Adorable little place that serves flavorless burgers, dry roast beef sandwiches and bitter latte's and espresso. The girl behind the counter was very sweet and helpful.. but was condescending with all of her "hun's" and "sweetie's". Nothing drives me more crazy than a stranger calling me sweatheart or honey.

4 of us played the Opera House the night before and decided to hit this place up before we left town. We thought we'd just get coffee and go but when we walked in we were captured by the charm of this place. So we ordered lunch and sat down to enjoy a great meal. I had the Club Sandwich, my friends had the Chicken Fingers, Spinach Salad, and burger. All were fantastic!

Really like the ambience of this place - lots of dark wood and muted lighting, 50s-style fans hanging from the ceiling, background music was Sarah McLachlin-ish. The staff was pleasant. Husband said his decaf Americano was great (he never orders brewed decaf because he's afraid it won't be fresh). I had a brewed decaf (with chocolate syrup), which was only lukewarm, so, minus one star for that. Also had a (free) cup of ice water - big and with a fresh lemon wedge it was perfect. Prices are comparable to Starbucks. I would come here again if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

Staying at the Days Inn on I10. Looked up a place to go for breakfast and glad we found Joppe. A nice meal accompanied by a couple good coffee drinks. Friendly service from the one lady working the whole front. Worth the three mile drive from freeway.

great food, very nice & friendly staff. super down south hospitality and free wifi the hamburgers were large and great. And yes even the buns were excellent. i am not sure how they fix the large hamburger pattie and still be perfectly cooked. would recommend it to anyone. It was the trip to venture off of I-10.

Never been here before but stopped in for lunch and had the chicken strips (came with fries, toast, and gravy. I was surprised at how fast the service was and how good the food was. I would recommend this place to anyone. By the way, the tea was excellent. Did not have any negatives.
