I tried Manhattan Grill after a coworker came in with an awesome looking grilled roast beef sandwich he had just had delivered ( I would have rated it a 5 star). However, when I ordered the exact same sandwich a day later, it was, while tasty, only about half the size of what he had gotten (Hence the 2 stars). I did confirm with him that he had not ordered the sandwich with any 'extras'. In fact, the next day he ordered the same sandwich and it was underwhelming like the one I got. He ordered it a third time and it was back to the same, awesome sized sandwich that he had shown me the first time. This tells me that there is quite possibly an issue with whomever is preparing the sandwiches not following a standard. Normally (this from experience with the food industry) this also indicates that an establishment owner or manager is preparing the sandwiches that are underwhelming, shorting ingredients to cut costs while not being concerned about the customer experience. I understand running a business, but when a customer is expecting a healthy sized sandwich and pays the significant cost to acquire it then receives a measly portioned one, the inconsistency will and did cost Manhattan Grill a potential loyal follower.

While in Louisville on business, the group ordered lunch from this place twice. The food was adequate. Nothing fantastic. But they are good if you need lunch delivered. They offer a diverse menu, clearly write on each box what is included, and provide all the necessary condiments and utensils.

This is my go-to place for lunch when I'm working downtown. It's fast and reasonably priced. The employees are always helpful and friendly. I've had around 8 or 10 different items. Love the Broadway Taco Salad, the Buffalo New York, and the Bronx Burger. I've not been displeased with anything on the menu. It's packed right around noon with almost no seats available but any other time it's a great place to go and sit down. The delivery guys are great. There are two things I dislike about this place (which are not deal breakers). Firstly; the bathroom, it's wayyyy in the back, hard to find and a little scary. Secondly; they just aren't open enough! We need weekends Manhattan Grill!!

The staff was friendly enough but a bit crass. I had the Manhattan special and the pastrami and corned beef were very tough.

We had sandwiches delivered for a meeting. I had the twin veggie wrap with chips. It was very delicious and I was quite surprised. I typically make my wraps at home so you never know what to expect. It was stuffed with eggplant and other veggies, mayo and cheese and it was hot, which I enjoyed. I would certainly eat here again!

I absolutely love this place. I'm really picky and like to customize items, they've always graciously accommodated my sometimes ridiculous requests. If you want to eat in for lunch, get there early, lines tend to be out the door around lunch, for good reason. There's not one thing on the menu that I haven't really enjoyed. Service: great. Food: hot and fresh. When I've used their delivery, it's always been prompt, friendly, & the food arrives hot & ready to eat. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Okay, I was being petty about the pickle before. But I really love pickles! Anyway, updating to say that I would recommend the Twin Tower Rollup with. Warning: it's served warm, which is weird to me, but it actually works (to me a wrap is cold and a burrito is warm--but this definitely does not qualify as a burrito). I am usually against warm lettuce but the cheese/sauce makes up for it. The "secret sauce" is tasty and probably unhealthy. I have only had it with chicken but I'm guessing the other meats would be good, too.

A little taste of the big apple in KY. This restaurant is one of my favorites to hit up for lunch. It has a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and chicken, all with their own New York flare. The service has always been very speedy and very friendly. So even if you see a long line, don't be discouraged. Once you order you can go find a seat and they will bring your food out to you so you don't have to stand around waiting by the counter. My favorite of theirs is the New York Club. I know its a simple sand which, but they make it to perfection! Their burgers are also very well made and are good sized as well, so you don't feel shorted. They also have a very extensive breakfast menu that I have heard nothing but great things about.

Wow! Today was my first visit to Manhattan Grill and I'm in love! I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. Five stars all around. They have plenty of menu options, very reasonable prices, friendly staff, a clean and organized dining room, and the food is delicious! The food is flavorful, fresh, and high quality. I have no complaints whatsoever. I can't comment on delivery times because I'd rather get out of the office and get a few steps in. Also can't comment on the "NYC authenticity" because I've never been and I simply don't care. If it's good food, it's good food. I tried the Twin Tower veggie wrap and it was AWESOME! It was chock full of delicious veggies - and not just your typical, boring veggies. It had eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, tomato, onion, and lettuce, plus cheese and their "secret sauce." OMG the flavor of everything was phenomenal. I can't wait to try countless other sandwiches from their menu, although honestly, it's going to be really hard not to get that Veggie Twin Tower. Manhattan Grill is definitely added to my weekly lunch rotation!

We are here for a convention group of 26 and have ordered breakfast and the lunch box. The food is excellent and the service is as well. Almost want to keep it a secret, but they deserve better than that! Super recommended!

Eat in and delivery. Sometimes I eat in and several times a month I do the delivery service. Last month my order was delayed and the food was cold, so I called for a little compliant, to my surprise, they offered me a free order. So last week I took them up on the free order, and guess what I got it. Wow, I couldn't believe after a couple weeks they would remember my free order.

