*Update* Easily my favorite Sushi place in Baton Rouge. I really wish more people knew about this place because it is always deserted when I visit. My favorite dinner rolls (2 for $40 special) are LSU Roll, Tom's Roll. Alaskan Roll, Bonsai Roll, and Acadiana Roll.

I am a constant visitor of Ginza. I love their sushi, and the service is awesome as well. My sushi is always freshly made to order. They also serve an awesome pineapple saki! the customer service is excellent as well. They also have hibachi tables in the rear area. I have tried it before, it's ok...... They seem to have a shortage on chefs, but other than the wait, it's worth it if you don't want to go to one of the busier hibachi restaurants in town.

I give this one 3 stars, not for the quality of food (it is fantastic) but for the online ordering. I placed my order for the lunch special and requested that it come with no mayonnaise. They did not understand this, so they deleted the cream cheese instead. Hopefully next time it will be better.

Arrived late in the evening, only about 40 minutes before closing time. Nevertheless, everything was fantastic, fresh and beautiful. This was the first place I had sushi in BR in 1999 (as kamados) and it's refreshing to know their quality has stayed top notch. Had 3 rolls and 2 appetizers, all amazing.

Good service, nice ambience, but not a huge fan of the food. My rolls needed more flavor and the chicken app was very dry. Wouldn't return

Bottom line: Excellent taste and very well-priced. I ordered the Okinawa roll (yellowtail, tuna, salmon, crab), giant clam, sweet shrimp, scallop, escolar, and salmon egg nigiri (sushi). all items were extremely fresh. there was nothing with a fishy or old taste. the portions were generous and the rice was good quality and just the right amount. i was most impressed the sweet shrimp and giant clam. the sweet shrimp came with the fried heads and they were the biggest and freshest in town. the flesh was crisp and sweet. the giant clam i was surprised was not fishy at all. it was also very fresh and the taste was excellent. the sushi chef also did something nice - he added 2 extra pieces on the house because he felt they were smaller pieces than the other sushi. the roll was excellent as well. it was chock full fresh fish and was very refreshing. i highly recommend this place. IMO it is the 2nd best in town overall... a close second to Sushi Yama in terms of quality and creativity of the menu. but the price is definitely better.
