Never go there!!! I was charged $10 on my card, without my permission, by the owner to pay for a band that was on stage for only 7 minutes. Then when I asked the owner about it, she said "well too bad, you should have gotten here earlier". The owners are rude and do not care about their customers. I was blown away at how horrible the female owners attitude is. I was there for a total of 15 min and my card was charged $27 dollars with a band that was on stage for a total of 7 min. $10 cover charge for a band that played for 7 min and the owns lady with the ghetto hair took the money off my card without asking me or telling me. Save yourself from entering this ratchet place.

They have a large selection of beer and liquor. It's a large bar so there's normally plenty of room in here and not too overcrowded. Their drinks are a bit over-priced though. The only reason a lot of people come here is because its the only bar open till 2am around here

I'm not ready to say I'm a fan of this place just yet....BUT if you're looking for live music with room to shake your tailfeather then this is one of the limited options in Gonzales...You have Onezia Upscale Lounge with ample room plus I know several of the bars in Gonzales and the surrounding environs book bands I've just not had the pleasure of visiting them yet to comment on room for dancing should the patrons desire... You're gonna pay a cover charge at the door (night I was in I paid $8) and they are mighty proud of their drinks...not sure on beer prices BUT if, like me, you prefer a mixer then be prepared to pony up...$6.50 for a single and $12 for a double....I drink Scotch & Water and I asked the young lady why the price was so stout...was it the water I was being charged for or was it the scotch...She said "Scotch" I said "Then that drink better contain only a splash of water!" Roomy place with a U shaped bar got 3-4 pool tables on your right as you walk in the front door...the dance floor and band stage to your left...also on the left are some permanent built in pub tables with chairs...bathrooms past the pool tables and seemed decent enough...Now they woudln't let me check the Ladies Room so I really can't speak to that!!! They obviously have a kitchen cause I was told by the owner they run a steak night special on Mondays...They must bring in more seating than I saw for that...also after the dinner seating I'm pretty sure they do karaoke on that night...not sure if they do it other nights.... Also, the owner advised me that the cover charge is dependent on the band...no info on why the drink prices were so stiff.... The night I was in they had a good crowd and it was mix from mid-20's to mid-40's and the vast majority of the lovelys in the crowd were easy on the eyes...Can't recall the name of the band, if I ever even knew it, but they did do a helluva rendition of Back That Ass Up!!! In addition to the cover and drink prices the other drawback to this place was noticed as I exited at 2 AM...the local Po Po where circling the parking lot like hungry sharks...kinda makes a guy think twice before wandering in here...I'll probably be back but I really need to get out and do some more exploring first... My husband and I were visiting some friends who live near by and we were looking for a local place to see live music. We found this spot and couldn't be more pleased!! Great drinks, great music and a nice crowd. We look forward to returning to this cool place next time!!

Oh, Park Place has grown up since the last time I visited! The size of the bar had grown with a decent dance floor. I've yet to hear a band here, though I've heard it's great with enough space to shake it! Lots of TVs for watching games and pool tables if your team is losing :) My only complaint is the ventilation is not good, therefore, lots of smoke. I tolerate it for the cheap drinks and friendly bartender Michelle!

This place is off the hook!? Stopped in last Friday and the crowd and music was perfect. Great drinks and super friendly service! Coming back for sure! LSU BABY!! LSU!!! Got the PARK PLACE APP...whaaa?!!! VIP status!!