Well I do wish they were organic or locally sourced. Manhattan featured a huge menu of fresh hand prepared food, several good vegetarian options and even some vegan ones with a little modification. I can recommend the veggie melt sans cheese which is still bursting with flavor though I had to eat it with knife and fork with no cheese to hold bit together. I love that they offer such healthy sides like steamed veggies or raw fruit though I will say that they were bland and could use a little oil or herbs. My cohort had the piled high plate of grilled cheese which appeared to be as expertly grilled to golden perfection as my own sandwich and tomato basil soup for dipping. The wait is never too long, prices are very reasonable, staff are friendly and they even deliver! Go ahead, indulge.

You can never go wrong with Manhattan Grill. They make great food at a great price. They also give you so much food for the money you spend. I've never left there hungry or unhappy with my experience. As far as the New York theme goes I do think Manhattan Grill misses the mark a little bit. Most real deli, small sit down restaurants in NYC are typically not that clean and the staff is fairly rude. Otherwise it's a great place for lunch or breakfast!

I love their Twin Tower Roll-ups with ham and turkey. The sauce they put in them is so good! Sometimes it takes a while to get your food during lunch time. When the office orders, we call it in ahead of time and it usually takes about 30-45 minutes. Prices are pretty reasonable. The New York theme is cool, if you're into that kind of thing.

I've been driving past this little place for several months hoping to eat there. After living in NYC, I have a high standard for the pastrami sandwich. In fact, the pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli would probably be my go to last supper, death row meal. So you can imagine my excitment to eat at the Manhattan Grille. Could it be that I'd found a place with yummy foods that remind me of my favorite delis in the city? Sadly, I was let down. Ordered the Park Avenue Pastrami and a Reuben sandwich. Both come with chips and a pickle and I also ordered the tomato basil soup and chili. The order was to-go and when I got home to eat we had no pickles. That stinks, where was my half sour?!?! And the sandwiches were thin little things. Dude, where's the beef??? You cannot call yourself a Manhattan Grille and serve a puny sandwich! The tomato basil soup was fine but I prefer mine creamy. The chili was pretty good. It had beans and spaghetti in it so beware if you have problems with beans or pasta in your chili;) One thing I did like were the breads. The marbled rye and regular rye were both good. While the meat to bread ratio was not. May give it another chance but with so many sandwiches places in town I have a lot to try!

I had the lunch special Manhattan Cordon Bleu ! Very good! Served with the house signature mustard sauce! Amazing! Kids had the potato bacon soup & enjoyed it! Hubby had the roast beef & also said it was good!

I used to love this place! I ordered breakfast and lunch from here several times over the past year and had it delivered to my house. Cheap and delicious. Recently, I attempted to order my usual breakfast and received a phone call a few minutes later saying that they would not deliver to my location unless the order was $20. I informed them that I have ordered several times from there without an issue (never exceeding $15), and they told me that it has always been their policy. Very strange, since it was never their policy the past 5 times I have gotten food delivered. Very disappointing!

This place would get 5 stars, but delivery is around the one hour mark. Fantastic selection, great deli sandwiches and fantastic burgers. Soup is always good there from what I have had. Give it a try if you don't mind waiting or can plan ahead for a lunch delivery in downtown Louisville

I would happily give Manhattan Grill more stars because the food is delicious but the delivery time is atrocious. I know from past experiences that it takes about an hour, however, it had been a while since I had ordered and hoped that they would have worked out the kinks. Wishful thinking. Today my food took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive. I called twice to follow up, only more delays. When the delivery guy finally arrived at a far less speed than a slow crawl, I expressed my frustrations with the delivery time. I know that it wasn't his fault exactly but he really offered no words of doing anything about the issue (ie- I'll talk to my manager about the issue). When another co-worker saw that I had ordered from the establishment, they asked for a menu. I said that I would give them mine since I wouldn't be ordering from them again. I said that it takes about an hour usually for delivery to which the delivery driver said "no, that's not common." I said that it was in my experience and he asked "why do you keep ordering from us then?" Good question delivery driver man, good question.

Great place and everything is very tasty and lots of options. I have never been to the actual location just order delivery and they are usually and hour, which it has on the website or a little earlier. I suggest ordering in the morning and setting the time you want you food deliver, because that works great and the food is very prompt. They have great salads, fresh fruit, sandwiches cold and hot. The chocolate chip cookies are very good!

I went here for lunch with my coworker on a Monday. I ordered the corned beef sandwich with chips and he had a hamburger with chips. Traditional delis usually give you a ton of meat on the sandwich, so much so that you have to unhinge your jaw to get your mouth around it. But unfortunately at Manhattan that is not the case. I had about an inch worth of corn beef on my sandwich and all it came with was a little bit of lettuce, tomato and mayo. It was just a regular piece of white bread cut in half. I get twice as much food at potbelly or Subway for less money. I could have made a better sandwich at home for far less money! Would I go back? I think you can figure that out yourself!
