Quiet little cafe with a few ladies chatting to fill the atmosphere. Calm music in the background. Good bfast selection. I ordered blueberry pancakes, sausage (jimmy dean which is my fav) and hash browns. Coffee was hot. A pretty good breakfast. Am traveling and just wanted to sit down outside of a fast food joint. Turns out the pancakes were terrific I would get em again in a heartbeat if I wasn't so full. Hash browns were not seasoned much but considering our excessive salt intake as Americans this might not be a bad thing. :) add S&P to season to your liking and all is well. Thanks for an enjoyable breakfast on the road ladies.

The food here is amazing. If you like home cooked food that your mom or grandma use to make you will love it here. It is a gorgeous place with nice music. I will make sure to come back

SPECTACULAR service and food at an affordable price. I will be back the next time I come to NOLA. I had the breakfast Burrito and almost bit my fingers off while trying to eat the last bite.

Banana fritter was perfect. Not greasy and just sweet enough. Coffee was good, too. Server was very nice and took good care of us.

Stopped here after reading the reviews this morning. Yes--amazing place with a great owner and incredible atmosphere. Prices are more than fair and food and drinks were amazing. The shop is set in a rather unassuming shopping center--but the moment you walk in the door of this place its charm overtakes you. Rare to find these sort of places any more with friendly owners and great food/coffee. Highly recommended!
The young girl who served me was a jane-of-all-trades. She was my waitress, bartender, cook and barista! Quaint little place with a decent Bloody Mary (admittedly, my standards are very high in that department) and a fantastic Roast Beef and Gravy Po Boy. And they didn't mind that I hung around to get some computer work done and drink coffee!

Great local restaurant! Food is amazing and everything is made fresh. The service was great as well. Will definitely come here again next time I'm in the area. Note: The wait is a little long for the food but is the wait worth the food? YES!

Next time you're in the mood for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch YOU'VE GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE - you won't be disappointed ;0) Try the Bloody Mary, French Toast, Omelet, or anything on their French Bread. And right now for the HOLIDAYS they have HOMEMADE Pralines for sale ;0) #DELICIOUS

Adorable and insanely delicious brunch spot, with great atmosphere, kind people, and quick without feeling rushed! Before my Sunday afternoon flight back home, was looking for a nice spot to grab brunch- and after trying a few other places closer to the city that were packed with people, we called here to see if they could fit us in quickly before our flight. The owners were so kind, telling us if course they could. When we arrived a table was reserved and a kind waitress took our order. We ended up getting almost everything on the breakfast menu - cause everything looked so good! We shared scrumptious blueberry pancakes, banana fritters, French Toast, Southern omelettes and cheese grits. We had to resist from licking the plates it was so good! Not only did we fit in a wonderful brunch before our flight, we also bought some beautiful cards and browsed their handmade blanket and art collection! Highly recommend you stop by sometime! (Thanks to the owners for a wonderful meal!)

Le Petit Cafe literally kept two hungry and hungover adults from crying. We wanted anything other than fast food breakfast before our drive back to Texas. After two failed attempts at other restaurants we stopped to get gas and low and behold the Golden Arches were staring us right in the face. While he pumped gas, I frantically yelped out of fear of succumbing. Le Petit Cafe came up. The yelp reviews were good and they were still serving breakfast as it was now lunch time... Coffee was our first goal. Check. After we put in our coffee order we realized they had coffee in the Irish form. We asked the waitress if we could have some Bailey's thrown in. She was more than happy to do so. We finally cracked a half smile because things were looking up. Just then, the most brilliant question anyone has ever asked me came from across the restaurant. "Do you want a shot of Jameson in those?" Full fledged ear to ear grins from both of us. "Yes!" It came out beautifully done with whip cream and green sprinkles made by the owner herself. The menu had exactly what we wanted. The blueberry waffles and the hash browns hit the spot. The food came out quickly which was helpful since we were needing to get on the road. I wish I had the waitress's name because she was very pleasant and knew exactly what we needed. If I were coming back through New Orleans, I would definitely stop there again. We also threw in a homemade hybrid money bread-cinnamon roll for a snack later on down the road. It lasted no more than 30 minutes. We even tried to only eat half and save the rest. Nope. Four hours later, we're both wishing we had another one.

I'm typing one-fingered from my phone because I'm traveling from NY and this place is so great that I didn't want to forget to review it. My husband and daughter had the roast beef Po' Boys - homemade roast beef & gravy on an amazing local seeded French bread. I had the grilled Cuban with pulled pork, which was panini-style and I realized it was the same bread but so flat that it didn't even occur to me that it was the same bread until I looked closely. It was a perfect mix of pork, cheese and pickles grilled so that the outside was crunchy. The menu had all sorts of interesting things on it, which I don't remember now, because we were rushing to the airport. They have homemade soups, including split pea and lentil, and lots if breakfast options. We got to this restaurant 20 minutes before they closed and they treated us like we were their first customers of the day. A woman came out and talked to us about the history of the place and her sister, who has owned it for 21 years. who had just left so unfortunately we couldn't meet her. She talked with us about our travels and asked us to make sure to have our daughter bring her friends from Tulane over when they come back next fall. She said it's hard running a place like that, but they've been at it for 21 years and want to keep going. It's just a few minutes north of the airport and I will definitely go out of my way whenever I'm back in NOLA to revisit this place. Our GPS system let us astray on this one for no reason that we could figure out. Just make sure to look at the street addresses. It's in a strip mall but it sits out very close to, and facing, the road. Well, I've reached about the end of what I can do with one finger. It took forever to do this but it was worth every tap.

Food was pretty good; inexplicably took a loooong time to get a simple breakfast with the place virtually empty. 5 stars is definitely too high from my experience, but it's still one of the better places around.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Not only was the food delicious, the service and ambience were something to take note of. The breakfast here is delicious, but the desserts are the real shining star. Their homemade brownies are amazing. I think that's the best brownie I've had. And I cannot say enough just how nice the people here are. If you are looking for a good breakfast, look no further than Le Petit Cafe. This place is also accommodating to dining alone, I didn't feel rushed or out of place at all.

My boyfriend lives in Kenner so we randomly dropped in here one day for breakfast... Judy, one of the 3 sisters who owns the biz told us they have been open 19 years and everything on the menu is made from scratch. This is what you want to hear when you sit down for breakfast. I had the south of the border omelet. It had cheese, jalapeños, pulled pork, and salsa. It was a perfectly cooked omelet. My boyfriend had the pancakes which were also delicious. The food is simple and well-prepared. You can tell by the greeting that you receive, the quality and presentation of the food - a lot of love goes into this business and the food they serve. No-nonsense food in a warm and casual environment. These ladies know what they are doing.

If you're looking for a quiet and cozy place to drink your cup of Joe, look no further. This is a family run coffee shop/restaurant. They have daily specials, homemade brownies, pastries, and so much more. I love the European look of the place and the service is spectacular! I have yet to be disappointed with anything I try. The French Toast is made out of real French bread, the pancakes are always fluffy and BIG!!!, the daily specials are HUGE servings. Simply put, Love the food and the people.

We just recently moved to the Kenner/Chateau Estates area, and came across the café for some breakfast, which we found on Yelp. The dining area was adorable and welcoming. It had a nice homestyle atmosphere, with Sinatra playing in the background. The owner of the restaurant was a sweetheart and truly made the experience. The breakfast definitely tasted homemade, and was delicious. I highly recommend those brownies!
