Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Food was good. Service was average. The area of town looked a bit shady. We went for dinner and we enjoyed it but I think the lunch buffet would have been nicer.

It was 8 pm and my friend and I were at the end of our first leg of our 24 car ride to Houston. We were starving and looking for a quick place to eat when we were recommended Hometown Pizza by our hotel front desk lady. Now, were New Yorkers so our expectations for pizza may be automatically higher that some. But this place did the job. I ordered the chicken artichoke pizza and it was pretty good. It had a good amount of spices on it and it was really cheesy (think Little Caesars amount of cheese here) but it was surprisingly small for a personal size. The pizza kind of reminded me of a frozen pizza, but the good kind of frozen pizza. The best part about the place is the Happy Hour specials. They had a long list of bottled beers for $2, which even included some IPAs. Get a few of the Hipster Repellant IPAs and then a pizza and you'll leave happy

It was my first time eating here and I thought it was about average. I hate here during lunch time on a Friday and the place was packed. I waited in line at the buffet for about 5 minutes just to get to a line up of about 5 pizzas. However the pizza was good but really thin. I would like the place more of the had a larger variety. The service was also kind of slow, but at the same time they were packed.

Very disappointed with the service. We had a large group so expected it to take awhile, but 2 hours after being seated many other patrons had arrived, been served food, finished their meal, and left while some at our table still waited for food. Rather than apologizing for the 2 hour delay, the staff actually seemed upset that we were there. No effort to explain the delays, very little attention at all. When questioned, the manager became defensive rather than trying to help. The waitress seemed very inexperienced and I think was trying her best, but there was no management assistance.

Had the opportunity to visit and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with our server Haley. She was very bubbly and full of spunk that made our dining experience very pleasant and memorable. The food was filling and normal fanfare but above average. The decor is ok and the establishment was clean. I have no complaints and will visit again. Thanks

Staying at a nearby hotel, and was told this place was pretty good - walking distance. Arrived at 7:30 on a Tuesday night and not very busy. Very clean and friendly environment. At least 6 flat screens with 2 at the bar. Staff that wasn't with anyone was busy cleaning. I was greeted and seated immediately and drink order filled promptly. Very polite and cheery. Ordered the Meatball appetizer and the boneless chicken wings. The meatballs were very tasty and the sauce good but slightly sweet. The portion was plentiful. Served with garlic bread, there wasn't enough sauce for dipping. Down side. I have been eating the meatballs, wrote this entire review, and the server has just now checked in with me and delivered my chicken order. I ordered the boneless wings plain, and they were served piping hot and lots of them. Tender and not at all dry. Good job. Down to me and 2 other guests. The staff is scrubbing (not just mopping) the floor. Props for a spotless and inviting business. Tip. Spend a little more time checking on your guests. I'd be willing to try again and see how the pizza is. I wouldn't make a special trip. Food. 7/10 Service 4/10 Cleanliness 10/10. Side note. As I was finishing, the bar filled with people watching the game. Yelling loud enough to block out any other sound. Concrete floors and metal ceiling make it an echo chamber. Perhaps some sound absorbing materials? Or don't come during sporting events.

Colleagues wanted to have buffet lunch here. Place was about half full, tiny buffet offering, five pizza's, lasagna and meatballs, along with dinky salad bar. Upon being seated, we went to buffet line, NO PIZZA, completely empty. Ask the busy staff and they barked we'll get some asap. 15 minutes later I watched them start to make the pizza's and then put them on the 5-8 minute conveyer oven. By the time they brought pizza out, which was 28 minutes after our arrival! Everyone in the place was in line and all they brought out was 2 cheese only pizzas. Eventually paid and left without eating anything but 3 meatballs. This was a party of 5, bill = $50+ for literally nothing! WOW, this place has to be better normally, maybe just a bad day for both us and them. Nice apologetic waitress, for what that's worth

We visited this restaurant over the past weekend while showing pigs at the NAILE (close to the KY Expo Center...8 minute drive, tops). I had called ahead to let them know we would have a group of 20, and I gave them an approximate arrival time. We arrived 30 minutes after I had anticipated, but they did not have the table cleared and ready for us (there was only one other patron in there at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night). They cleared the table for us to sit down. Our waitress took drink orders, but didn't ask if we wanted to order appetizers at that time. When drinks arrived, we then ordered appetizers. We had to flag her down to let her know that we were ready to order our food too at that time. We had 8 kids in our group; you would think that would mean get our food out to us quickly at that time in the evening. We had cheesy garlic bread (delicious), breadsticks (delicious), some salads (I didn't order these, so can't vouch for them), pizza (very good), and some pasta dishes (can't vouch for those items). The bathrooms were nice and clean. They had an A rating for health code inspections (I like the big sign by the door that explains this and their score).

