Stopped in for my standard venti iced coffee with two Splenda and half and half. Ordered the iced coffee and asked for the Splenda to be put in for me. As I went to pour my own half and half I noticed they only had skim milk and 2% on the counter. When I asked the barista for half and half she said they were out but had heavy whipping cream if I wanted that. Out of half and half? This is Starbucks right? I then asked if they had whole milk. After a few moments passed she handed me the standard silver pitcher with the words "half and half" written on it and said this was whole milk. Wondering how the next customer will be notified of the lack of half and half? I sense there will be disappointment as they walk away sipping on their drink as it won't have the full flavor of what we come to expect from half an half in our cups. Giving two stars because at least I have a venti iced coffee next to me...doesn't taste that great but it's caffeine...

I know I'm from DC metro but can someone is able to work the cash registered. Been waiting for 10 minutes and its the same customer. Line has not moved. Very very slow.

Do you ever find yourself driving to Baton Rouge from New Orleans? If so, this Starbucks is perfectly located at the point where the drive becomes so exhaustively boring that you need a pit stop. Because of that, I used to stop here every time I went to BR. I would even follow Highway 30 the long way around to avoid the traffic on I-10. Fast forward to current day, and I rarely drive I-10 to BR which means many less stops here. A couple of weeks ago I was scheduled to attend two days of training right up the street, so i became reacquainted with this location. Like all Starbucks, this location was very clean and well staffed. The issue was the amount of people here. It was totally filled with people inside and the drive thru line was even longer. It took much longer than normal to get my drink, but the staff were friendly. If you're driving through, or in the area and need a coffee fix, come here. Just be prepared to wait.

I usually come for the Pick of the Day Bold blend coffee, but sometimes treat myself to a hot or cold specialty coffee. There are several blends to choose from....so try them all. If you visit regularly, get their rewards card and you get a free item after a number of visits, special coupons and invitations, etc.

this is my favorite Starbucks in the world. Its a wonderful oasis after surviving baton rouge traffic on the way to new orleans. parking is tight and its always busy but the staff if friendly and very fast. Probably the friendliest Starbucks I frequent.

This is your cookie cutter Starbucks...conveniently located outside the Tanger Outlet mall. If you don't feel the need to get out of your car, use the drive thru, as that is the priority service. The indoor seating is limited, but on a nice day there is ample seating outside. The baristas are friendly and they are not slow, I think they are just more personable and chat with you a little more than in some Baton Rouge locations [when you're in the store].

It's nice to have a Starbucks around that I can count on for a consistently good cup of whatever I happen to be craving. I've been going here for years and leave happy every time. It does get busy, so allow yourself some time in the mornings. However, compared to other SB locations, I do find they take care of the crowd in a fairly quick manner. I have to also mention Roxanne. I'm always happy to hear her voice at the drivethru speaker. She knows what she's doing and knows how to run the drivethru in the mornings. Also, she's always so pleasant and friendly when you get to the window!

Can I start of by saying how much I love Starbucks coffee? Well, I love Starbucks coffee! I don't have it often though, but I do have those cravings that happen occasionally. A few cups within a span of three weeks should set me straight. (All of those not brought my me though) The holiday season brings my favorite... Creme Brulee Latte! Although, in a frap form is amazing too with soy milk and no whip cream. My friends and I use to be stuck on Starbucks at the beginning of college. There was one so close to school, that on our breaks we'd hope in someone's car and go. This location just opened up right by my house, however I feel the parking and drive-thru could be better. It's on the corner of a busy street, but the drive-thru line get's so ridiculous and it sometimes can cut into traffic. The parking lot is just weird in general. Getting in and out could be confusing for first timers. Just don't drive into the drive-thru people leaving. The inside is spacious and the workers are friendly the last time I went. My friend had recently signed up for the Starbucks card and asked for information on it. The girl who rang us out was quite informative and helpful. Good thing I didn't sign myself up for one because it would be the death of me. I've thought about purchasing one of their cups, but that would just be an incentive to purchase more coffee! I do like the plastic cups now come with a dome top for fraps if you want whip cream. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and quiet for downing a cup of coffee, while getting some much needed reading time.

Tall hot chocolate add cinnamon. YUM His Gonzales location is suited right between tanger outlet and cabelas. My order was correct, not too hot and delivered quickly. My only complaint was that the drive through is pretty tight. My husband drives a big truck and he had to seriously pay attention to where he was going.

Slowest Starbucks I've EVER visited. Nothing much more than that to be said. Starbucks is Starbucks, but never before have I waited twenty minutes to get coffee with only three people in line (inside). Workers clearly disinterested in customer service. Just making time with each other... I guess It's a good place for a dating hookup if you work there. SEVEN workers but moves as slowly as if one one person on staff. They were more interested in hitting on one another and chatting about the condition of the restrooms than they were in taking care of customers. Go somewhere else... it couldn't be much worse and you couldn't wait much longer. heck, get coffee from the gas station.. they might be nicer AND more attentive.

Came in while its was packed and the streets are backed up. But the service was on point, busy as it was I've waited longer being the only one in line at other Starbucks. And here no more waiting. Service 9/10. Area 2/10.

