My husband and I had the Gyro plate and it was so good. The meat was tender, the hummus was just spicy enough with the jalapeño added. The price was great too. This will be my go to place for Mediterranean from now on.

This place is absolutely delicious! Often, Mediterranean meat does not have enough flavor, but the meat at Fatima's is seasoned to perfection. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I think this is definitely my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the Greater New Orleans area

Got a sampler and it was delish; def not a place about ambiance or atmosphere, but food was really good!

I used to drive by this place and was skeptical of what I could expect from any place in Kenner. One day I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Simple, homemade food, and good service. Every time I come in I feel like i'm eating at a friends house. The place is a small, hole in the wall cafe. I love the hummus with lamb and I really like their rice. The food always hits the spot and when I crave mediterranean I have to go in and get my fix. Also their baklava is really, really good. Dangerously good. I recommend this place to anyone who has driven by and not given it a chance.

Love, love, love, love, love this place! The food was beyond delicious. I most definitely going back today just to get some chicken shawarma. The best I ever had. The season on the chicken was just right. the customer service, omg!! He was wonderful! Very kind. I would most definitely recommend this place to any of my friends my family whoever wants to go and get some delicious Mediterranean food. they should go check it out I promise you will not be sorry.. I wish I could give this place 10 stars, but 5 is the best!

Perfect. Please stop here and keep this place open. Try the fatima sampler. We asked the salad dressing recipe to the owner and he mentioned 10 different ingredients. This is Mediterranean food perfected from someone whos had a lot of practice.

Food was obviously reheated. Inside was empty looks like they rarely have dine in customers. Grape leaves were pathetic. Completely suspicious of all the 4 & 5 star reviews.

I signed up for yelp just so I could rave about this food. My family moved to the Kenner area several months ago and every time I visit from Dallas it has been a struggle to find fresh, healthful food that is not fried, and a vegetable other than iceberg lettuce. This food blew me away- everything we tried. The vegetarian grape lead rolls, everything on the sampler, the lentil soup...packed with flavor, fresh, delicious. And an extremely kind proprietor from Palestine. If I could nominate it for a james beard award I would, if only for the oasis of healthful food in a desert of po boys and daiquiris.

Went here several times. For a little over $10 you can get the combination plate of shwarma (?) And gyro that will fill you up quite well. I also like the lebanese tea; a bit sweet for my taste but still delicious. I want to branch out and try other plates but the one I always get is just too good to try another. Their bak lava (?) Is good as well!

If you like eating hot food with no ac...lord help this place in kenner with our 100 degree heat. Food was good. Not my favorite. If I was dying for a gyro and this was the only place open I'd probably order take out.

This was our second time going to this Restaurant and the food was consistent and very fresh. I had the shish kabob and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Gyros plate both times and was very both times. I'm going for lunch today to try something else.

Tonight I switched from my normal gyro plate and the Lamb with Humus. The lamb was grilled and very well seasoned. I may have found my new favorite dish here.

Went to this place with a group of guys. We had Humus, Baba Ganoush, Labneh and Falafel. Then the entrees came out: hamburger, chicken Lula, Philly cheese steak sand which, lamb chops, Chicken Quesidilla and shrimp pasta. Obviously this isn't exactly an solely Arabic food restaurant. Overall, the food quality and taste was very good. Not as good as the Arabic food I've had in London, Detroit or Houston but still note worthy. The baba ghanoush and falafels stood out for their uniqueness. besides the fact that the owner doesn't speak a lick of English and thinks he can memorize the orders of 9 people (which he could not), try this place. It feels homely and fresh.

My wife and I eat here weekly. This is our favorite restaurant. The staff is very polite, and always surprise us with something extra...a sauce to try, complimentary bakliva, or iced teas to go. The restaurant is never crowded, and the service is always quick and consistent.

Idk if I would call this a single $ but the food was very good. Got the combination plate, shwarma and gyro and was happy with both.

One day when my girlfriend and I were trolling around through Kenner looking for a place to eat we noticed this place located in a strip mall. Given the fact we had nothing better to do we decided to try this place out. The service was pretty good. The older gentlemen out front was very nice and polite. The speed of the service was on par as well. The time from when we placed our order until we got our food was only a few minutes. Now onto the food. What good food it was! I had the beef Schwarma with salad, rice, hummus, pita bread and iced tea. The beef schwarma was the bomb! It was very flavorful and spicy. The rice was good and so was the salad. The pita bread was nice and fresh. It was a refreshing change from other Mediterranean cuisine places that usually have stale pita bread. I definitely LOVED that hummus! I wish I knew what they did to make it so good. Their iced tea was good but it kind of threw me off a little. I honestly expected something that was similar to Lipton. Instead it was way totally different, the tea had Jasmine in it. It was good, just a little unexpected that's all. When I tell you this place is small, I mean small! I think there were only about seven tables in this place. But when it comes to restaurants size doesn't matter, it's the kind of food you serve that does. In short this place serves good Mediterranean cuisine, But it is very small.

Mediocre Mediterranean Food I went here to try the gyro plate. The place is small and the air conditioning system barely works to keep the place 75 degrees. The plate came with yellow rice, salad, pita bread, hummus, and the gyro meat. The meat was the best on the plate and had good flavor. The salad and rice were ordinary and the hummus had too strong of a vinegar flavor. I wouldn't return to this place as there are much better choices for this kind of food.

Great combo plate. Gyro and chicken shawarma. Came with hummus rice and a salad. Home made sour cream and Pitas. --10.95-- Worth every penny it was delicious. And filling great portions not American huge but that was expected as its med food not soul food.. Great flavors and spice in the hummus. I'll be returning.

I was quite pleased with our food. I ordered the chicken kabob and my friend ordered grilled fish with lamb chops. We loved the fish as it was cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were cooked and seasoned just right. The chicken kabob plate was tasty and filling as it came with a salad, rice, and hummus. The service was a bit slow and we were the only customers there at the time. The owner did come to our table to ask how we were enjoying our meal so that is always nice. No liquor served here. Soft drinks, bottled water, and this delicious mango juice are your only drink options.

To put it simply, it's some of the best food around. If you get the meal it's a little more money, but it easily matches the portion and quality (comes with salad, rice, etc.). If you get a regular wrap, it runs cheaper but still filling. And again, the quality is key. The lamb is especially worth checking out. Get a sweet Turkish coffee to wake you up afterward.

The place does not look that appealing but the food are superb. We will definitely come back again. We ordered Red lentil soup, Eggplant Potato Moussaka, Falafel and chicken shawrama. I can't tell you which one is better because they all superb. Please give it a try!
