in a word....horrible.....service, food quality, food temperature. waited 20 min just to get the bread with a used butter no less. 3 tables across from us had troubles. wrong orders, cold prime rib, wrong salads, you name it, it happened. we called for the manager, and meal was comped, but, it was too late ....the whole experience was a total blowout. don't be fooled by the new exterior, cause this place is falling down from the inside out.

The recently added bone-in ribeye is absolutely amazing and can not be found anywhere else in the area for the price and quality found at Outback. Ask your server for the Tiger Dill sauce (a mixture of horseradish and sour cream) to make the steak even better! Great service and a wonderful staff and a good selection of beers! I always have a great time there!

The parking lot is a mess. It was very nice inside the restaurant and our waitress was very nice. We ordered the blooming onion which I usually enjoy at other places but it was so oily, it made me nauseous. I got the blooming burger before I knew the blooming onion would make me sick and had to take the blooming onion petal off my burger. The burger was great. The sweet potato fries were way to sweet. The stuffed potato soup was amazing. My husband got a crusted steak for $21 and fries. The plate was very plain and they didn't add the horseradish crust like he ordered. His plate did not lol like a $21 steak plate. He enjoyed it though.

We stopped at the Outback in Gonzales last night. It makes a very convenient halfway meeting point to return the grandchildren to their parents. A major benefit is we can have a decent dinner at the same time. It is an Outback restaurant. You know what to expect and it is kids friendly. Complimentary warm wheat bread was followed by appetizers; we had their bloomin` onion and the cheesy fries; all just a shade greasy enough to generate some guilty pleasure . Plenty of carbs. I followed that up with a cheeseburger with fries for my dinner. My wife ordered the fillet salad. Looked great with the lettuce wedge covered with cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, blue cheese crumbles and dressing. The streak strips were cooked as she requested. Very seldom have I left an Outback disappointed with the meal. I may have made a wrong choice trying a new dish that wasn't to my taste, but that is not their fault. Last night the g-kids said the mac & cheese tasted funny (this was after eating the onion and fries). The server overheard, the plate disappeared, and a new one showed up. No questions asked. When I next looked over, the M&C was missing from the plate (and it wasn't on the floor). You're willing to pay a slight premium for service like that.

Dude, it's the Outback...You Know what your gonna get and these folks didn't disappoint...Had the big Ribeye, cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the waiter kept my cocktail full. Went with family on Valentine's Day so it was crowded but got a table toot sweet and even though our waiter was busy we never felt forgotten. To be fair though we are a loud family (Hey must be the Irish in us) and we never let a waiter (No matter where we are at) forget us. Good time with family and I'll be back...

We have had countless problems at this outback. Service is not their top priority. Here is a short list of different problems. 1. Food takes forever and comes out cold 2. Hair in salad 3. Went at 5 pm on a Monday, at least 20 tables empty yet it was a 30 minute wait. 4. Kids entrees super spicy 5. Incorrect order. These all happen on different occasions, but I think we have finally given up on this location.

Went there Sunday the soup was cold the steaks were burned to a crisp, servers never came back to the table, seems like poor mgmt.We used. To love this place before maybe just a off day the hostess was rude and waited a long time to seat us she was everywhere but at her stand! Since we live 40 miles away it is not worth the trip anymore!

For a chain you can't get any better. Everything is made fresh daily and none of the meat is frozen, besides the internationally imported lamb. The food is great and a bargain considering the quality of the food when compared to competition.

Absolutely worst service at any restaurant I have ever been to!!! If I could leave no stars I would....Feb 15 we went for my daughters birthday with about 16-20 people, we were told that we had to wait to be seated until another server arrived to work for this evening. Every plate that came from the kitchen 2 hours after we ordered was either cold or wrong, then to top everything off the manager came to the table to tell us that all the baked potatoes were served to the other people that came and ordered after us. Well after all that we decided to try them a week or two later to see maybe if it was just an off night. My family ordered curb side take away. Well after getting there and paying, the server came back to my vehicle to tell me they were out of ribs. So now I had to change my order and the rest of my food got cold waiting for them to prepare the other dish. So finally the last straw came today when I decided to give them one last try on my way to work. A simple single order, maybe they could get that right. Well after arriving at curbside and waiting 10 minutes no one came to my vehicle, so I walked inside to the bar and stood there 5-10 minutes before anyone approached me to see if I needed help. I finally got my order after approximately 25 minutes, put me hurrying to work. Once I got to work and checked my food the order was completely wrong I ordered a 9oz grilled steak (rare) and shrimp with seasoned rice and salad well I got a 6oz steak (well) and baked potato...SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE GOOD FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!!!

We ordered curbside to go and had an excellent experience. We called ahead about 20 minutes before we pulled up. When we got there we waited maybe three minutes before they brought out our dinner. I always check our order, they've been wrong before, and found it all there. The food was fantastic! Blooming onion, taz crawfish, and crusty bread to start. We split the 22 ounce bone in ribeye- so tender! Also, we had a baked potato and loaded mashed potatoes. Dinner was great! We have no complaints this dining experience.

Got a table once we walked in around 7:15 but didn't get a waiter till 8:00 after repeatedly asking for one. The waiter brought us bread but told us to wait to order drinks for another lady to serve us but another waiter didn't come till 8:25. Then final we got drinks and we order our meal at the same time got our food around 9:30 are left around 10:00 so about a 3 hour experience for ur average steak.

