Lines have worn away and it is uneven) Location - average The food here was good but not the best I have ever had. All of it was hot and good though. I really like how they have 1/2 beer during UK games. They also have a punch card and with a purchase of 10 lunch or dinner buffets you get 1 free. That is pretty good way to get return business. They also have a sushi and hibachi bar that is included with the buffet.

Was great. You can't go wrong with all you can eat seafood. I absolutely love the shimp. My family loves this place. My family from Florida can't get enough of it. It's is always on the list of restaurant to go to when they are in town. Service is ok. I have ordered take out several times and they have never gotten the order correct. They need more English speaking people with the understanding of the language as well. All in all great place!

As far as American Chinese goes, this ended up being top notch. The place certainly could use some new decorating but unlike other reviews I didnt find it to be dirty. Its a small town buffet so to be clear if you dont show up for lunch or dinner proper I can see where the food was old or cold. I really cant imagine they do enough business to keep it rolling all day non stop. Theyd waste too much. Frankly most buffets should have lunch and dinner hours only. Best tip is show up at OPEN. The food was great when it was fresh. Plus they do carry fresh made Sushi! Service was about par. Price was under normal. So over all it was a good little find.

Fresh food of higher quality than any buffet I have ever visited. Sushi made to order before your eyes. While this is a buffet the food is almost as good as a place that makes it to order.

Service is horrible, I got offered a water and no one checked with me to see if wanted a soft drink. Food tasted frozen, I tried almost everything on the buffet, and the only thing I could find that I liked was the chicken on a stick. Carpets and overall appearance of restaurant is filthy. Plates were dirty and mis-matched. My dining experience is almost over and the server has never even introduced themselves. I just had to run to the bathroom, which was also dirty and cold. The orange slices are fresh and taste good however.

Unlike other urban areas, very few Chinese buffets in the BlueGrass. Ichiban may not be a mega buffet, but it is a quality Chinese buffet, especially if you are good at choosing the best items by their appearance. Many of the traditional buffet items are delicious, but a few are not as appetizing. General Tso's chicken has a better than average sauce, the spring rolls are delicious, and even the crab Rangoon's are tasty. The sushi is fresh, tasty, and given the modest price of the buffet, a real bargain. If you want to pick and choose your own Chinese favorites, this is a very good place to go.

The food is always fresh and well prepared. Absolutely declicious in fact! The service is friendly, which makes for a more enjoyable dining experience. Ichiban is the best Chinese in Jessamine County.
