Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This question must be answered: Why are most of the tables, at any Moe's, always dirty? Anyone? Despite it's less-than-appealing dining room, i can power through for a Homewrecker & a cup of queso (the best out of all the fast-casual chains). Plus they have a Coca Cola Freestyle - my vice. The salsa bar is also fun. It's always fresh-tasting and the verde is on point! Moe's satiates burrito needs in a quick, affordable fashion. Just don't stick around if crushed chips on every surface scares you.

Here's the debate I often have with my friends and family... Which is the best fast casual Mexican restaurant in town: Qdoba, Chipotle, or Moe's? I'll do a quick review of each to express my opinions. I always get a burrito bowl/naked burrito when I go to any of these restaurants, so my reviews will be based on that. To me, Moe's gets second place. Moe's would definitely receive first place for variety of toppings. I love all the toppings, a lot of which you can't get at Qdoba or Chipotle (i.e. mushrooms, jalapenos, etc). They definitely have more toppings to choose from than the other two. I also enjoy the white queso at Moe's. I'm a lover of white queso, and generally prefer it over it's yellow counterpart. The reason Moe's isn't the winner of the three in my book, is because their ingredients don't seem to be quite as fresh and high quality as the others. Still a delicious burrito bowl.

We use to love this place , excellent service decent prices and good portions. Not prices went up and customer service and portions went down. Go across the street to Qdoba//UPDATED;, Added a star due to the owners response and action taken to improve Customer service to how it use to be when it opened.

This location is close to my office and a few of my partners make a visit on the occasional Monday for Moes Monday deal where you get any burrito and a drink for $5. I believe that the quality of the food is higher at Moes than at Qudoba. The staff at either have always been equally nice as well as the cleanliness of the stores.

I choose Moe's over Q any day of the week. From the "welcome to moe's" to chips included with the burrito, Moe's is way better. Can't beat Moe's Monday, $5 after 5pm. No they are not as fancy as Q, but as far as value and consistency they win hands down. We are talking burritos here, it's pretty simple. You can make it sound like it's more than it is like Q or you can call it what it is. Only reason I go to Q is because the Bardstown location is open after a night out.

It's MOE'S. About the closest thing to "Fast-Food" we will eat. I give them a small nod over QDOBA because they offer TOFU. But really it's all the same.

Terrible food! One of the worst taco's I've ever tasted. I know I shouldn't be asking much in Kentucky, but nevertheless, at least you would expect the food to be served hot. Pretty bad food overall.

Sucks! Worst burrito ever had.

I don't care if it's "Moe's Monday" or not, you should accept a guest's birthday coupon for a free burrito. Seriously, if they burritos are cheaper on Monday, then you are writing off less money at the end of the day, right? So to be turned down because it was Monday was rediculous.

If you order vegetarian, don't expect actual vegetables. There was a line to the door which moved pretty quick, so obviously quite a few people like it here...or maybe they were in line for free queso night - that was pretty tasty! You'd get about the same food at Taco Bell, though.

Order from the menu, don't attempt to modify anything. I ordered 4 soft tacos "four tacos on one plate is what i wanted" but after three hispanics couldn't understand what i wanted i ended up with 4 plates with a taco on each plate. Kinda hard to carry... lol The employees lack the proper understanding of the english language to modify from the set menu items....
