Good not great. "A-OK pretty much sums it up. Stopped in here for lunch around 1 pm. The place wasn't packed at all. We got our menus, decided what we wanted pretty quickly and then waited. And waited. And waited. About 35 minutes later our food finally came out. Now, before you go thinking that I must have ordered something complicated, let me break it down. I ordered a croissant club sandwich with a side salad and my lunch companion ordered a wrap with fries. Nothing about either one of those things takes 35 minutes. After the wait, the food wasn't too bad. I ate half of my sandwich and took the other half to go. My side salad was basically lettuce and cheese, but that's not too bad I guess. I would probably go back if I wasn't in any type of hurry, but if I had to be somewhere by a certain time I would probably choose another lunch spot.

Shitty food. Shitty service. Still waiting for food and drinks after an hour. DO NOT COME HERE!!

Food: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 I kind of am obligated to come here a few times a year and while I don't really care for the food all that much the service and atmosphere are pretty good. Inexpensive food too as I usually spend about $25 for 3 courses and a drink. The semicircular bar is in the middle of the restaurant. There are booths and tables around the bar. The ambiance is nice if you like minimalistic decor. Decent amount of TV's provide almost everyone a good view of those cherished sports games. Props to Charlie! He is a wonderful server. Very personable and attentive.

I was staying at the holiday inn which has round house connected to it. My first encounter with round eye was for breakfast. Breakfast was bad, buffet included eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries. Eggs were cold and flat no real Taste to them, the sausage and home fries were ok, and the bacon was super greasy. The staff was hard to work with as you couldn't really find them. Fast forward a few days, I was quite busy and skipped lunch so I was hungry at 3 I didn't want a meal as I had dinner plans at 8 but needed something. So I thought give round house a try for an app, decided to have wings they were amazing, staff was present, attentive, happy, and ready to work. Food came out fast. I ate a Buffalo Wild Wings earlier in the week and the wings here were leaps and bounds better. Great staff and good food just don't come for breakfast.

Very bad service, food was okay. Came in and had to try and find a server. Eventually a lady came out of the back and I had to go ask her to be seated... She did so with heavy attitude. She came back around ten minutes later, in which I ordered and did not see her again for nearly an hour. Not for a refill, not to check in, nothing. I eventually got my food, which was done fairly well (nothing special). I gave her a 20 so she could get change so I could tip her... And she gave me terrible attitude for that as well. Overall, just a terrible experience to go along with a sub-par experience at the hotel

Ate there mid-september several times. As I was staying in the hotel for a few nights, It was convenient to eat there. The hotel uses the bar space for their morning breakfast.. and that is about one would expect for a free buffet breakfast. Now on to the Lunch/Dinner/Snacks drinks: The good and the bad. Drinks: well made and balanced for the most part, and they are willing to accomodate strange requests. Food: This is a love/hate thing. Imagine perfectly seasoned fresh gulf shrimp, loaded with flavor and amazing taste and texture. Now imagine they did not bother de-veining them. Yep.. a sandwich or noodles loaded with almost delicious almost legendary flavor completely ruined by lack of prep work. Cleanliness: Um.. they are probably sterilized by the dishwasher, but silverware seems to arrive smudged and looking grimy. Almost without fail. The little things that make you want to cry. Service: A very friendly and helpful bunch, and over all a really nice bunch. Obviously a bit more attention to the mentioned details could take them to stellar levels. So close.. yet so far.

The Roundhouse Bar & Grill is part of the Holiday Inn although it deserves its own review so other locals can find out how great it is. I didn't find a category for it: It's a sports bar, but also a place to eat good food without paying and arm and a leg for it, they have coffee and tea of course, and wont run out of beer or booze either. They have free wireless from the hotel so really its an Internet cafe to me I guess. That's the lagniappe which seals the deal for me and makes my car pull over there. I could see myself stopping by often for a few minutes of wireless, a snack and a beverage, maybe get to know some of the locals there. The food is good, and its good value too. Nothing pretentious, just good fuel for the body and most of us could afford to be a regular here, both from health and money perspectives. If you're on a rabbit's diet, bring your own low cal fat free salad dressing though unless you want to fall off the wagon. I swear I need a car fridge now. If you can't or won't cook, they have daily specials that seem to be a good choice for a hot balanced meal. SOME specials maybe cheaper than making the same thing at home, depending how much you'd waste. The servers are friendly, seem to enjoy their jobs and take care of you well, each time we've gone we've felt they earned a decent tip. Perhaps we'll meet you there one day.