WAY TO SLOW! I waited 14 minutes in drive though with only 5 cars a head of me. So I was thinking ok they must be busy inside. I pull up and look and their was only 4 people in there. Their reason for being slow was we are under staff. Well looking through these review I see people have complained about the same thing 3 mouths ago. So what's really going on at this Starbucks. My drink was good, but so not worth the wait
I'm not a fan of chains and I'm not a fan of Starbucks. This Starbucks didn't have lemon for my iced tea so I felt I had been sold an incomplete product. When I ordered my unsweet iced tea with lemon the fellow taking my order replied, "we don't have lemonade" and I repeated that I just wanted unsweet tea with lemon and he again said, "we don't have lemonade" so again I said loudly (in my best army command voice), "I just want a slice of lemon with my tea" and then he miraculously understood the English language and told me that they don't have lemons. I like my coffee dark black with nothing else in it and my tea unsweet with noting but lemon and Starbucks tries to sell you God awful concoctions full of sugar and all manner of other atrocities to nature that should never be consumed. Starbucks and I just don't get along in general but if you're going to sell iced tea you better damn well carry lemon wedges or I'm going to be extremely unhappy and put you on my one star list! Tip: Hey why not carry lemon and teach your staff to understand English and stop injecting all that sugar as clearly its rotting your brains or impacting your hearing?

Worst Starbucks ever!!! Stopped here on my drive back to California from Florida. It was the day after Christmas and there was a line as expected, but what I didn't expect was the line to not move because the spiky haired cashier was over tasked making sandwiches for everyone while the remaining staff serviced the drive-thru. I know it'll sound like an exaggeration but it was 38 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. All we ordered was a Venti dark roast and a single shot of espresso. At least we got to use clean restrooms right- bleck no. Gross!

It's starbucks ! Love the products, and so does everyone else. So this place is buzzing all morning long, it's on my way to work and I'm late almost every day so I just look at the long line and sigh. But when I do go through the line, it really does move. sometimes I think the drive thru is faster than the shop. Also I use my phone app to pay and sometimes have trouble with it. They are always nice and patient and have a smile on, they really pay attention to their customers. The store is also really busy, I tried to do some business there but it's really hard to find a table most days. It's also at the entrance to the tanger mall so if it's a busy mall day it will be hard to get in and out. I only go during the week, never on saturday !

I will echo the sentiment, this is THE WORST Starbucks ever. I have now stopped there three times and have had bad experiences EVERY time. We will frequent different Starbucks now on, from waiting an inordinate amount of time to get the drinks (watching them sit on the counter and people inside confirm that they're our drinks but not bring them to us) to asking if they have cake pops (Yes we do, do you have salted caramel? No, do you have chocolate? Yes, but it's a little melted so I'm gonna say no. How about birthday cake? No. Then why would you say you have cake pops? Laughter in response, pull around for your total.) Do not waste your time or money stopping at this location. It is just not worth the hassle.

I am appalled that my $5 hot milk experience was tainted with a sour attitude. I received the most unacceptable, unprofessional service ever! Out of all the stores I have been in, coast to coast and in between, busy or slow, most of the time, I am relatively satisfied with my experience. For starters, I pulled up to the drive thru and I am not sure if the machine wasn't working or if the representatives weren't answering, so we pulled up to the window to place our orders. We were minimally greeted, definitely not with a smile, my friend placed his order, the rep walked away, and we had to call her back so I could place mine, which for some reason she had an awful demeanor about her. She gives us our coffee, but did not give us back our change NOR a receipt. The window wasn't closed, but she did not conclude the visit with a thank you, and still we were waiting for the receipt, when we asked her for it, another representative came to the window to gossip about something, and I asked the new rep what the original person's name was, and she asked me why! I am beyond livid at this point. Starbucks will be hearing from me.

I was recently in the Gonzales area for an almost 2 week business trip. The coffee at the Hotel and at the Plant was barely OK, which led most of us to the next best thing in the morning - This Starbucks. Maybe there was a specialty independent java house out there someplace, but we were just happy to have this option so close by.

Avoid this place from 2:00 til 4:30. Drive thru was backed up with 6 cars at 3:30 on a Wednesday. They are either slow or really busy. Decide for yourself just be ready to wait. Btw the parking area is small and usually full in the afternoon.

Clean bathrooms and great service. Not a big fan of Starbucks, but this one is run very well and convenient on those NO-BR runs. Their Gingerbread Latte is THE BOMB, but it's only served during Christmas season. Breakfast sandwiches have improved over the years and are now actually edible. Free wifi for customers!

What could I possible add..this is your typical Starbucks chain coffee. Gets me through the day when I'm in the area but I certainly don't make a special trip for it. This location is small which is surprising for the location next to Cabela's and Tanger; I would think it would be much larger for these 2 reasons. Usually I will go through drive through for lack of seating. They do have outdoor seating area which faces the interstate and Hwy 30 which is a disappointment. I've always had good service and good coffee. I am a café au lait connoisseur so I may not be the best to rate however I do feel it is a decent cup of coffee. This location also offers a limited menu but we still do not have a full service menu location in the area which is something I am hoping for in the future.
