My husband has a Canes addiction. I like the lemonade. "What's kickin'? How do you like your chicken?" It's Canes. You've been to one, you've to them all. It was clean. The fries were hot. Lemonade was refreshing.

How is it that my neck of the woods is not so very lucky with fast food options? Granted, I try to avoid fast food as much as possible, but during days when I am hustling and bustling and simply do not have time to prepare a home-cooked meal, more greasy delicious options are welcome. I have heard so much of Raising Cane's from my local friends, so I was naturally curious. I get it now. Their chicken is good...quite good, in fact. Paired with the amazing sauce, and it could easily be one of the better fast food meals I have had. The employees here seemed amused and patiently waited for us to make up our minds about what to order. Apparently, everyone else who comes here already knows what to order (made evident by the other customers who ordered after us). Our orders were ready a little later than from other fast food joints, but a couple extra minute of waiting is worth it. The chicken was flavorful, the cole slaw was not soggy, and the Texas toast seemed overkill as the meal was good enough for two moderate eaters. Next time I see a Raising Cane's, I would go back. That was some good fast food chicken!

Two visits in less than a week in two different states.... I admit that I'm a fan. Fresh white meat chicken surrounded by caterpillar fires accented by "Come Back Sauce", what's not to like. The "Chicken Fingers" are hot juicy and packed with flavor. The coleslaw was delicious, which means more veggies than mayonnaise. The Texas toast, for being in Louisiana could not be beat. Stop in!

These guys stick to what they do well, and that's a good thing. Fresh, lightly battered chicken tenderloins are consistently high quality and never frozen. The taste itself is somewhat bland, although the sauce is supposed to supply the flavor. I don't like mayo-based sauces, but everyone else seems to like it. Crinkle cut fries are above average and texas toast is pretty darn yummy. And that's about it for the menu. I'd take Chick Fil-A chicken nuggets over Cane's any day, but nice to see a Louisiana business doing well and serving good stuff.

I am a fan of this place. I love, love, love their chicken fingers, crinkle fries and TEXAS TOAST. The toast is always soft and full of all the butter you should avoid at all costs. But most people will tell you that the sauce is the bomb. I wish I could describe the taste of Cane's sauce. But it is something special. The stuff is so good, it is the only sauce they offer. They also offer hot sauce as a condiment. I sometimes add hot sauce to my cane's sauce for extra kick! This place started near LSU campus in Baton Rouge. Cane is the name of a beloved pet. Not sure if the dog belonged to the owner. Fast forward years later and there are several locations nationwide. I almost fainted when I rode past one when living in Boston, MA. This place only sells chicken fingers so if you are a fan of them, this is not the place for you. If you like fingers, I would bet you would become a fan. It is similar to Zaxby's, just better.

This was my first time at Canes and I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter saw one when we left downtown and I suggested we go there if one was close to where we were staying. Long story short we went and it was better than I expected. Everything was fresh and tasty. Loved the crinkle cut fries and the sauce. Too bad they don't have any in Kansas.

Big fan of Cane's here! Everything about them speaks fresh; from their lemonade to their sauce. Only thing about them is they are a little pricey so I don't frequent as much as I would like.

Being born and raised in New Orleans means that I have a hell of a lot of Popeye's-loyalty (and KFC-disdain), but Raising Cane's is something else. When I was growing up, it was a treat reserved for trips to the Mall of America (though never enough of a lure to make me really enjoy Baton Rouge). Since moving back after living away for college and med school I've been DELIGHTED by the number of Cane's popping up. Sure, you've gotta make the trek to Metairie or Kenner or Elmwood, but on a drive back from the airport? Why not? While Cane's crispy skin will never beat Popeye's head-to-head, sometimes you just need a good tender and some Cane sauce. As long as they keep doing what they're doing, I'll continue to tempted to make dedicated trips to the desolate NOLA-suburbia (and that's saying a lot coming from me!)

I like Cane's and all, but I prefer a certain competitor- Popeyes. This chicken is good but it isn't as crispy as I normally like. I do love the Texas toast and the coleslaw and the sweet tea, but the main dish- the chicken is just ok for me. Oh, I must say, I do like the sauce. Still, I want more outta that chicken.

Would you like chicken or chicken?Tenders or sandwiches only here! I can tell that their chicken has never been frozen because of it s tender and juicy texture. The Texas toast is soft and chewy goodness. A little pricey I guess for what it is but its always consistent. Friendly staff. Fresh food, yummy lemonade.

I normally love Cane's but this time not so much. It took about 45 mins to order and get our order and the chicken was over cooked. Staff was friendly though.

A very simple menu, just like Kris A said. With that being said, the chicken is worth a review. Fingers only, so good, better than Popeyes, KFC, or anything else with a logo. They fries are crinkle cut and they offer this dipping sauce for the chicken which is a secret sauce of sorts. The service is quick, the drinks are self serve. Temperature tends to be chilly but the service is warm. I often get cold fries, but the staff is always willing to correct this problem. I like Canes a lot for what it is. Their chicken will never taste like fish, and for that alone, garners a 5 star.
