As our very first B&B experience, we easily fell in love with the place... As we walked in to check in, we were led to an array of delicious cookies, salted caramels (could not eat enough of these), and almond bark (also could not get enough of these) for the snacking. We took a quick jaunt through the common areas and found plenty of candy dishes filled with all sorts of goods, and various tasty dessert drinks in every room. (And some nice bourbon as well!) Breakfast was tasty, and we had the pleasure of many options (cakes, breads, and fresh eggs/sausage/bacon, fruit, etc.). Woodhaven does not skimp when it comes to taking care of their guests... And the rooms were unbelieveably clean... one would think that hotels/B&Bs/inns would miss some dusting such as the top of a picture frame... but even that was spotless! (Yes, we were testing just because we could). Verdict: Great food, excellent hostess, lots more great food, comfortable beds, great food.. did I mention the food? I'm just hoping our first B&B experience didn't ruin us for all others to come. This was excellent! Book some time here if you're in the area!

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend here. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was beautiful. Staff just too nice. Can't wait to go back.

Inn at Woodhaven is the best B&B in Louisville! My husband and I have been regularly coming for overnight "vacations" for years, after much sampling of other local B&Bs. Woodhaven offers the finest amenities at the lowest rate! The house and rooms are all beautiful, and the innkeeper spares no expense in pampering her guests. There are always freshly baked cookies upon arrival. Breakfast is wonderful, with plenty of options. Our favorite room is the attic suite, simply amazing. The Cottage and the Derby Room are also very nice. There is nothing bad to say about this place...HIGHLY recommended.

A lovely B&B experience set in the heart of St Matthews. While it was surrounded by apartment complexes I never minded. The main house is a beautiful 1850's mansion tastefully decorated. Our room was small, but quaint and comfortable which is what you want from a B&B. Love the little attention to details like the complimentary liqueurs in the sitting room and the teapots everywhere. Breakfast was lovely. Cooked fresh every morning and you can even have them deliver it to your bedroom. We partook of the tea service which was great. The owner obviously takes great pride in making sure that you enjoy yourself while staying at her home. Price was very reasonable. I'd stay here again, no question.

I just love this place! My husband and I come here fairly regularly for a little r and r getaway. Sometimes a one night getaway is every bit as good as a longer vacation, especially if you stay at Woodhaven. The house is gorgeous and decorated with some amazing antiques. We love the Attic Suite just because it is so quiet and spacious. There are three sleeping areas so it is perfect for a family. I have a fondness for what I call the "Heidi " room. It is a smaller room with an antique full sized bed, and an intriguing round window that overlooks the front of the house. The breakfasts are exceptional! Marsha fixes a mean caramel French Toast, and the hash brown pie was equally yummy! For an overnight get away or a long weekend you can't go wrong with the Inn at Woodhaven.

Woodhaven is a great B&B nestled in Louisville quaint suburb of St. Matthews. The Derby Room in the Carriage House was a relaxing, private get-a-way for my wife and me. The room was very clean and neat. Breakfast is amazing. The carmel french toast is unforgettable! Marsha and her staff have homemade cookies, cold drinks and cocktails available in the common areas for guests around the clock. We booked online with absolutely no problems. Marsha called a few days ahead of time to confirm our stay. She and her staff were most accommodating. It was a great stay. The price was very reasonable. We were in town for a wedding and the rates here were equal to or less than the room that had been reserved for the out of town wedding guests. We highly recommend Woodhaven for your stay in Louisville.

Just came back from a weekend wedding and stayed an extra night to visit the Maker's Mark Distillery (which was awesome) but I did not want to leave this awesome bed and breakfast! It was soooo charming and cute and everything was fantastic! We stayed in the Derby Room and everything was fantastic! The breakfast is phenomenal too! Can't wait to come back!

This is the MOST charming and lovely experience I have ever had in the bed and breakfast world! Home away from home! And the food!!!!! It's unbelievable. Marsha is an artist in the kitchen. Every detail appointed. Can't wait to go back in December!