Pretty good if you want a hamburger or a sandwich. They also have a full bar & televisions if you want to watch a game.

A while back I purchased a restaurant.com coupon for this place and my wife and I went to grab a quick dinner before going out. The atmosphere is sporty with a large amount of TV's and a bar that is the center piece of the place. The restaurant is attached to the Holiday Inn hotel so I believe they also handle the room service orders as well. The specials were actually reasonably priced. There was a bucket of beer special going on and an order of wings type special, along with a few other items. we ordered the nacho appetizer and I would highly recommend it. A very large portion so if all you want are drinks and an app, that one should not be overlooked. My wife had a salad which was she enjoyed very much and I had the steak dinner which was cooked the way I like it. So, as far as food goes, its a good place to grab a bite to eat. The service was good although they looked a bit understaffed. Our waitress was also handling the hotel catering but that didnt affect our service. Overall, I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or early dinner. The expectation should be drinks and bar type food while watching a game.

i have spent 14 hours straight in this place once about 2 years ago when we tinted all the windows around the entire establishment. from the lurking view up above on the ladder, it looked as if everyone was satisfied... actually me and the wife went there a few weeks back to see how the food was and it was pretty good. there are a few things on the menu that u dont see at other places, like a fancy hot dog and some other dressed up ball park food from what i remember...theres a full bar and a sports bar atmosphere. i compare it to the fox and hound, minus the pool tables. all in all its wasnt bad at all.

We stayed at the hotel next door and got vouchers for breakfast. Nothing was labeled, some of the food was in crock pots on the bar across the room from the rest of the food so it was easy to miss. Eggs were real but potatoes were cold, sausage was dried out. "Clean" plates were on a folding plastic card table that was left uncovered (this bothered me quite a bit!), plastic spoons were in a little plastic cup near the plates but no other utensils were available. But, the real kick was the absolute rudeness of the staff member who dismissively waved at a table as they walked by (the sign said Please Wait to be Seated), but when we hesitated to sit there another staff member tried to help us only to interrupted by the first who said, "I told them they could sit there." Really?? "Them"?? When we were standing right there? We were never offered any utensils, and while I was putting food on my plate (it was self serve) Ron witnessed the first staff member berate another customer for having gone back up to their room for reading glasses. After all of this we just decided to leave (we couldn't really eat our food without utensils anyway) and get breakfast elsewhere. Horrible experience.

Just had breakfast here and have not had service this bad in a very long time. Very frustrating. That being said we have had dinner here twice during our stay and Will was a great server. I will be leaving the hotel for breakfast for the rest of our stay.

The bartender was nice. The food was not good. It look like a frozen food dinner heated up and placed on a plate. The breakfast food was amateur. I had a plate with gum stuck underneath it. Yuck! The younger waitress didn't have the good customer service nor a hello. So annoying.

$7.95 for the unlimited soup salad and baked potato bar. Soups have all been good so far. Chicken noodle was a tad too salty.

I wanted the shrimp and grits, however when they said it had ham in it, I had to pass :-( Note: I don't eat pork! So I went for the grilled shrimp Caesar salad which did not disappoint!! It was sooo good and I ate ALL OF IT! The waitress Mooky was awesome too!! I wanted a hot toddy so she helped make one up for me and gave me all the tea I wanted to my hearts content!! As well as a second round. Will definitely try to come back next time in town. The ambience was cool. Looks like it would make for a great sports bar on a game day.

Th Roundhouse is located inside/next to the Holiday Inn, but doesn't feel like a hotel restaurant. It has a sports bar feel with numerous flat screens, a bunch of good beers and good food. I have been here numerous times and have always had great food. The menu should appeal to most regardless of what your looking for. Roundhouse has grilled fish, wraps, sandwiches and salads. Their buffalo chicken salad is one of my favorite items. Fried chicken strips with buffalo sauce in a salad with lettuce, onion, tomato and blue cheese crumbles make an excellent lunch. Their sandwiches are also very good with the steak sandwich being my favorite. The sandwich consists of a small sirloin on french cooked to order. It is one of the better steak sandwiches I have had. It can get crowded during lunch so service can suffer, but the food is always good. I suggest sitting in one of the booths because the tables are high, making for a less comfortable stool. If your on the westbank and want a good meal in a laid back atmosphere, Roundhouse should be added to your list.
