Why do restaurants with good food insist on serving crappy tea? The Gold Peak machines produce the worst tasting "tea" I've ever had. The original Home Run location had fresh brewed iced tea, so I was expecting that to be consistent amongst all stores. About the food: their Cajun fries are fantastic. They use Gardenburger veggie patties, which I happily loaded up with free toppings. The food is good, and it is consistently good. And they are fairly quick, even with the line out the door at peak lunchtime. I just can't get over the bad tea. That is the sole reason this isn't a 5-star review.

The staff is friendly, the burgers are amazing and the service is pretty quick as well. They have burgers with baseball-inspired names such as the Bases Loaded and they also serve a mean rolled oyster, seasonally. This is one of my wife's favorite burger joints, and is quickly becoming mine. If you haven't tried Home Run Burgers yet, what are you waiting for?

Love this place! Their burgers are comparable to Red Robin, maybe even better. Very family friendly and its local. It's simple, casual, and the food is full of flavor! I recommend the Smokehouse Burger, Cajun fries, and Cherry Coke :D

Really like their burgers. "Plain burger" can still have additions: raw or grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, and more. The fries order is very generous. Shelbyville and St Matthews are both clean, and have friendly, quick servers.

Probably odd one out, but we have yet to try the burgers. Their grilled chicken sandwiches are great, however. The times that we have been we have had great service, prompt, and great food. It was a tad bit more expensive than I had expected but the quality was there. Most recently I stopped in to get a few sandwiches and meals to go. Didn't have to wait very long at all. Excellent grilled chicken, so much so that both my wife and I would gladly go back, and the fries were great as well. If they had sweet potato fries that would have just sealed the deal for me.

Delicious and juicy burgers made fresh when you order with 25 unique toppings to choose from. You can also choose between regular and cajun fries! Ate here several times and never had a bad experience. Food comes up very quickly. Will definitely be back!

LOVE the seasoned fries, and the burgers are pretty good too. Definitely not fast food type burgers. Sometimes its slow, even where there is not a lot of people, and sometimes it not. I do wish the Shelbyville location would get Dr. Pepper. One review stated "Our family of 3 can eat for about $10." I am not sure what they ate, but a basic lunch meal, not including a drink, for 1 is minimal $5.00, plus any extras you may choose to add. Dont get me wrong, the burgers are good, but dont go in there expecting to spend a $10 for 3 people.

I didn't find anything extraordinary here. Good burger a but little pricey. Think "in and out burger" from California. I paid over $9 for a burger, small fry and medium drink.

Love the burgers and both regular and Cajun fries are great. This is the new home of have it your way. These are some of the best burgers around in my opinion and everyone gets it exactly the way they want it. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good burger.

First couple of visits were great, food was well prepared and delicious and service was pleasant . Last couple of times the service has gone down a little which affects the quality of the food and experience. Great burger for sure but not the best in Louisville.

We really enjoy going to Home Run burgers. We probably go once every week or so. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer a free kids meal with an adult meal that is purchased. Our family of 3 can eat for about $10 (cheaper than fast food!) The burgers are great. The gardenburgers are also great. There are about 30 toppings you can add (ketchup, mustard, pickles, mayo, sauteed mushrooms, egg, red peppers, coleslaw, saurkraut, and the list goes on and on). We have never received an incorrect order to date. The fries also deserve mention. They are VERY tasty. They taste very fresh, and are also good if you request the cajun seasoning. Get a side of ranch to dip it in. (YUM)

Decent burger at a very reasonable price! Lots of good free toppings. Fries are good. The bun is probably the most hit and miss aspect of the meal; they're sometimes a bit too toasty and other times fine.

Pretty good burger and you have the option to include any toppings you want. Does remind me a bit of InnNOut burgers. Fries are very good. Lunch special used to include a drink, but now does not.

It's still no replacement for my In-N-Out cravings (animal style!), but it helps to stave the desire. Cheeseburger ordered with the grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms and 1000 island dressing plus extras is pretty tasty. This is our favorite quick burger joint in town yet.