My wife and I gave this place another shot yesterday July 30, 2015. It will be last time I go to this location. The service was horrible!!! We got there about 7 pm. We did not have to wait and was taking straight to a table. Going good so far we thought. Boy were we wrong. However, before we go any further, let say that our waitress Kerstie was great and the service was not her fault. I really feel sorry for her because I know waitress live off the tips. Going on, we arrive at 7 pm ordered a cup of soup and steak meal with shrimp, sweet potato and a side salad. My wife ordered a salad with side of sweet potato. Nothing out of the ordinary. The cup of soup took a while to come out and when it did it was cold. The side salad came out about 8 pm. so it took an hour from the time we sat down and ordered to get the salad. I was looking around and notice people who came in after us have already order, ate and now paying there bill. I also notice a lot of other tables that were given the wrong plates, cold food, and waited just as long as we have. I seen the manager come out countless of times to apologize and give out gift cards. It was about 8:30 pm that I had enough and went to the front to ask for a manager. This was 20min after asking my waitress where was our food and being told it would be out in a minute. The manager came out to talk to me and that time food came out but had the wrong order... The manager said he would make it right. I so frustrated that I was no longer hungry. I told the waitress to box it up and give me the bill. My wife salad had not came out neither so we told her to box that up too. The manager came out to talk to a table next to us because they waited longer than we did and got disgusted and left. They didn't even pay for the food but why should they if they did not eat it. When I got my bill it was for the full price of the meal. I told the manager what the hell.. you charge me full price for a meal that I could not even sit here and enjoy hot.. He start handing my wife gift cards like everyone else. I was so pissed and baffled by how this guy could even be a manager that I did not even count the gift cards or looked at them. I gave it back to him and told him he could keep the gift cards because I would never step foot in this place again. I told him I will pay the whole bill and the waitress in front of me, I told him that it was not her fault this place is poorly ran and that he, the manager, better give Kerstie a good tip out my bill because I was not going to leave one. I hated to do that but if that a-hole was not going to at least discount the bill I was going to do it for him. It was 8:45 when we left. This is without evening eating our meal. Do Not Waste You Time With This Location. Poorly manage!!

Wife was in the hospital at St Elizabeths so ordered curbside and placed the order online. Ordered the sirloin, well done and lobster tail for her. I had the bone in ribeye ordered medium rare with 5 grilled shrimp on the side. Her steak was raw, i mean uncooked inside. The lobster was parboiled and not done. My steak was grisly and rare. The shrimp were undercooked. I called and spoke with the manager who was apologetic and said she'd adjust the bill accordingly. For that im thankful after two days eating hospital food, i tried to treat my wife to a nice dinner.

I went to outback steakhouse last night and when we got there there was about a 30 minute wait. So, we decided to go to the bar and sit have a drink and wait for our table, the bartender was very generous and kept checking on our table so we would know how much longer it would be. We were seated at our table and our waiter was not far behind. We already had our drinks and decided what we wanted to order. I would say our waiter was very unattended and distracted. After waiting for 30 minutes and being seated in the restaurant was not very busy. We sat and waited with no bread and a different waiter brought us our salads. We sat for a while with our salads but had no silverware. My drink order was wrong, which honestly is no big deal. But, I asked the waiter if he wouldn't mind getting me a Dr Pepper, I didn't want to be rude and tell him that my drink was wrong. He proceeded to tell me that he had brought me a Dr Pepper already, so I told him it was a root beer, and that's the way the Dr Pepper tasted but that he would bring me another one anyway. He brought me the Dr Pepper and insisted that it would taste the same, I told him it was 100% better and he didn't look pleased. I have been to this outback many times and I always seem to have mixed feelings when I go. The food is always very good but the service is subpar. Our food came to the table, and I was instantly unimpressed. My steak was very small and an odd shape compared to the other times I have been to this restaurant. I did not want to say anything to the waiter because he already didn't seem pleased to have us as a table. My steak was cooked perfectly but had a lot of gristle, and it was very hard to eat. We also ordered a blooming onion, it was excellent.

This is a worst restaurant I have ever eaten. Everything are extremely salty: the sandwich, the salad, and especially the baked potato as if my whole month salt intake served in one meal. The chef's previous job must be a salt saleman.

I usually like outback and my food was a bit disappointing. The broccoli was over cooked. The steak was okay, but the quality of the meat wasn't very good. I asked for medium rare and got rare. Definitely one of the poorer Outback steak houses that I've been to. I've been to Outback in several different states.

I wish I could give zero stars! Absolutely horrible! Food! Service! Management! Staff! ALL HORRIBLE! 2.5 hours from the time we sat til we got our food, and every order out of 13 was wrong! I will NEVER go back here again! There are too many competitors in the area with great food and service! This place could be successful but will never be until they fire the entire staff starting with kitchen, and start over! Managers don't care what's going on, therefore the rest of the staff doesn't either!

This is where a work team I was on had dinner on the last evening that we were together. We had worked hard for those 2 weeks, had learned a lot for our host and each other, had some good times, and were all looking forward to going Home. And with this Outback Steakhouse location, we had pretty much visited almost every chain restaurant along this I-10 Exit. The best thing about chain restaurants is that you pretty much know what you're getting no matter where you happen to walk in. That can be a comfort when you're far away from Home. This Outback did not disappoint and probably had the best service of the chains that we chose. Actually, a British colleague thought our waiter was a little intrusive, but maybe that was a cultural thing. Another thing I like about Outback is that they have light choices and everything doesn't have to start (or end) with a 'Bloomin' Onion'. My Outback wish list? Offer some local micro-brews instead of settling for Sam Adams.
