Some of these reviews seem a bit harsh in comparison to our visit last weekend. We had a pretty large group (20+) and it was nice out so most of us were seated on the back porch. Great atmosphere and it was awesome to be able to seat so many in one location (which we didn't expect). Our waiter was awesome and very organized despite having quite a few tables. I had the sirloin with blu-cheese/butter topping. I'm a sucker for blu-cheese and my steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Not the best steak I've ever had but above average for a family restaurant like Rafferty's. I'm not aware of anyone in our group that had a bad meal or any issues. I really liked our visit a lot and would definitely return if I lived in the area.

I've never been to a Rafferty's and I'm assuming it is a chain restaurant? The service here was just fine, they refilled my iced tea so often I had to float back to my hotel. I ordered a small Frisco Chicken salad for lunch and it came with a delightful croissant that had some delicious honey drizzled on it. Maybe this is how 'they do' in Kentucky. If so, I'll take it. Although, I was trying to be good by ordering a small salad and that that devil croissant shows up with it.....

Awful service and a moth in my daughters salad. The manager on duty actually said that it has happened before and that they should wash their lettuce better. Can't believe she actually said that. This was my second time to give them a chance. Never going back again.

The service was good, although the waitress was serving a fairly large area. The wait time for food and drinks was short, and the food came out hot. Everything tasted good as well. The reason I stopped at 4 stars instead of 5 is because the portions are a bit on the small side. I had the sirloin steak and chicken fingers combo with asparagus as the side. The steak was good, and about the size promised on the menu. The asparagus and chicken servings were a bit skimpy though. Overall a good place.

I keep giving this location a chance, especially since they serve Prime Rib daily, after 4pm. Sadly, I'm thoroughly disappointed. They do not either know how to cook it nor season it. I actually ordered it rare last night, in hopes of if they make an error, I would receive it med-rare. To my dismay, as soon as my plate was placed in front of me, even without cutting, anyone with intelligence could tell the prime rib was medium. Obviously, I sent it back, and within a minute or so, they replaced my meal with almost the same cut. True, genuine cut of quality prime rib is medium rare. Yes I know there should have some bloody juices, and yet again, they served another medium prime rib. This truly frustrates me, and I won't be returning. Not only that, if you can taste the salt more than the flavor of your main entree, either they receive pour cuts from your distributor, or you hired hands are not properly trained. I regret giving this location another chance. I'm done wasting my money there. Beware of the prime rib, I can't say anything about their other options.

Nothing spectacular here but it really is A-OK. Rafferty's is a step up from your typical American chain restaurant (Applebee's, Chilis). I've never had anything BAD from this place, I've never had anything that really blew me away either. I do have to compliment their service though. The service has always been excellent at this location anyway, even when they get busy. The interior is pretty snazzy, well decorated. More appealing to the eye than your typical chain I suppose. Rafferty's is certainly worth stopping by if you're in the area and looking for a decent meal with a big selection.

Swung by to grab a bite with a friend. We started with $5 appetizer, our waitress suggested the hot chicken tenders. It was a pretty small proportion with breaded chicken fingers in a basket with spicy sauce all over them. They were messy, kind of spicy, soggy, but did the trick. For my entree I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of steamed broccoli. I was very pleased with my dinner. There was tons of pork which was very tender, juicy, and flavorful and the pile of broccoli was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered a rare steak and he ended up sending it back to the kitchen for a few more seconds on the grill and then loved it (still way too red for my taste) but great that the kitchen was accommodating. The biggest highlight was the $1.95 happy hour cocktails. All well drinks and most beers were very very discounted so we took advantage. A family dining atmosphere with lots of flat-screen TVs. Service was great, our waitress was very helpful and the manager came to check on us several times.

Love their chicken fingers, buffalo style. The croissant roles that comes with salads are pretty scrumptious too.

to the first reviewer: doug's first mistake was ordering lasagna at a quintessentially American restaurant. cheese fries and a club sandwich is all you need to satiate the soul at Rafferty's. if i could teleport i would jaunt between Brooklyn and Raffertys weekly.

Excellent chain restaurant. Best bartender in town. Sit in the bar area for lunch and order Chicken finger salad or the ribs. Both are excellent.

I have to admit, I really don't like the specialty of the house (ribs) so i NEVER order them. I just order something else on the menu and I am usually rewarded with a fairly mediocre dish. On my last visit I decided to try their Lasagna. They brought out this tiny square of dried-out, overcooked noodles with tasteless cheese and really funky-tasting meat sandwiched between them, with the whole swimming in a big bowl of watery sauce. The also have the nerve to charge $13 for this.
