Started as a food truck moved here about 6 months ago. Nice menu we started with a draft beer and the tomato bisque soup nice taste The sandwich BBQ brisket with bacon is excellent. Big enough to share.

AGCC oozes with the comfort that one expects a creative grilled cheese restaurant (with booze!) to provide. I ordered the Boudin Wrangler and the Cast Iron Cochon. Of the two, the CIC was my personal favorite, but the BW was nothing to scoff at. We had fried green beans and cheesy waffle fries (with tomato soup to dip them in!) for appetizers. The sandwiches that I brought home reheated like new on the Foreman after 4 hours of sitting in a box on the floorboard of my car on I-10W. I kind of debated getting a peauxdog for the road. The beer was cold, the food was delicious and the people were great. Our table of four left happy and full and promises of never eating again. If you're in Lafayette, there isn't an excuse not to have tried this place yet!!!

Food truck no more. Acadiana Grilled Cheese has graduated to full fledged restaurant. My husband, mother in-law, and I checked out the new setup today. We had the fried green beans with Thai chili ranch dipping sauce to start. They were huge, fresh, and delicious. My husband had the cast iron cochon. My mother in-law had the brisket and bacon, and I had the Boudin Rangler. We also shared a bowl of tomato bisque and all opted for waffle fries. Our sandwiches and fries were amazing. Although, we all agreed that the brisket and bacon was the best. I'm not a fan of chunky tomato bisque, but my husband swore by it. The service was also top notch. It's always a good sign when you're trying to decide what to order on your next visit on the ride home. We're looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

I had a great meal there in January. On our way back from Texas, I made my boyfriend stop in Lafayette to show him this gem. The store was empty and a posterboard sign said they were having "issues" and were closed until further notice. It's a shame because their food, service and decor were outstanding

If your looking for a great meal with an awesome staff and environment, the Acadiana Grilled Cheese Co is the place. Excellent variety of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, Po-dogs, and salads make their menu the best in town. Add a little cocktail to the mix and you are in for an wonderful experience. And great location, only a few blocks from downtown Lafayette.

Went try this food truck at a round up.. To be honest, if you have time to wait for a grilled cheese, its not bad.. but it kind of sucks that they take 10 minutes to take your order, then another 10 to make your order.. Nevertheless, the people here are really nice, just kind of slow.. Their food is pretty decent, just wish it was on a thicker bread.. we had the following: - Truffled Mac & Bacon - this was okay, i think since the bread was overpowered, it failed the whole sandwich altogether - Boudin Wrangler - this was better than the Truffled Mac & Bacon, and not as overpowered. Not sure if I wanna wait 20 minutes to get a grilled cheese..

I went back to Acadiana Grilled Cheese after my first experience was somewhat of a failure. The second time around, I left feeling satisfied and impressed. The menu items were updated with new sandwich items, which were more creative and executed fabulously. I had a grilled cheese with pulled pork and au jus, and I have to say it was one of the better pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had. I forget the name of the sandwich, but wow do I highly recommend it. My dining partner got a mushroom grilled cheese with bacon, which was also great. I am impressed with the changes, and have high hopes for the success of this locally owned restaurant.

I had the turkey sandwich, it was ok. The fact that I had to wait an hour just to place my order was a little agravating. If I would've been the guy that spent an hour and got to the window just when they run out of cheese or bacon... That would've made me pissed. (And yes that happened). The food is not bad, not out of this world either. I get that they're trying to start something new, they need to get a system going on; or they're not going to last that long.

What a great idea! Who doesn't love grilled cheese sandwiches. With extras! To date I have tried the boudin wrangler (my FAV), electric turkey, buffalo chicken, and angus management. I love all the different dipping sauces that come with each sandwich. Can't wait to try the others. My wait has never been over 10 minutes. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend this food truck.

Great Idea! I always order the bacon and brisk it grilled cheese. It's that good! Follow these guys on Facebook and you will always know where they are.

It was good but I wasnt blown away. (But my point of comparison is one of the best grilled cheese restaurants in the country, the Bleu Squid in Mystic, CT) It would be a good place if you like comfort food with a cajun twist. The wait staff was friendly and lots of seating, just not my cup of tea.

Gourmet take on a classic favorite! But not so gourmet that you have to dress up. AGC Co takes the childhood favorite to the next level, offering many different menu options to chose from. From the normal grilled cheese ("The Straight Up") to the brisket and bacon, their grilled cheeses leave little to be desired! Make sure to make AGC Co a stop on your list next time your looking for a casual meal in downtown Lafayette!
