Awesome little hole-in-the-wall bar with surprisingly good food at reasonable prices. Three of us came here on a Saturday around 6:30. There was hardly anyone in here. We found seats right away, and our drinks our food all came out quickly. I had the Peach Old Fashioned to drink which was good, though I didn't taste much bourbon. We started with the Beer Cheese Pretzels for an appetizers. The beer cheese is excellent and has a spicy kick (it is cold FYI). For entrees, we had the PBR pulled chicken sandwich, the meatloaf sandwich, and the pulled pork sandwich with fries and macaroni and cheese as sides. Everything was really good. I highly recommend the mac and cheese. My only complaint was that it was freezing cold inside. It was a cold December night and it didn't feel like there was any heat on. Servers were wearing jackets and patrons had on coats - yes, big, puffy, winter coats. I kept my coat on and was still cold. We didn't hang out very long after our meal, but Hilltop looks like a fun place to spend a few hours having drinks. They have tons of board games and life size jenga. This was my first time here and I'm looking forward to coming back to hang out and try more menu items.

Very nice restaurant. I tried the grilled cheese and it was awesome, the same for the smoked pulled pork sandwich.

I was so surprised by this spot! Some friends and I stopped by for a drink around 10 pm on a Thursday when every other bar in the neighborhood was closed. This place was happening! I loved the bartender in overalls and the people who all knew each other and were regulars. The best was a regular guy who is insane on the ping pong table! People were lining up to play him; he was too fun. I definitely will go back!

How I forgot to write my review about this right away in March is beyond me. During a happy birthday celebration we stumbled in at 1:00am on a Saturday Night and the place was full of hipsters. I was a tad scared because I'm just an east end girl who rarely goes out late anymore but I snagged a table and my GF who used to wait tables took our orders and delivered them to the bar. With 8 of us eating and drinking her going back and forth was much faster than waiting for them to see us with it being so busy. Hipsters DO know how to make food. I can't complain about any of it. Chili Cheese Fries Chicken & Waffles Beer Cheese A more "local" way to end your night of party time than steak and shake.

Absolutely one of my favorite places to go in Louisville! Their food is simple but delicious. They offer a lot of house made items such as their beer cheese and all the sauces you find on your table. All equally flavorful and delicious. Their house-smoked pulled pork (they also have wings, turkey and chicken that are smoked) is my favorite. The majority of the time I order the cheese quesadilla and add the pork to it. Holy moly it's good! I've recommended that dish to at least 3 or 4 friends who were new to Hilltop and have received only rave reviews. Foods I've also enjoyed are the pretzel and beer cheese, chicken tender basket, and the mac-n-cheese. As far as drinks go, they have a full bar. My go-to is the Crab Apple. It's Crabbie's ginger beer and Redd's apple ale mixed. I believe that was an in-house creation. LOVE!!! There are several other drink creations available and I know they are scrumptious according to my company's comments. This is for sure an eat, drink & be merry tavern. Ping pong, human-sized Jenga, "put the ring on the hoop game" (I don't know the name of it. Hahaha!), and board games are available to play. They also have TVs scattered throughout the building including one huge screen in the big dinning room. I also appreciate how local art is displayed all over the walls. It's awesome they support local artists! The music is always terrific. It's ranged from 80s, Indie, 90s alternative, to even classic old school jazz. I'd really give this place 10 stars if I could. Yes, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get service right away if they are swamped. However, they always get to you as soon as they can and do a great job! Patience is a virtue. :)

We came here for a friends birthday. Super chill atmosphere and I liked that they had enough space for groups. The hubs and I got pretzels and beer cheese for an app and their beer cheese was not at all what I was expecting. It was cold and not smooth, kind of the best way to describe it. But the flavor was great. You get two ball park pretzels which were massive. The chicken bbq sammie was amazing and the Mac and cheese was great with a little kick to it. I really enjoyed the place overall but the service left a little to be desired. The waitress was really slow, although the food was not. We may be back.

