Went recently after not visiting for a while and thought it was quite good. Beer cheese was great, food was quick and fresh. May stop by today. Highly recommend.

Found this place in old decrepit downtown, but what a treasure. I had the special: pork chop with apples, paired with grilled squash and twice baked potatos. Also a bowl of potato soup. Wow...everything was delicious. I could have made a meal of the fab squash, a little spicy and wonderful grill taste. Oh and don't forget the biscuit.....yum. Just wish I was going to be in town for one more day and eat there again.

What a great find! I stumbled into this place on a trip through Mount Sterling, and was quite satisfied. I had the roast beef and it was absolutely delicious. The service was extremely friendly, and overall for what we had, it was very well priced. I'm not sure when I'll be swinging back by this town, but I'll definitely be stopping back if I'm in town.

Had a Reuben sandwich and had to buy french fries separately. Yes, sandwich didn't come with fries. The Reuben was good but not as good as what I fix at home. My only visit and my wife refuses to go back there. The kitchen did take about 30 minutes to make my sandwich and there were only 3 tables seated and dining. Nothing spectacular but the worst thing was the outrageous pricing. I expect fine service when dining out and this was just slow and tedious. Maybe one more chance but if it's no better I'll not try a 3rd time.

Had dinner here tonight. There are seemingly two sections- a main dining room and a bar area. On this Tuesday evening the dining room was empty and the few folks in the adjacent bar area were being a bit loud. I ordered the fried chicken, which had since been modified from its description on the menu. Instead of the standard four pieces of chicken, I was told this was now only two pieces of chicken breast. This came with my choice of two sides, I opted for the green beans (tasty) and the fried potatoes (just okay). I will say that the chicken itself was quite delicious- crispy, juicy, tender and flavorful. Service was fine I suppose, but there isn't really anything about this place I'm eager to come back for. Whatever charm this place was said to have, clearly I must have missed it.

Sadly Terry and Kathy's no longer sell the world's best coconut cream pie. The peach cobbler and pecan pie are good but not on the same level as the coconut cream pie. Yet this place retains a gift for turning ordinary dishes into extraordinary experiences. The home made chips are still exceptional. I had a cup of potato soup. Ordinarily potato soup is unremarkable but here it takes on a savory creaminess that surpasses any soup I have ever had. Even a club sandwich is transformed into something more here. I think they may use pimento cheese on it because mine had extra zip and flavor! I love this place. Good thing I don't live in Mt. Sterling.

Lovely little restaurant! Great services and food! I had the salad with their homemade dressing, the dressing was amazing! And, I ordered the country fried chicken with fries: it was the best fried chicken I've ever had, better than Popeye's and Church's. The white meat is juicy! The berry tart was my dessert - ambrosial!! I would definitely recommend this place!!

I used to love this place but since the new owners I was very disappointed. We all went (a family of 4) and we all ordered rib eyes because that is what we always used to get. I had never had a problem with the way it was cooked before - but they OVERCOOKED all of our steaks. That cost me $80+ to pay for their error. Not happy. When the waitress was checking on us she saw me NOT eating and never once said "how is your food?" I ordered mine medium rare and it was so overdone that I could not even eat it because it was like cardboard. I gave the left overs to my dog. my husband refuses to EVER go back because it was so bad that trip. Since the new owners I have heard a lot of local people are disappointed.

Home town cooking at its finest. Haven't had anything I have NOT liked yet. Appetizers, cocktails, entrees, deserts; all delicious! The staff is super friendly. What you would expect from a small town joint. Prices vary, but are appropriate. Check it out!

We arrived just in time for their 11-2pm Sunday brunch, and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, and tasty food. The biscuits and gravy, and the cookies 'n cream pie (no judgement please!) were delicious! If you find yourself on this stretch of I-64, skip the chains and stop in!
