Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Service was good and fast. The food however was mediocre. The soup and pasta dish were bland and the decor a little on the worn side.

I lived in Richmond for 10 years and loved it when Olive Garden opened. They are one of the best of the chain I have been that has best food and cleanliness. They have best calamari around. I have a hard time trying new things though because I love the chicken parmigiana so much. Food is always so fresh. Salad is to die for.

Was not extremely satisfied with my overall experience at Olive Garden today. We went in for lunch which was not busy at all so were sat in t he bar area with no wait. The hostess sat us and immediately took our drink order which was nice. Unfortunatelly there was only 1 server in the area which was the bartender and 4 tables and she was also currently taking togo orders. Once she finished it took 20 minutes to get our appetizer but we never received our salad and breadsticks which we had to ask for, that was a first for me. The table next to us was struggling to get their items as well. I definitely do not blame the bartender but it seemed the kitchen could not get themselves together and the managers did not seem interested enough to help them out. We walked through the restaraunt to see how busy it was but to our surprise there wasn't many customers in the building. Once again, not satisfied today but maybe next time olive garden. BTW, download beep'n'go to your phone and there is a coupon for olive garden, a free appetizer with 2 entrees.

This "is what it is" a popular chain restaurant. However, it is new to Richmond so it adds some variety to a pretty limited selection. If you are looking for a place to eat off of I-75 at Exit 87, this is an OK choice. It is new and clean. I've eaten there several times for lunch and it is what you would expect from this type of place.

I went to Olive Garden restaurant in Richmond, KY on a "dress up date" with my boyfriend on a Friday evening. The parking lot was nearly completely filled with vehicles! We went inside to find that we had a 20 minute wait for a table which was not bad at all considering the people swarming around the area. After the wait we were seated and a very nice waitress took our orders. We were given a large bowl of delicious and crisp salad as well as a basket of tasty and well seasoned bread sticks while waiting for our orders. I ordered ravioli stuffed with mushrooms (the name escapes me) and he asked for the Tour de Italy. It was only a few minutes before our food was brought to us and it was great! Each plate was presented well and the food was exquisite. The place was clean, well lit, and had an expensive aura about it but the food was reasonably priced. I can understand why it was so popular that evening!

Same as other Olive Gardens, but this one is new (2010) and therefore very clean. Close to I-75.

If i could give this anything less than a 1 star I would. I ordered a pasta dish and it was absolutely burnt completely up as well as my partners dish was awful as well. I've been to several different olive gardens and they weren't this bad. Maybe this was just a bad day for them. But when eating out somewhere for the first time the first impression really matters so safe to say we haven't been back since and won't go again because 2 burnt dishes are inexcusable.

Soup salad and breadsticks are hard to beat for lunchtime choice. The fact that it is unlimited is a great value. It you don't care for one you can order a different one to try. Salads have just right amount of everything. Even when you ask for extra tomatoes like we do. If you don't like dish you order they are very good to replace it for you and manager really listens to what you particularly disliked. Other people than your wisteria or waitress are willing to help you also.

Food was delicious but our order was confused and we had to wait a bit for our check.
