Never been disappointed by the service or the food. Very accommodating of special requests and needs.

Okay, stop what you are doing and go to the nearest Cracker Barrel and order the Three Berry, Cream Cheese Filled French Toast. They are delicious! The presentation doesn't look like much, but this dish is very good!

Great place for breakfast! The store has a lot of great random gift ideas when you are undecided for someone!

I have a confession to make-I am a foodie, and I love Cracker Barrel! I mostly hate chain restaurants; I am known for putting up sad faces when made to go to one, but I actually made my husband take me during our recent trip. Love the chicken and dumplings, corn bread and biscuits. It's also the only chain so far I am able to feed to my baby because I can find simple stuff without hidden crap. Great service too, and I even like the store!

I really wanted to hate this place. Good Southern comfort food from a chain restaurant simply cannot and should not exist, I thought. "Dear God, let this place suck and restore my foodie credibility", I prayed as I walked through the kitschy store front area, back to the restaurant. My co-workers and I snickered at the decor - dangerous looking farm implements (scythes, hatchets, pitchforks, etc) hanging from the wall and aged black and white photos of strangers long expired. We chortled haughtily at the expense of the locals (who eyed us city-slickers with equal disdain). But then we gorged brashly on some seriously tasty rib-stickin', finger smackin' comfort food. My grilled catfish dispelled my prior notion of the Ictaluridae being 'muddy' tasting. Instead, it was as tender and flavorful as one could possibly expect from a $7 meal. A side of turnip greens with a generous pool of pot liquor satisfied my craving for vegetation and a taste of the South. Our waitress was charmingly quintessential of the classic Americana diner waitress - rail thin, raspy voice (don't know if she smokes cigarettes or eats them), and relentlessly harried, though unflinchingly gracious and astoundingly efficient. At the risk of damaging my 'foodie' credibility, my first experience at a Cracker Barrel surprisingly didn't suck.

Went on a Sunday afternoon, they actually had a 15min. wait, which is the 1st time I've waited for a table here. We only waited 10 mins. tops for a seat. Food came out pretty fast, but we didn't have any silverware, not that would gave stopped me for long. The waitress got us some and apologized. My food was good, wife said hers was burnt, taste good to me so I get the leftovers for later. We eat here alot and the service is usually pretty good. If your in the mood for some home- style cooking, this is the place to go if your away from home. I do think the ones farther south are better though!
