Visited the Crowded House on a Tuesday night when I was in town for business. I'll go back for sure. Cold beer, friendly staff and good food. I ordered the house made hummus as an app. The chips were warm and the hummus was definitely NOT from a food service. It wasn't blended super smooth like commercially made "Sabra". A couple of wide slices of red pepper were a nice edition. I ordered the pork "ribeye" as my entree and it was juicy and tender. I asked for it to be cooked to order med rare. I don't mind my pork a little pink. The bartender(I sat in the pub part of the place) was happy to accommodate m my request. The only issue I had with the entree were the sides. I got the baked potato and a side of grilled asparagus. Both were cool. Not the temp you'd expect for a baker and grilled veggie. The bartender was quick to ask me how things were and to bring me fresh sides when I told him I wasn't pleased. I was given a complimentary desert for my troubles. All and all... A great place.

I'm all about respecting me and what I taught, but these guys were killing the creativity of local artists. I heard this cowboy tell someone they couldn't say anything "offensive" in their songs, and even when they complied he still kinda blew them off. This is in every negative way, a "family bar". Major bummer bro. The atmosphere feels kinda killjoy, like hanging out with Michael while he brags about fighting demons. If you're a band that plays anything besides generic Christian rock or country, don't play here. They won't give you the time of day. What are you staying in this crap town for anyways? Come to Louisville and eat some Chinese with the J-man. Christ out.

Stooped in from out of town for a snack and a beer. Had hummus. Very well done. Toasted flat bread. Great draft choices and top shelf grub for MVille. Stayed to watch karaoke on Wednesday and it was really great! Great bartender. Not panicky Attentive. Crowd is friendly and fun loving. Will return..

Messed up again. This time forgotten appetizers and a St Patrick's day special featuring corned beef dinner minus the corned beef (sausage ain't a substitute). Management sets the standard, we all know that. So, besides.a poor mea,l the service was slow. A better choice is #9 Steakhouse.

Great food. Attentive service, despite the fact that it was Saturday night and they had one party of over twenty next to us. Steak salad, pork chop Penner and fried chicken were all fabulous.

Stopped in with 3 coworkers in town for a business meeting. Inside architecturally is very cool, exposed beams neat ambiance. 2 of us got burgers..there's a good selection of different kinds and truthfully I dont think you can go wrong with any one. They make pretty fantastic looking/tasting burgers with top notch fries (i had the sweet potatoe fries..way smaller portion ps but still great) served on cutting boards. Friend had the sampler..wings & fried pickles were meh in my opinion but if your a fan of fried mushrooms, gotta try them. All in all out of what/where you can eat in this city this place id rank as a must stop place.

It's OK, not sure if this is a bakery, coffee shop, sandwich shop, or a bar. If its intended to be all of the above then not sure these mix well, so the atmosphere is a little confusing. The food is OK with some hits and some misses on the menu. The staff is friendly and attentive but they need more as it felt understaffed during my visit. Some have compared to an upscale bistro in larger cities. This is far from that. But considering the town, it's nice to have better choices than McDonalds or Applebee's. I would go back, but nothing I will be writing home about.

Excellent atmosphere. It's a refreshing change from the run of the mill Mexican restaurants and fast food normally found in madisonville.

This is a great alternative to the chain restaurants & fast food in Madisonville. Service was great, the hostess was very friendly and told us about the history of the establishment. For dinner I had a grilled cheese with 3 cheeses and tomato basil soup, and finished it off with a piece of Italian cream cake - it was delicious. They had 3 cakes made in-house: banana, white, and Italian cream. Other dessert options included cupcakes and cakes from the Cheesecake Factory.

We love the crowded house! My husband loves the Brother's Cuban, I love the Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast with Bier Cheese Sauce, the Tomato Basil Soup, and the Sweet potato fries! Great lunch or dinner spot. :) Crowded house is my favorite local restaurant in Madisonville!

Stopped in for a late lunch, was in a hurry, and the waitress got me oriented quickly to the menu. I said I assumed they didn't have gluten free bread, but I was surprised to learn they had gluten free buns. I chose the Cuban, and it was excellent! Fantastic service, and a great price. Awesome experience.
