My husband and I, along with friends visiting in town, have eaten at Thyme at least 5 times in the past few months, and each time has been amazing. The bruschetta is a great starter, with fresh tomatoes. The chicken sandwich is huge, and very tasty. My personal favorite is the salmon salad, which comes on a large bed of spinach, with fresh berries, pecans, and goat cheese. Absolutely delicious! The service can be a teeny bit slow at times, but I promise you the food makes it worth it. Tip: Go on a Friday or Saturday, and enjoy live music on the patio! Guaranteed to be a great time!

The fried chicken sandwich is so so good. The chicken is juicy and the breading is really well seasoned. I got a side of mashed potatoes which was a bit disappointing but I added ranch and salt which made it better. Speaking of the homemade ranch, it was extremely delicious. I stole a few sweet potato fries from my sister and they were far better than the potatos. Many restaurants overlook the sweet potato fries and serve them with only salt, but these were sweetened a bit with cinnamon (I think, not sure though) and they were really great. My sister and I also split the key lime cheesecake which was also good, although the crust was a bit dry. Took the waitstaff quite a while to realize we were there since they were all in the kitchen at the time, but once we were seated the service was great!

I only experienced Tyme because they catered a murder mystery dinner at Equus Run. Honestly, it was the food and the wine that "made" the event. The show wasn't all that good, so I was glad that I enjoyed the food. For starters, we had a basket of warm bread, yes warm bread... for a catering company to serve warm bread as if it just came out of the oven, I was immediately impressed. Then the starter salad, it was great too. The lasagna was the main course. I usually don't eat beef, but I took the plunge and went with it since that was it, and there weren't any other options. The finale was the cheese cake... wow! I will make a point to visit the cafe when I'm in the Paris area.

One of Paris' best. Has become one of our regulars. They have an awesome new outdoor patio usually with a band on the weekends. The food is always really good whether it's a salad, fried chicken, a sandwich or soup. We've never been disappointed!

We ate here on a not busy Mon. night. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. They were very receptive to some of our suggestions. Every aspect of our individual meals were fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. The server started the evening by bringing us a warm loaf a bread and then took our drink orders. We ordered the just right spicy Kentucky Beer cheese ,served with fresh, crisp veggies and crackers. My husband ordered the Thyme meat lovers pizza. The pizza crust was a crispy thin crust with a flavorful tomato sauce, bacon pieces, sausage crumbles and pepperoni. It was perfect. The Swiss and mushroom burger was perfectly prepared. I ordered it with a side salad and red skin potato salad. Every item ordered was made with crisp, fresh and obviously homemade ingredients. Will definitely be back as their prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is outstanding.

Good food. Below average service. Nice decor and large tv to watch UK ball games or other sports. Salads are huge

My family and I go to Thyme at least three times a week. The waitstaff is so pleasant and very accommodating to my daughter, who has special needs. They treat her like she is theirs and she loves it. There are not many restaurants that don't go the extra mile. The food is delicious and are large portions. My new favorite is the Chicken Bruschetta. It's is fantastic. The owner is very friendly and checks on her customers to make sure the food is ok. As you wait for dinner they bring you a warm loaf of bread...Yummy is all I can say about this restaurant. On most weekends, there is like music and in the summer it moves to the patio. All I can say is give it a try....you won't be disappointed...

I've eaten Hot Brown at the original restraunt that started the dish. This place takes it to a new higher level !

We came for lunch on a weekday. The staff was good but the food bland. Almost all the sandwiches were $9.50, which is a bit high for not coming with a side, so I was hoping they'd be good. Unfortunately my turkey burger was dry and they didn't add the cucumber slaw that was advertised on the menu. We got a piece of strawberry cake to go but it was dry and I suspect old. Overall we were disappointed.

Slow, slow and slow. We waited 7 minutes to recognized and another 4 to be seated. Then another 5 to see a waitress and another 8 to get drinks and order. Fried chicken was amazing! Pesto pizza was good. Macaroni and cheese was cold and dry and baked potato seas not cooked. Service came with an attitude. Not going back anytime soon.

It was nice. I had the catfish, my dad had the hot brown, and my mother ha the Reuben. All of us enjoyed the food. I had macaroni and cheese. It wasn't very.. Good. It was kinda bland. But the catfish was great. The beef cheese appetizer was very good. The Reuben was very good as well. My father said that the hot brown was very rich. The service was very good, and the atmosphere lovely. Live music was in the background. And I'm a sucker for old wooden floors and exposed brick with local artwork. It was all adequately priced as well. But it's definitely a place I can live without. It's not something I have to come back to. Just a regular good meal. Nothing to get me coming back for more.

This place needs better management! Service is slow and is does not open as posted! We were there at 1115 am last week and sign said open! Doors were locked and it should have been open at 1100! I understand cook is owner/manager and she should get some training in management of a restaurant. The food is actually really good but the service is not only slow; but poor. The tables near by on our visit several months ago were dirty as there was not enough help. So, too bad --will not go back again until service improves and place opens as sign states. Sheila OK
