Our waiter knew the menu very well. He was attentive and accommodating. Then the food was outstanding. We had the Sea Bass best I've ever had, service was great. I cant wait for a reason to go back!

Probably the best lamb I have ever eaten! The service was superb. We had a gluten free guest, vegan guest and soy free guest with us. Can't believe chef was able to accommodate all of us! Wonderful ambience , terrific evening!!!

I loved it when it was Henry's and I love it even more as Anoosh. Excellent service from all involved. Our waiter was so kind with a huge smile and great sense of humor. He made my mom feel special on her 88th birthday my 88 year old dad could hear every word on the special entree description. My husband and I were more than pleased and only a block from parents home. THANKS SO MUCH:).

Becoming my favorite place in Louisville . Wow, the chilled soup last night and the fresh Mahi tuna flown in from Hawaii melted in you mouth . We decided to eat at the bar and was served wonderfully . A must try if you want some cutting edge cuisines ! Bravo !! Can't wait until they open up their new restaurant !
FANTASTIC! The food was delicious. I very much enjoyed the Manhattan crab chowder. I also had the portobello mushroom, swiss, and asparagus sandwich on ciabatta with red pepper aioli. The food was fresh and tasty. The ambiance was elegant and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I love when chefs come out to greet their patrons, and chef Anoosh did just that. Dessert was light and fluffy, very tasty. Coming from Los Angeles, parking is always an issue and it was so pleasant and easy to find a spot and walk right in. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be going back.

My visit to Anoosh Bistro was spectacular from start to finish. We were greeted by a friendly, professional staff that was well-versed and knew the menu from top to bottom. First champagne, followed by a tasty seared tuna appetizer and a bisque. For my entree, I had the seafood cioppino, which was out of this world. Dinner was followed by a wonderful, delicious coconut cake that came with a beautiful presentation. Chef Anoosh came out to greet us personally, and no one left without a smile on their face.

Amazing! Every part of our experience at Anoosh's Bistro tonight was amazing. The food - top notch! I had the prime rib and was able to substitute the spinach for potatoes, it was excellent. Cocktails and wine were great! Dessert was awesome! I cannot have sugar so they were able to customize a dessert to fit my needs! The only thing better then the meal was the service. It was out of this world. Our server himself, Matt, did a great job. The chef/owner came to our table multiple times. We were also greeted by multiple other staff members during our visit. I will be coming back next time I am in Louisville!

I have been multiple times, and it is always excellent! Probably one of the best restaurants in town. They get it right! From the cocktails, to the apps, to the specials, to the menu entrees - très bien! Deniz, the General Manger does an excellent job in suggesting wine pairings...please to not shy from asking him. That's what he loves to do! So far my favs are the beet salad, lamb shank and whatever seafood special they have. Run don't walk...oh you might want to call ahead for a reservation :)

My wife and I went to Anoosh Bistro for Valentines day this year and it was perfect! It's my experience that no matter how tauted a restaurant is, the kinks always show themselves on high volume days but this was an exception! We were met with a smile, had our jackets checked and were taken to our seats almost immediately. Their Valentine's day Pre Fixe menu was perfect! We had the crab cake as an appetizer and it may be the best I've ever had... I'm still craving them months later! I had the filet (medium - don't judge :p) and it was served rare so I asked them to throw it on the grill for just a few minutes more. They were more than accommodating and actually replated the entire meal - they apologized profusely which was completely unnecessary; I waited tables to pay for college so I understand these things happen - esp on high volume nights. Just a tiny oversight that they make right on the spot. The manager also came over to check on us and I was more than happy to tell him everything was perfect and thank him for checking on us. My wife and I had a great time and I don't consider an undercooked steak a reason to complain or dock a star for a review. I really enjoyed the experience, service, drinks and most especially the food. If you're wanting an upscale experience, I'd highly recommend Anoosh!

Nice place. There's not a lot of choices for a sit down meal in the area so this is a welcome addition. The vibe is very cool and the music they were playing was awesome. They bring crackers with a cheese spread when you sit down and that always fun. The food was good and our server was super nice. There is a nice bar area that looks like it could be fun. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Spectacular! Can we give 10 stars? The food is amazing, simple yet complex-- prepared with creativity and talent. The staff is stellar, this place is very special. Love it! I enjoyed the home made Pate and cheese plate, it was perfection.

Fantastic! My wife and I are always open to trying a new restaurant. There was a slight hesitation due to its location being next to a veterinary office and an older strip mall (with Louisville's best hardware store, Brownsboro Hardware). Once you walk inside, the setting and style was very contemporary, metro. We were thrown a little bit by one of the hostess wearing a chartreuse, yellow dress with black lace stockings. As side from that, the rest of the staff was professionally dressed. Our waiter, Lane (a Sullivan University Culinary Arts graduate), was very knowledgable about the menu, specials, and recommendations for wine pairings. His choice of the Franciscan Cabernet was a bull's eye for our evening. We chose to have all five cheeses for our cheese selections. All were wonderful. We both had bibb salads. One of the best we have ever had. My wife chose the crab cakes for her appetizer. I tasted it. I am very critical about crab cakes. I am not a gourmet, but I feel that Anoosh Bistro can proudly serve its crab cakes to any seafood gourmet. I chose the appetizer special of the evening, the rib meat and scallop. I like rib meat and I like scallops, but I did not expect them to be such a good combination for an appetizer. My wife's entree was the vegetable risotto. The taste was very flavorful. Its texture and sauce for the vegetables was a wonderful combination. I ordered the filet. For starters, this was not a small filet. It was a very generous barrel-cut filet. I have never had a more perfect, medium-rare cooked filet. I cannot complement the cut of meat and chef's preparation of it. The dessert menu looked good, but at this point, we were not hungry. Through dinner, we discussed which of our foodie friends that we wanted to bring with us when we come back. We are looking forward to the next time we can have such a great dining experience. Please add Anoosh Bistro to your list of "Must Go To" for dining.

