While working at Red Bird Mission this summer, I heard about Manchester bakery and was delighted to go one Saturday morning. The bakery is off the main road. One cannot miss the sign in front advertising seasonal specials. It so happened to be zucchini bread. Everything in this bakery is homemade with the freshest ingredients by the Mennonites. The smell of fresh baked goods was so pleasing , I walked out with more than I intended to buy. What I purchased was a $2.50 loaf of mulitgran bread and a 58 cent eclair doughnut. Affordability for great quality. Next time I will buy homemade cookies or a mini pie o r cake. So tempting is this bakery, habitual returns may ruin my diet because it is that delicious.
