my favorite: the crab amore.

Service is horrible, but the food is worse. Terribly over-priced for frozen pizza quality. Our server informed us that the angus beef burger patties are actually frozen!! Run from this place!

If you were born in and never left the deep south you can live with their pizza, but if you grew up on the East Coast, West Coast or Chicago you're going to hate it. There is great food in Lafayette, so there's no reason to waste your time and money here.

I went to La Pizzeria today, and I've been many times before. The food is consistently good, the wait staff is always friendly, and the wait is never long. I highly recommend the Pizza Du Monde, a grest combination of meats and vegetables.

almost always get their low carb pizza...it is delicious. I never knew that I like eggplant till I had this pizza. the sour cream dill sauce that comes with it is wonderful.

This is not a restaurant for people who want to go to pizza hut. This is fine dining and great food.

This is a favorite spot for lunch among my family. The pizzas and calzones are quite good, and I also enjoy the French onion soup and side Caesar salad. However, my absolutely favorite dish is the Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad. It is HUGE and delicious. I have to make myself stop eating it halfway through so I don't inhale too many calories. (The other half makes for a good lunch the next day.) Service is always decent, but it can get pretty busy at high noon. It's also nice to sit outside on pretty days.

I went with a group of friends last week, and we split an 88 dollar total. The next day I found that I was charged 88 dollars and 44 dollars. I've called 3 times now, and was told only the owner can refund the money and he would call me back. I still have not received that phone call. The pizza is good but Deano's and Pizza Village are better and they won't steal your money.

OK so.. its not the best pizza but it certainly isn't bad... and the humus was actually pretty good. I personally like it better than most pizza places around here ( people are gonna hate me for saying this ) but Cajuns don't know pizza I'm sorry Baudoin yes.. fried foods yes.. pizza no..(braces for stones to be thrown) I just haven't had any pizza around here that was anything close to what I would call great.. and I have eaten deano's and all the other local haunts.. and frankly they just aren't all that wonderful.

Pizzas, Calzones, Sandwiches and Salads are great.... Portions are big and not overpriced. The only thing really lacking is service. I've been several times for lunch and have had the same inattentive aloof and slow service. Forgotten orders, entrees before appetizers and the like. Given that I know what I'm going to get I now order take-out and make them wait. The food is really good but I get better service at a McDonald's and I hate McDonalds.
