Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

The change in ownership has not been an improvement in food or service. I'm sitting in a sticky booth wondering if they fired the cleaning crew. The biggest disappointment is that they are serving premade bagged tortilla chips and doctored canned salsa! Have you no shame?

Appitizer: I ordered the white queso dip and it was watery. Entree: Chile rellenos, all it really was was a plate of greasy cheese. The cheese covered the whole plate! Really disappointed

First time back in a while. Service was very friendly! Food was decent but not as good as in the past. But I was very surprised at how dirty it was. That's not something I've ever encountered there before. Everything needs a good wipe down and dusting.

Fantastic place! We walked in with seven people on a Saturday night and were immediately seated. Our server, Colleen, took our drink orders, handled our special food requests and checked on us through out our visit. She was terrific! The food was excellent. You HAVE try the chili con Carnegie sauce. It goes with everything. My burritos was stuffed with perfectly seasoned and smothered with the chili con farmer sauce. The rice was tasty. However the refried beans were runny with no whole beans. Good flavor but poor consistency. Everyone completely enjoyed their meals and the serving were big enough to cause several "to go" boxes to leave with us. Overall, this place was excellent based on the food and service. If you're in the area, stop by for some top-notch Mexican meals.

Today (Oct 22, 2013) I stopped here after work and purchased a large (16oz) salsa, chips, and guacamole to go. When I got home, I poured some of the salsa into a serving dish & saw something small & black...I thought it was pepper or cilantro at first, but then I saw WINGS. It was a small FLY. I was grossed out & called the restaurant to let them know. Bugs in food is not acceptable & I'll never eat there again. This was the last straw at this place!

First impression of a Mexican Restaurant are the chips and salsa. What we got at our tables were chips that had soaked in grease. They were so soggy they were chewy. I thought at first it was a joke. We asked for another batch and these were edible. Bad start . . . . . Entre's were almost as bad. Flautas's were over cooked - any of us that got chicken were disappointed as it was way over cooked. Just a bad meal. I would give them one star but the queso dip and salsa was actually not bad. Maybe the cook was out sick . . . . . . I would pass this place up and keep going.

We liked this place when it first opened but were not as pleased on our last visit. The food tasted processed and not fresh. Perhaps it was a bad night. We will try again to see. Either way, it is just another run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Not great, just ok.

Wonderful. Queso dip is typical white goat cheese at other Mexican restaurants. Food was fresh, asthetically pleasing, and typical. Not unique, but good. Quite yummy.
