Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is the best Rotolo's of any location. We find ourselves at a pizza place once a week and Rotolos is a frequent choice. The Baton Rouge locations could learn a thing or two from these folks. The quality of the food and service is always outstanding. The salad was fresh, generous toppings. The pizza was perfection - crust was crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. Just yummy and super nice staff. High five to the folks in the kitchen too! BTW Alex is THE best, I sure hope he is a part of the management team because he provides great service and leadership.

Service is the worst ever. Waited for a while to be greeted by a server, never happened. We finally grabbed on and made them take a to go order, 4 personal cheese pizzas for the kids. While food came out that wasn't ours, the server didn't know who it belonged to so it say on the bar for 20 or 30 minutes. I managed to get 2 beers while I waited by catching the server behind the bar by the beers and paying cash. I will soon leave an address for them to ship my order of it ever comes out, but for now I must go feed my kids.

Used to eat here weekly. Loved the staff and they knew us. Now? The food has gone downhill and the new staff doesn't seem to care. We gave it two tries in the past 4 months and both were bad and over priced.

A little pricey for takeout, but great tasting pizza. The "Sweep the Floor" was especially good. Pretty good beer selection. Location is in Beautiful downtown Hammond.

I've been to this place 3 times and have never been served a meal. The first time, my friend and I were simply ignored by the waitress while she sat at the bar and chatted with a group of boys she knew. Went back a couple months later to give them another try and got our drinks, but the waitress didn't come back for 20 minutes. When she did, she reeked of marijuana smoke and was obviously high. She walked up, swayed, used the table to keep herself steady, said, "Hey, do y'all wanna order?" We walked out... Gave them one last try a few months later. We got our drinks and made our order, but after 30 minutes, we still hadn't received our food. There was only one other table of customers in the restaurant. We asked an employee (not our waitress, because we hadn't seen her) and it turned out our waitress hadn't turned in the order to the kitchen. We waited another 15 minutes and when we finally saw our waitress, we asked again. She gave us an absolutely unacceptably rude reply and walked away. So did we. I'll never set foot in this business again.

Now owned by the Cerise family this place is shooting to the top of the Hammond scene. The pizza is by far the best in Hammond and the beer selection is second to none. Thanks again Cerises for saving another great restaurant.

Had lunch at Rotolo's in Hammond today. I was extremely disappointed in the level of service. There were only a few people in the restaurant, maybe only 3 other tables of diners. It took over 40 minutes to get our food, one personal cheese pizza and some chicken nuggets. While the food was good, I found the wait to be unacceptable given the relatively light crowd. I think they should be able to do better. We have been there before and it has been good. It just seems like the service level has been slipping the last several times we have eaten there.

I like this chain a lot! I have only been to this location once. We were 1 of 2 big groups that was there for lunch on a saturday. We got there after the bigger group so our service wasn't the greatest, but the food was awesome. The spinach artichoke dip is a ramekin of cheesy, yummy goodness. I love their four cheese pizza/calzone and the chicken parmesan is pretty good as well. I mainly visit the Denham Springs location, and now there is one in Walker which is even closer! I haven't been there yet, but it's only a matter of time!

Great pizza! Best lunch specials in town. Definitely the place to be on Wednesdays with their 4.99 Calzones and 1/2 priced Pitchers. Live music on Fridays with $1 Pabst, $2 Slices (starting at 9), $3 Long Islands and Margaritas. Big dinning room, perfect for large partys. And now they Deliver!!!!
