My hands down, favorite Mom & Pop Chinese take-out restaurant in Louisville, KY. I particularly enjoy the General Tso's chicken and the Crab Rangoon. I have been eating here for 10 years and they are always one notch above the competition.

Pretty bad experience. It took more than hour and a half to deliver, the food was cold and tasteless. Overall poor experience. I'll never order from them again.

I love the food at this place. They also deliver and they are close to my house. Service is always fast and efficient and you can even order online! The only thing that needs work is the decor. Red Sun looks more than a little shabby on the inside and it makes me want to just stick to delivery.

Sometimes we all need a dependable, convenient and fairly cheap takeout place for those nights when I don't want to cook; I crave Chinese food and I don't care about how many GRAMs of sodiums I'm about to ingest. Red Sun is the place for me. The taste is consistent; the veggies are fresh; and the stir fried beef, chicken and shrimp dishes are all good. I don't like their "roast" pork dishes, though. I gave them an extra star for being the source of my secret craving: crab rangoons. Theirs have the big chunk of filling, perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors. And they are wrapped up very pretty with that "cross flower" on top. BTW, their white rice is actually edible, not hard and dry like the other places. One caveat: I don't think they cook your food until you show up to pay the bill. So don't expect to jump out of the car and the food will be waiting for you. But they are really fast, I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes.
