Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Atmosphere & food was awesome! Excited to come back when I am in town. What a hidden gem. You must try the Tunachos!

The good: good service, nice bourbon selection, food tasted OK and was filling. The bad: over-cooked pasta and canned tomato sauce at fine dining prices.

Tried visiting on our anniversary twice. Both times, not a soul was in sight upon entering. When we walked farther in and saw someone tending bar, rather than welcoming or asking us in we just got a blank stare and no one showed up to offer menus or seat us. We had heard great things from people in the area and on yelp but sadly the service led us to rethink our dinner plans and we won't be revisiting in the future.

I would reserve a spot fri/sat night..the best Italian restaurant that Paducah has to offer- hands down. Dined here for our anniversary (enjoyed a 16oz. herb crusted rack of lamb 'special') and had an excellent time. Friendly bartenders and good ambiance, I would recommend this place to hang out at the bar or maybe try the appetizer's/desserts; its a local upscale spot . You get plenty of mussels cooked in (garlic/butter, wine sauce) & fried calamari for a really good price. Recommend the cream brule to satisfy that sweet tooth craving. Also a great place to go for a special occasion. -Check out their website, fridays are ladies night & they somtimes bring in a local band. Closed on Sundays & Mondays.

You can tell the chef has passion. That the food isn't just thrown on a plate. Most of the food I believe is made fresh in house or so it taste that way. I love that I can get a half of pound of mussels in a creamy wonderful sauce for $6. Btw their bread is awesome to dip into mussels its a must try. The meatballs have great flavor. My steak was cooked to perfection. I love the atmosphere too.

Okay, Paducah! Now we're talking! I had no idea that your humble little downtown held such a gem. I travel for work, and I spend my evenings searching for a place where I can feel at home, even if it's just for a few hours. In some cities, I never find one. Not in Paducah. This is the place. The atmosphere of the place is elegant, but not stuffy. I was one of only two patrons in the restaurant when I wandered in there around 5:00 on a Wednesday night. I decided to sit at the bar, because I always have more luck making friends there, than if I'm sitting at a table all by my lonesome. And I did. The bartender, Christy, instantly made me feel welcome, and shared with me a map of interests in Paducah. She poured me a glass of wine and recommended a Chicken Meatball White Pizza. I am glad she did, because it was OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious. As the evening wore on, I enjoyed pleasant conversation with some of the bar regulars, and I ended up having only 2 pieces of the pizza to take back to the hotel with me. I ate them when I got back to the hotel. The food was that good. Shockingly, this place is actually making me look forward to going back to Paducah!

Had an opportunity to dine at Di Fratelli's recently with a group from work with spouses. We came there on my recommendation and I couldn't be more pleased. The food was excellent, service attentive, and atmosphere perfect. My favorite Paducah restaurant now! One suggestion: Bring back Blantons bourbon!

This bar will always hold a special place in my heart. There was a 3-4 month period where I actually spent more time in this bar then my own living room. It was like my whiskey drenched version of cheers. Di Fratts is a charming little Italian restaurant located in the heart of Paducah. I hear the food is excellent, but out of the 8,500 times I went there, I only ate like twice. I can verify the quality of drinks made here. The bartenders pour with a heavy hand and a big smile. Brian in particular is the bomb. I have never had a better bartender. He never made you feel like a costumer, but a friend. I am a snob about my Dirty Gin Martinis and Brian makes one of the best. He also makes a mean lemon drop. This bar also has a pretty good group of regulars consisting of transplants to the area and less cliquey locals. The people that come here come for conversation the more upscale environment that is not overly stuffy. I also attended and hosted over a dozen events here. All were great success because of the owner and his excellent staff. Some of the worst things and best things in my life have happened because of this little bar. If you ever make it here, do me a favor and tell Brian that Keith Charles says hi. Haiku! Makers Mark on the rocks. That woman looks like trouble. Lets see if she is. Talent Level ? Damn decent for a little southern town. Just be careful who walks you back to your car.

For really good Italian food, this is the place to go. It is fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for. The peach tea is great during the summer (it comes with a slice of peach in the glass). It's been a while since I've been, but I remember that everyone I was with loved their food. Definitely a great place to go for a special occasion. One of the nicer places Paducah has to offer.
