Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Had the Philly cheese steak pizza. Awesome pizza and crust. I will definitely try it again!

It was open late and the food was edible. It's good for a quick bite for late night munchies. The thin crust is pretty tasty. The only downfall is that it's a tad salty.

Try the ranch or Asiago crust. It's the best. Or you can even do half ranch half Asiago crust.

Food was great! The amount of cursing coming from the back however made this a one time stop.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised the first time I ordered from Howie's. I had tried them once when I lived in FL several years ago and it kindof tasted like Domino's.... not any more. While this is a chain pizza place, HH is no Domino's or Papa John's. HH serves up some pretty damn good pizza, pizza rolls, garlic bread and other goodies.... and I must present credentials here. I grew up in NYC, have eaten at some of the finest pizza places in NY, and I snub my nose at crap like Domino's as well as most of the other pizza joints in Lafayette like Deano's and Alessi's. I've ordered from HH 4-5 times in the last few months, and here is a summary of what I've had: - Pizza with mushrooms and sausage. Pretty good. Good sesame-infused crust. - Pizza rolls - surprisingly tasty combination of cheese and sausage and pepperoni in a calzone-like roll. - Howie bread. This stuff is their interpretation of garlic bread, and it is really good. I think they use the same dough for this that they make their deep dish pizza with.. (see below). - Deep dish Chicago style pizza - OMG!!! Holy Tony Soprano, Tony Manero and any other Tony you know. This deep dish is off the chain... really. The crust they use here is really fabulous - nice bite, crunchy and chewy, and totally delicious. The sauce and cheese on top is good too. For $10, you get a really big pie that will feed at least three people. HH deep dish is the shit. I am giving HH four stars. I really should give it five if I compared it to the other crappy places in Laf, but I think it's a worthy four star place... ohh, and the girl who gave them one star because she heard the F word in the kitchen is an idiot, and that review may even violate Yelp's terms of service.