I must admit that I was expecting less than average customer service but after my experience here I will never assume based on other reviews. Haley went above and beyond our needs and her attitude towards customers is a prime example of why this place should be proud to employ her. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items and we loved her southern hospitality mentality. Very attentive and she didn't disappear like places we've been to before. Pizza was tasty and bursting with an array of the veggies we requested. They have seemed to iron out the wrinkles from our previous visit, therfore they get the most allowable number of stars! Thanks for the A+ customer service and thanks for making us look forward to our next visit!

The pizza was pretty good. The reviews were mixed so I was hesitant to try. I wasn't disappointed. Better than chain pizza. Great thick crust. Could have been a tad more veggies on there.

Expectations met, nothing more, nothing less. Does good business with the locals at lunch.

Perfectly standard middle of the road pizza. Nothing to see here. It is 3 doors down from my house and sometimes I would rather have Papa Johns.., if that says anything.

Had the absolute most WORST experience at this piece of junk place last Sunday. Party of 5, we were the 3rd table to take a seat. We weren't given silverware or menus, we got up to get them ourselves! the waitress was HORRID! No manners! Any of them! My spouse & I only ordered hot sandwiches - which came out 1.5hrs later and were COLD! I'm not one to complain on food, if it's good, I'll eat it! But it was beyond pure disgust and did not even look the least bit appetizing. The rest of our family ordered a pizza pie AND cheese sticks and well, that came out way before ours. It really sucks how customers of that place had to ask for the food hours after the order was placed. Too bad the waitress couldn't ask for help if needed because d*mn well the few employees there that day were just joking around "playing" in the back. Pathetic. Not to mention dude in there w/a greasy ponytail failed to look presentable for work too. Wow! I'll take my services elsewhere. Didn't even deserve 1 star.

I'm always a big fan of anything that has "choke ya" cheese on it and man, their cheese sticks do not disappoint. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and Wine Down Wednesday specials offer $3 glasses of wine. This was my first time, but I'll definitely be returning.

The pizza is very reminiscent of Pizza Hut. The people were nice enough, although they screwed up the charge on my card.

The pizza beats any national chain, but hard to compete w/ places like Boomboz. Take-out order was about a 40-min wait! Salad dressing is pre-packaged and flavorless. Still, it's local and friendly.

There were many good and bad things about this place. It all averages out to be OK... The good: Pizza. The pizza was really quite good. I've had better from specialty places, but not from a more "fast food" type of pizza place. The girlfriend also loved it. And, we each got a free chocolate chip cookie out of it. Hell yeah! The bad: Service. For as few of tables as she had, our server was way too absent. And seemed put out when we asked for refills on drinks. The ambiance was that of a school gym, being TOO open and devoid of decoration. And the place echoed. The lady and I both jumped when people yelled at the TV. The ugly: The people watching the basketball game on a Friday afternoon. Those were some weird people...

LOCAL FLAVOR!! Large juicy wings and tangy sauce. Not just your family pizza place. This place has a FULL BAR and HD TV's. I was just passing through town but I could see that this place has everything to be a great local hang out....

Overall very good experience. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Rodney and Shelby were great. Highly recommend.

Terrible customer service, slow delivery, and mediocre food. I ordered a medium pizza, appetizer size bacon cheese fry and a turkey wrap. The pizza was the only thing correct but it was cold upon delivery, they threw a handful of cheese fries in with the wrap (I was only charged $1.99 for the side order a biting for the handful and not what I ordered.), and a turkey club. The pizza is similar to Pizza Hut, but worse and it was cold. The wrap was soggy, and I wasn't given a fork for the pasta salad. The food was delivered 45 minutes after I ordered it when I was at a hotel one tenth of a mile from the restaurant. I was told I could pay with a $50 but when the delivery guy showed up he only had maybe $13 in change for a $20 order. He wanted to take the 50 and return with change, but I opted to just give my card over the phone. When I ordered, I was placed on hold three times mid order, and when I called back to explain that the food was wrong the response was rude, and hostile. I figured ordering from this place would be a quick and easy meal while I'm stopped in Louisville for the night, but it looks like I'm going to have to go somewhere else for something edible. McDonald's sounds gourmet at this point. I'd rather dig into my dogs food.
