Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Found in the heart and outskirts of Cincy, this pizza place impressed me from the moment I walked in. The only reason I went was because the Reds got 11 strikeouts on the Cards (I'm not kidding, this is the deal). Everyone gets a free small pizza when that happens, and there were 30K fans in attendance when it did soooooo (lots of free pizza). The sauce stood out from competitors. The cheesesticks were nice and crispy on the bottom. The pizza had just enough dough and was delicious. No complaints! I will definitely return even if it isn't free

I got the lunch special, small pizza two toppings and a salad. The pizza had almost no toppings on it, their sauce is very sweet. I'm not really a big fan, I went here because the other two places I wanted to go to were really packed for lunch. The salad was warm and wilted and pretty horrible. It's almost like they made all of the salads on Monday and are still serving them on Saturday. I don't know how The salad could be warm, but it was. Gross. Never again

Just a total waste of ten bucks for lunch--wasn't really sure what I was in the mood for, passed by this location and thought, "why not?" I migth eat Larosa's once in....3 years or so. Seated quickly, the waitress came just after the hostess left and said, "do you need a minute?" I guess that the people who eat Larosa's mediocre food day after day eat the same exact thing, too, so there is no thought required. She came back and I asked what the soups were--4 different soups, I chose the onion and because I needed something else...not a salad because I remember their salads being subpar, I ordered the 5 boneless wings with medium sauce. $3.89 didn't seem too much, but when she brought them, they were basically really overdone pieces of breaded chicken that were sort of tossed on "top' of sauce, maybe a little "schmeer" here or there. Not true wings, certainly, and even more silly was that when I noticed they were served without celery and asked for some, the server told me they "didn't give celery anymore with wings." She brought my bill and I noted that the onion soup was $4.00 (?), I quickly paid (if, rather begrudgingly) and left. I won't be back, to this location or any other Larosa's, honestly, because they're really all just about the same which brings me to wonder about Cincinnatian's and their culinary favorites like Skyline and Larosas. Just leaves me scratching my head!!

This location of this iconic local chain doesn't seem to have the charisma of some of the others, maybe because it's newer. I've been there a couple of times and the service is usually speedy, but the food (having tried pizza, sandwiches and salad) is just ok. I prefer the Covington location.

On some Fridays, when my son says he wants to carb up, we come to LaRosa's for their Chicken Alfredo, which is one of his favorites. Then my wife and I usually share a double pepperoni pizza which we like. We usually end our dinner with their chocolate chip cookies which come out fresh from the oven It always does the trick. This location at Carothers Rd in Newport is an okay location however it's typical of the chain. Nothing spectacular about it but at the same time it's a place to have your LaRosa's fix. The place is usually busy on a Friday or Saturday night however the servers usually try their best and try to get your orders out in a very timely manner. We're usually satisfied when we leave however I still can't give them a 4 star rating.

This LaRosa's pretty much feels like many other stores in the Newport area, which is a shame because a lot of them that I've seen have real charm and class. This one? Meh, feels like a chain. That's not to say it's not a good thing, there's just nothing really overwhelming about it. It's very bland, simple, comforting. No Greater Cincinnati charm, nothing to make it really stand out. Tucked away behind the Target/Super Kroger, there's plenty of parking at this establishment. The last time I was there, we I came right at lunch and even though it was packed, found a spot easily.) We were seated in a booth and our waiter checked on us right away. I ordered the steak hoagie with the side salad combo and a diet coke. Our drinks were there almost immediately and the salad came quickly following after. The service here was top notch for sure. The salad was crisp and fresh although both salads only came with one olive a piece, which was a little strange and disappointing as I love their olives in my salad, but ah well. The food is decent. I'm still searching for that LaRosa's item that blows me away (not being from here originally, the pizza sauce doesn't do it for me like it does for others.) The steak sandwich was decent and it came with nice homemade chips. And there was free open WiFi, which was a win. Overall, I'd come back if I was in the area and craving LaRosa's, but only then. There are other spots, including other LaRosa's, I'd go to first.

From what I hear this is like the best pizza you can get in Cincinnati. Well I am from Chicago so I believe I know good pizza when I eat it and this was above average but nothing special. This would, however, be a great place for families. It has a very warm and friendly atmosphere, a few TVs and tons of soda choices. I would certainly come here again if I was passing through town but I wouldnt talk it up quite as much as people I know did.

Dining in at this particular LaRosa's is always pleasant. The servers are happy and it's normally a pretty clean environment. Service is top-notch. My beef comes with the online ordering/pick-up orders. EVERY single time I've ordered something that isn't the norm (light sauce, extra croutons, etc), the order is wrong. I should really check it before I leave, but the point of picking up at lunch is that I'm in a hurry and don't have time to wait for another pizza or salad to be made because they got the order wrong.

This location is nothing special. The food was just ok. But, the service was ok+. The initial wait at the hostess stand was annoying, but everything else met min.

Warning- Larosa's is serving bad bacon. Tonight we got a pizza that had expired or tainted, very rank smelling bacon. When I called, after being transferred three times, I was told that they are aware of a problem with their bacon from their supplier. So I asked why would you still serve it and her answer was "well we don't know which stores have the bad bacon"! Seriously?!?! I don't complain to restaurants ever but I'm so concerned that they have choose to serve the bacon at every store until complaints come in that I wants to warn everyone. They wanted the names Of each family member that ate it so they can have corporate call us and check up on us later! I asked specifically what is wrong with the bacon and she said she's not sure the specifics and someone from corporate has to call me back. Wth?!? Not happy! Very disappointed in their business of putting money before the customer's health. The local manager was very concerned and said he had not been notified by corporate about any issue with any bacon. I'm not sure I believe that but he was acting concerned and handled my complaint professionally and politely.
