This is good but it's the same as Jimmy Johns but hot.

I am in the minority by saying that I do not like this place. When I walked in, no one greeted me. The cashier acted real condescending and bugging her eyes out as if I was talking to her in an alien language. The manager was just as anti-social as his employees. I went for Father's day to get a sub for myself and my dad. She tried to give me just one sub until I corrected her. She tried to give an attitude but I stood my ground by showing her that I wasn't afraid of her. I had forgotten to get my chips, so I had to return to get that. And the manager acted real attitudinal about it. The sub was trash just like them. Sorry, do not recommend!

I've eaten here before but today I was extra hungry and munched out like a lion eatin' a big hog!!! 103 degrees hot outside. A cool 72 in here. I ate the Hawaiian Pork & Slaw sandwich combo for only $8.68. The soda machine is awesome and if I were rich I'd have one at home. Ice COLD Strawberry Lemonade. YUMMM...

Mmm Mmm Mmm. Always wanted to try this place! Today was the day and I was not disappointed! Their bread is yummy and warm and toasted to perfection. Plenty of meat but not too much. I am a fan of a good club sandwich and the Club on a Sub made my sandwich dreams come true. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff. In and out! What more do you want from lunch? Firemen, I salute you.

So if I let my husband write this review it would be a 10 star.... But let's get real... I'll for sure give this a 4. It was clean, great location-super easy to get to(and its Baton Rouge so like that's never said), and service was fantastic! An upscale Quiznos is how I can best describe this sandwich shop. The variety of sandwiches are pretty standard with your turkey, roast beef, ham and don't get me wrong they get pretty fancy with your Italian sub, philly beef cheesy sandwich, pulled pork Hawaiian sandwich too. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and that's really why it's not a 5 star... It didn't taste that great, and I'm sure it wasn't rubber but almost slightly resembled and tasted as it if it was..but my husband still raves about his Italian sub and all his other times he has visited. I do have to say the Italian sub was pretty impressive and filled him up! The prices were pretty reasonable there so I might try it again if I was ever forced to choose btwn either a Quiznos, subway or firehouse subs. If your trying to watch your girly figure they have a whole side of the menu dedicated to 500calories or less!

The HOOK & LADDER! Try it - it steals the show! Always happy in this place I swear! Great food , prepared hot and fresh ! The quality of food found here is second to none, well maybe to jimmy john's but I couldn't find one of those

I first had firehouse subs up north. When I found out Baton Rouge got one I was ecstatic. Quality sandwiches for low prices. If your guy in the area and Don't know what you're hungry for definitely give firehouse subs a try!

So glad this place opened near my office. It beats Subway, in quality, service, and atmosphere. (Subway's decor just feels dated and depressing. Actually, so does the food) When I walk into Firehouse, I get an enthusiastic greeting from at least one, usually several employees. When I'm placing my order, the employees are engaging and friendly. Subway employees, by contrast, generally seem like they hate being there. (Also, napkins aren't as hard to come by at Firehouse. I don't get Subway's napkin hording policy at all). At the end of the day, I'm not sure how much all of that matters, though. After all, you're just there to grab a sandwich, right? Right. So the sandwiches are better, too. A lot better. Is it as good as an authentic old school deli or sandwich shop? Nope. It's a franchise. But as franchised sandwich shops go, it's the best I've come across. My go-to is the Italian, but the Hook&Ladder and the Meatball are also outstanding. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

This place was immaculate. Like someone from the military cleaned it(or maybe someone from a firehouse). My sub was definitely better than subway and cheaper too. I also like the selection of hotsauces. They label them 1-10. Obviously 1 being for babies and 10 being for real men.

Pretty neat little place that is cleaner than my house. If I lived a little closer I would probably go regularly. I loved that they had like 40 hot sauces to choose from. They have the cool drink machine that lets you add different flavors to your drink. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. Brownies by the register were pretty freakin good too.

I've been here four times now. I've had the meatball three times and the New York Steamer once. The meatball sub is incredible and the New York Steamer is also very good. If you are looking for a fast casual sub, Firehouse does a damn good job.

1st time trying Firehouse and I gotta say I was impressed! Had a half of a Beef & Chedder and a half of The Hero sub. The Beef & Chedder was the highlight. The brisket was better than I expected from a sub place and the sauce on it goes perfectly. The Hero was good but basic. That was fine with me b/c I knew that when I ordered it. I saw the Steak & Cheese on someone elses plate and considered a hit and run. Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome!!! I love this place, it puts Subway and quiznos to shame. No matter what sandwich you pick, you can't go wrong. I have yet to eat anything here that was even average...everything has been very tasteful and fresh, way above your average sandwich shop.

Food is consistently fantastic every time I go. My order is always correct, food is fresh, staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Easily the best sandwich chain in Baton Rouge. Other places seem cheap or bland in comparison. Oh, and you'll see the owner working there among the staff regularly, which is a good sign.

Eaten there twice since it opened. Great smoked turkey sandwich - the large is so big two people can share it! So glad to see this franchise in Baton Rouge. I have been to them in other states and always had great meals!

I've tried this place a few times now and have been impressed at the quality. Each sandwich has come out fresh with good quantities of meat and fresh vegetables. I've never had one that seemed skimpy or poor quality. The employees have been super friendly each time. I've been greated at the door every time. I assumed it was a fluke the first time, but have been greated again and again. I like it better than Subway or Jimmy Johns because there's more meat on the sandwich than either of those restaurants. By the way...love the HUGE selection of hot sauces....great touch for the firehouse subs.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I usually get the Hook'n Ladder on Wheat and it's fantastic. You can't go wrong with any sandwich you choose. Plus, at this location, they have one of those drink machines that allows you to mix your drinks (i.e., coke with vanilla flavor, etc.). Makes things more interesting. Yum!
