Back Yard Burgers......another name, another fast food burger joint right? In this case you would be wrong. But what makes Back Yard Burger different from other burger joints? The simple fact they GRILL their burgers on an open flamed grill VS on a flat griddle or even a broiler This isn't my first time eating at a Back Yard Burger, just the first time I have taken time to write a review. It has been probably over a year since I have eaten here due to living on the east coast, but man did I forget what I was missing. I usually order the Hawaiian burger, not on the menu but similar toppings as the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, but tonight I decided on the 2/3 lb burger. I added grilled onions, and american cheese. What makes this burger building stand out is the true grill flavor of a charcoal grill that protrudes from these tasty meat medalians. Now I can't claim this to be true, but it probably has some truth to it, as the burgers are cooked on an open flame and not sitting in their own fat, I would assume they are a lil bit healthier than a regular griddle burger, like Mcd's, Wendys, ect... And a 2nd feature I love about this restaurant is the seasoned fries. THey are great! You can choose between seasoned fries or waffle fries but to be honest I think Chik-Fil-A has better waffle fries. But the seasoned fries are AMAZING!!!!! The best way I can describe them is they taste almost exactly like Arbys curly fries...but only straight! No curls. Sometimes I don't even use ketchup. Everything here is made to order. They have a sign under their menu that states "if it isn't too hot to eat, then it isn't ready to serve". Which I can appreciate. My food shouldn'jt be warm before I even sit and then lukewarm when I sit down to eat it, I like my food HOT!!!! and they provide this. Overall I would give this a 8/10 and highly recommend if you have never had the pleasure of a Back Yard Burger.....
