I like this bar.... open 7 days a week from 7 A.M. until.... sometimes it's busy and sometimes its slow... but damn it's pretty much always open...looks like a stiff wind or the Big Bad Wolf could blow this cinder block built joint down... The door farthest to your right when facing the front of the building sticks so that you gotta yank it to open and slam it to close.... Drinks are stiff and they run $5 CASH... it's cramped around the bar itself but opens up away from the bar enough for a little dance floor that can probably hold about 10 couples with a pool table next to the dancing area... Good selection on the jukebox and some nights they have karaoke... The folks I've met in my times stopping in have seemed like pretty good salt of the earth kinda people... just a bunch of good ol' boys and girls looking for decently priced booze and a good time... Maybe a coupla tables scattered around the dance area but it seems like all seating is centered at the bar....Rebel flag hanging on a wall, smoky, dark, cramped... kinda what you see in your mind's eye when the phrase Louisiana dive bar is uttered... I like the place and I'll be stopping in again....
