Pretty tasty for a small town buffet joint. We've tried a couple different places around here but we always come back here. Foods pretty tasty. Some times they can be slow at replacing empty items but that's been less then a handful of times.

Clean place, nice employees, and the food is good. Best Asian restaurant/buffet in the area. My 5 year old daughter loves the vegetable dishes and will eat all her green food! :-)

Although I haven't been to a lot of the buffets in the area yet I would give this a 3.5 as well. The price was good. I was really hungry when I got there but either I have a small stomach or they offer too many options ;p I felt they offered a decent variety. I was surprised that I couldn't find Orange Chicken on the buffet options. They have a sit down option too but it looks like most people were there for the buffet. Their hours are good as I got there a bit late in the evening but the food didn't seem like it had been sitting out for too long. I was impressed by the fact that they didn't put out huge portions of food on the buffet so I think that helps keep their price decent and avoids wasting. I didn't get to try as much as I'd like too... I'll have to come back when I'm completely starving...LOL! The fried rice did look different but it tasted good to me :) I definitely plan on going again.

I've always been a huge fan of Chinese buffets - not so much the fact I can gorge myself, but that I can sample a wide range of different foods at an affordable price. I had tried the Family Buffet in Elizabethtown, but found the food selection mediocre at best (and at $11, fairly overpriced). Lunch at this buffet certainly did not disappoint. While not expansive in the selections, the offerings here were fresh and tasted as such. Service was prompt and courteous. It was very unassuming and was exactly what I was looking for: good, fresh, hot food at a fair price ($8 for a lunch meal, plus drink).

I stopped by this restaurant in Radcliff because I was just at the Chase bank across the street, and I was famished at the time. A buffet seemed like something that would hit the spot. The owner immediately took notice of my Asian appearance and asked me whether I was Chinese. We conversed briefly in Mandarin before he gestured toward the many trays of food lying in wait. I liked this place because despite being a buffet, its food was all roughly on par with what you might normally expect at a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. I was only able to get two plates of food before I was full, though, perhaps due to all the grease. Normally, I fill up at least three plates at buffets, but this time I didn't have room for desserts. None of it was bad, and especially considering how cheap the lunch buffet was ($6.50), it's probably worth another visit sometime.

Another TDY at Knox, another place to try out. I was actually going to Adobe Mexican next door, but it has sadly closed. I almost made it out of the parking lot before I said "what the hell, let's try the buffet out". Good call as it turned out. The inside is light and CLEAN. Bonus score there. Food was good as a Cantonese buffet ever is (yes Jason W... Calling out your silly one review...). Here is to this place continuing to make it. Radcliff needs you.

I personally love coming here to eat! The people are always very friendly, refill your drinks promptly, and the place is clean. I have never smelled anything foul in the all the times I have come here. They only put out small amounts of food at a time. I think to try and keep things fresh and to also cut down on waste when it's not during lunch or dinner times. But, if something is empty or by some chance gotten old all you have to do is ask and they will make it. And because it is a buffet, once in awhile you will get people who ruin it for others and take everything so ppl have to wait for more. When they have sushi it is really fresh/good and I especially love the peanut butter chicken!!! It may not be Chinese but, it is amazing and you def won't find this anywhere else!! The take out is really good too! The portions are large and always freshly cooked!!

So, this place is just not good. Food is just ok and not good enough to make up for the god awful smell. The second you walk in the door the smell of poor hygiene hits you. Just keep driving down the road.

Service is friendly and quick. Beverage refills were regular, polite, and appreciated. Buffet is labeled, mostly, small quantity, and fresh-ish, but there aren't any surprises here. Most dishes are on the bland side, and definitely (entirely) Americanized. There are a fair number of items that aren't even Chimerican, but just heavily fried blah blah blah (Fried donuts/buns? Fried cheese? Fried creamed corn? Really?). Not a lot of straight veg in this spot, and the red vat of gloppy "sweet and sour" sauce is as big or bigger than anything else on offer . I'm not entirely sure why any restaurant needs an entire buffet full of jello of various colors, but, um. whatever. Ate here for office lunches bc a colleague liked - not terrible, but not worth a special effort.

It has been almost 10 years since my wife & I have eaten at an Asian buffet. After tasting the food there, I won't be venturing out to another one for probably another 10 years. As others have noted, the staff are super nice. Very polite & totally on top of their game with prompt service, plate clearing, drink refilling etc. The food is unbelievably bland & generic. I'm guessing that a lot of their food offerings are bought frozen from a third party. We ate here at dinner time & yes, they did have crab legs. Unfortunately for everyone interested in trying them, a family of dubious etiquette decided that they were going to eat their considerable body weight in said legs. The father(shirt covered in crab remains) would stand guard over the food pan & then promptly empty it onto his plate when it got refilled by the staff, even though there were other people lined up to get some themselves!! Apparently, this had been going on for three hours!!! Really? The waitresses were powerless to stop them, apparently out of politeness to a guest. The food was like extremely bad food court fare. There was just no Asian authenticity about any of it, flavor wise(am I eating beef, chicken or pork? You wouldn't know if your eyes were closed). The only redeeming dish in the entire restaurant was the apple pie(log shaped) which was fresh & not too sweet. There is really no reason to eat here at all, unless you have no idea what real Chinese food tastes like & just want to eat until you pop in an explosion of rubberized meat. FYI, there is very good Chinese food at the food court at St Matthews Mall(on the left hand side of the eating area). We were very surprised by the quality & great flavor of their selection. I highly recommend it.

OK, this is Radcliff, right? Not Los Angeles....so, what do people really expect from a Chinese buffet here? Really? I have been to two Asian buffets in Radcliff; the Asian on Dixie Highway and Golden China on Lincoln Trail. After sampling both, based on the area and the price, I give Golden China 4 stars. The workers are kind and service is quick. The selection of foods, while not truly 100% Chinese (it's westernized), is palatable and quite good. The rice dishes, mushrooms, vegetables and egg rolls I had were great and very fresh. The cook who normally prepares the "coconut shrimp" dish for the dinner buffet, remembered that my wife enjoyed it and prepared a special order for her at lunchtime. All in all, this is a clean, good tasting Chinese buffet in Radcliff, so if you want some simple Chinese food an you are pressed for time or on a budget, this place is perfect. I will definitely be going back.

*3.5 I would say this is one of the best american chinese buffets I've been to. I went a couple of weeks ago with my coworkers for dinner and was really surprised at all the variety. There were the regular items such as gen. tso's chicken, sweet n sour chicken, broccoli beef etc, but they also had crab legs, frogs legs, and other legs...haha just kidding. They have cocktail shrimp, salad, fruit, vegetables, everything you look for in a Chinese buffet. The only gross thing is the fried rice, it's all yellow..idk if it's cuz they add saffron or what, but I don't get it. The workers and owners are all very nice and they clean up old plates and refill drinks promptly. I wanna go back!

I give this place 5 stars. We eat there all of the time but mostly lunch time. The people are nice and it is clean. The food is always stocked and hot. Great place to eat and enjoy your meal.

I think the three-star ratings are unjustified for this chinese buffet. It's one of the best I've visited and I've been to many dozens. I'll be honest: Golden Buffet is best during the lunch hour as it is so busy that the food is *always* hot and fresh. It's still decent at supper, but not as hot, not as fresh. Supper is also more expensive because they put crab legs and prime rib out. The range of food varieties is outstanding. Try it for lunch, you'll love it.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
