This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is casual, clean, inviting & family friendly. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful & I loved it.

Took the family for lunch. I ordered Philadelphia Roll, Eel avocado roll, and fresh salmon roll, husband ordered ikura roll and teriyaki shrimp, daughter got tempura chicken. The salad was great, I LOVED the dressing! Miso soup was really good too. Husband was really disappointed with his teriyaki shrimp, he said they were cold and the fried rice that came with it was dry and flavorless. He was happy with his ikura roll, though. I liked the sushi, the Philadelphia Roll has a little too much cheese in it. Daughter got a lot of food! She got clear soup, salad, chicken tempura, snow crab roll, fried rice, and orange slices. She seemed to like it all, didn't really touch the rice. Our server was very nice and attentive. Over all, lots of food for your money, but the food isn't phenomenal, but the service is really good.

Fantastic sushi. Rarely busy which is a shame. Great service. Great location. Chef usually sends a nice sliced piece of fruit after dinner or a new appetizer which is lovely.

Great service! But cheap ingredients for their rolls! It wasn't worth the calories I ate. I ate here bc of the reviews I read from a few days ago, but man I was disappointed.

With all the sushi places popping up in the Baton Rouge Metro area, this restaurant far exceeds even the top dollar sushi restaurants in Downtown Baton Rouge. The atmosphere here is friendly and inviting. The staff is prompt and make it very easy for first time sushi eaters to order. If you have a specific taste, custom sushi rolls are welcomed and may even be added to the menu (ask for the Cody Roll :-P). You definitely get the bang for your buck. We eat here about 4 or 5 times a month. I highly recommend it...

Decided to try Ikura for the first time and would repeat the visit. I had the shushi plate and it was fresh and had good flavor. One piece had WAY too much wasabi on it...so much that it completely burned my nostrils, throat, and water did not even help, so that particular one was a bit unbalanced in flavor. We received great service, the staff was friendly, and they even provide warm scented towels before your meal to clean your hands. It's worth the visit for good sushi and a variety of Chinese meals.

Every time we come here the service is above and beyond. The sushi is always well prepared. I have two little ones and they always tell me never to stress over the mess. Excellent management.

I'm so disappointed. The menu reads so well that I could hardly wait to get a lot of it! I ordered online and got excellent service at the drive thru. But I chose wrong. Cali roll was okay but not traditional. (Was similar so I think I got what I ordered.) The serving of duck was very generous but so dry that I could not chew or swallow a great deal of it. (Dryer than jerky.) It had obviously been around a while and had dried out. Despite the excellent service, nice personnel, and ease of ordering and pick up, I don't expect to go back.