A first visit and many positive points but enough concerns that we are unlikely to go back. Much money and time have been spent in the refit that makes this a great eating space and a nice bar to hang out at. Service was efficient and attentive, the welcome was genuine and warm and it's the right size to make for an intimate and comfortable evening. Starter salads (mine was a beet salad) we good if a little over dressed and the scampi pomodoro had excellent flavor, particularly the sauce which had picked up the blackened shrimp/grill glamour so well. Now the issue - Value. Firstly I think any restaurant that does not show prices on its web page menu should be treated with suspicion; that was borne out in a number of ways. The not over large salads were in the $12 - $14 range, my shrimp and pasta main was $28 and had 4 shrimp; I felt badly duped and lastly wine is closely measured out, no free pour, and looks small and lost in the glasses. I know the restaurant business and am familiar with ingredient prices and margins and Anoosh is aiming (much) too high to build a loyal and regular fan base. We enjoyed but will not return; who wants to feel they are being taken advantage of?

I had, probably, the best meal in Louisville last night. There were 7 people in our party and all of us were impressed. While five of the seven of us started with the beet salad (wonderful) not one of us had the same entree - and each was equally impressed. I can personally vouch for the Danish scampi! The shrimp was grilled to perfection, the sauce was buttery but light, there was a delightful surprise of a vinegary, tiny pepper (I had to ask to find out what they were) served on a perfectly cooked cavatapi. I couldn't resist dessert (I'm a sucker for bread pudding). This one was made with white chocolate with a fabulous berry puree. Everything was amazing - I can't wait to go back!!

One of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had! My mom, wife, and 2 young children all loved this place. They were hopping busy on a Friday night, but the courtesy and attentiveness of the staff made us feel like we were the only table there. The food was amazing! My kids devoured the beef short ribs and the Cioppino was off the charts. It was, IMHO, impossible to find anything about Anoosh not to like. You will not be disappointed!!

I saw the good reviews on Yelp and decided it was worth a try. I ordered the beet salad and crab sliders. The beet salad, if you're into that kinda thing, was incredible. There was a ton of flavor and plenty of texture variety. I would definitely order that again. The crab sliders could have had a little more depth of flavor, although they're perfect if you're looking for the crab taste. I did not have dessert. The ambiance had a good feel and the manager/owner came over and chatted for a bit.

My wife an I went for my birthday and they did not disappoint. Wow! First off the service is amazing. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and obviously knew the menu very well. He was attentive and accommodating. Then the food was outstanding. We had the grilled romaine salad and the sweet potato soup for starters and they were both excellent. I then had the evening scallop special and it was AMAZING! Dessert was equally delicious but I will remember the scallops for the rest of my life. The only disappointment I have is that this is the first time I've ever been here and I may never be able to eat scallops again for fear they won't ever be this good! My wife and I will for sure be back soon and often.

We had a most amazing experience. Leo Mayfield was an EXCEPTIONAL server. Our cioppino was better than what we get in SFO--- perfectly cooked & making us forget we are in a land-locked state. Our bottle of Carne Humana was a perfect pairing we lucked out on on choosing.

Wow! Delicious food. Dinner for four, and we all tried different things. A special beet salad with goat cheese was so delicious, beets were sweet. Ciopinno was really great, loaded with seafood perfectly cooked and the Danish scampi was spicy in a delicious sauce with pasta. The chicken with linguini tasted light in a lemon caper sauce. Another dish was the vegetable risotto. Large chunks of squash, avocado and many other veggies with delicious risotto. The bread and cheese sauce is crazy good. Fantastic meal!! I will be back. Maybe in two days!

How did I not know about this place...! Out shopping and went longer than planned so decided to do an unplanned date night with the wife. Yelped for a good place and found Anoosh was new and had a few nice reviews so decided to give it a try. So glad we did as this place is great. (although we were a little under dressed for a Saturday night date night dinner as we were mall shopping and the other guest were wearing blazers and dresses.) We were met at the door by the hostess (and owners daughter). We did not have a reservation so sat at the bar and had a few drinks for 20 minutes waiting for a table to open up. The bartender is one of the best I have seen. I used to bartend thru college so I appreciate a good bartender. Once seated the waiter told us the specials. She got the special, Sea Bass, and I got the lamb shank. Outstanding! We had dessert of the bread pudding and the creme brulé. Awesome! The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The chef thanked us for coming at the door as we departed. A great date night dinner. We are definitely coming back, just better dressed.
