La Jaes is a catering place on the Westbank that is affordable and delivers, something that I've found almost impossible to come by. I ordered lunch for a recent work retreat after searching for a place that would deliver to English Turn. I ordered the baked catfish fillets, lemon pepper chicken, baked macaroni, and a garden salad. I ordered each item in size small and it was more than enough to feed 10 people. All of the food was pretty tasty. I asked for the food to be delivered at 11:30am and the doorbell rang at exactly 11:30am. The timeliness was appreciated. There is a delivery fee of $20 to locations on the Westbank and $30 to locations on the Eastbank. Including the delivery fee and taxes, the lunch cost a total of $160; pretty reasonably priced compared to other comparable food selections. If you are looking for a catering place that is well priced, offers a variety of homestyle food, and delivers to the Westbank, La Jaes is the place.