I absolutely love this bar. We start my birthday here every year, and for good reason. The atmosphere is great, plenty of room and plenty of seating. It's great for groups. They have ping pong and tons of board games to play. That's right, board games. They have a closet brimming with the things. And let me tell you, if you think you're not a fan of board games, just start playing with all your close friends and have a couple drinks. You can't not have fun! And the food. Oh man, the food is awesome. Not what you'd expect at all from a dive bar. Everything I've tried from the menu has been great, and they have my favorite pretzel and beer cheese in town. And you get two huge pretzels with that order. And then you eat them both, because they're delicious!
(5)Stephanie M.
A great neighborhood bar! They have good bar food, reasonably priced drinks, good people who don't want any drama, games and a TV!!! Whoa! Hehe. This would be a good bar to take someone who is new to the area. :)
(4)Chelsea H.
I met an old friend & her new fiancé here one night for dinner & a few drinks. They're regulars at Hilltop; I assumed because they live literally a five minute walk down the road (three cheers for no DUI's!). Come to find out, that's not the only reason. The bartender, MJ (as well as the rest of the employees) had an astounding personality. Things like this automatically excite me about a restaurant. Not to mention, she made a great bourbon & lemonade! & only gave me half as weird of a look as all the others when I've asked for that cocktail. ;) I highly recommend sitting at the bar with MJ. She's fantastic! I wasn't too hungry in particular, but I needed to try something. I went with popcorn shrimp & fries. Delicious. My friends salad she ordered looked fresh, & she was very pleased. Another reason I assume she's a regular. I can't quite give it 5 stars because it wasn't mind blowingly delicious... But service was amazing, drinks were strong, & the company was good. Come on Yelp, why can't I do 4.5?!
(4)Misha M.
Great place!!! Meatloaf sandwich the best!! They smoke all of the meat here so it's really fresh. I had the pork tacos and loved them! The only thing I would change is the choice to put lettuce, tomatoes etc on the burgers but the burger itself was really good. Fun atmosphere and good service!!!!
(5)Kathy V.
I can't comment on the food, but Hilltop is a decent place. It took a bit of a while for me to get my drinks, despite no one else waiting to order and several bartenders behind the bar. The drinks were well made and perfectly priced. It space is much bigger than I anticipated. I am from WI, so generally my internal temperature seems to run warmer than most people I know in Louisville. But even *I* was chilly while we were here. Very cold. But I wouldn't be against coming back here, and trying their food.
(3)Samantha F.
Interesting place! Crowded but fun, snagged a table near the bar. We got drinks from the bar fairly quickly and sat for a bit people watching. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but since we were in the area it was a nice pit stop
(4)Brian K.
Everyone has their own set of criteria when rating an establishment. Often times, it's intrinsic. You weigh the quality of the food with the prices. The location, wait times, noise levels, service...on and on. This place is tops for me. The food is ridiculous, everything is top notch. Close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed, Friendly and attentive servers. There is always a drink special that seems too good to be true. The atmosphere tends to skew towards a trendy, eclectic crowd and everyone I have engaged with has been friendly and accommodating. This location has seen it's occupants come and go over the years but I really, really hope that Hilltop is here is stay. Its all about finding the right formula amongst a wide range of variables and to me, Hilltop Tavern gets it right.
(5)Maureen O.
Excellent beer selection and fun environment! I mean really fun. Like there are ping pong tables and boardgames.
(4)Andy B.
I love restaurants, and I love bars, but Hilltop is the first "Bar" that I've fallen in love with. If I want a delicious pub dinner, or a different take on 'British' food, I'lll go to the Irish Rover, but if I want the experience of a pub, in Louisville, I'll head to Hilltop. They've got the essence of comfort food down to a 'T,' and there's beers and drinks to complement every drink.
(4)Stacey N.
Went with a group to catch up with them and have a place not too crowded. They accommodated the group well but will not split checks we were told. The food was just ok. Wings were pretty good but had too much sauce even though I asked for light sauce. The macaroni had too much pepper and was not brought out till after I finished my meal. The beer cheese was not something to order again. The prices are good and I noticed they have board games for kids which would be great for families. Staff was OK and I may give them another chance due to a great location.
(2)Dani S.
I only came here because they had food. I drank half of my beer, because I just wasn't in the mood to drink. I initially ordered pretzels with beer cheddar dip, because I just wanted a snack. The pretzels were warm and tasty but they served the dip cold. It was a huge turn off! I actually sent it back and asked for something else. The crowd that hangs around this place are sketchy and the lady bartender working was grumpy. Not my favorite place in Louisville.
(3)Mark V.
This may be one of my new favorite hangouts. It's an inexpensive, fun neighborhood bar. We walked right in and grabbed a table on a Saturday night and were quickly greeted by a friendly waitress. They have a nice craft beer selection, tasty apps like beer cheese and pretzels, and fried Mac n cheese balls. I had the special that night, which was an amazing Reuben sandwich made with their own pulled pork BBQ. PLEASE put that on the regular menu! We will be back!
(4)Melanie K.
Been to the hill multiple times and there is nothing special about the top. This tavern is a great local watering hole. Just across the street from the ever infamous Silver Dollar, Hilltop Tavern holds it's own in keeping to local vibe and not so much fuss. I have never had bad service at this bar. although like others say it takes a bit of time to get just drinks. Although there is a lot of space and multiple size rooms that make Hilltop great for groups there is just one bar. One bar to serve them all, which creates a bottle neck (pun intended) keeping your beer just another couple minutes from quenching your thirst. The food is pretty standard bar food, nothing fancy, just a lot of fried treats. Don't miss out on those fried Oreos for a late night dessert. The trivia nights are pretty hopping here. So if you are looking to have a impromptu or planned meet up with friends Trivia night (which I believe is Sunday) is an inexpensive and low key way to get everyone together. Nothing to terrible and nothing to fancy about Hilltop Taven, but come on we don't all need to over achieve like some bars (cough cough across the street).
(3)Jennifer D.
Best fries in town hands down! Had the BBQ sandwich and it was extremely good! I suggest mixing the sauces together personally. The service is ok, but only once you have their attention. It takes them a while to notice you sitting there. Also, if you're just wanting to eat and have a couple drinks come earlier as the rowdy crowds converge when it gets dark.
(4)Amy C.
Great neighborhood bar with friendly staff and great atmosphere.
(5)Randy E.
Good food and friendly staff. Try the beer cheese bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, it is excellent!!! The spicy green beans are very good too! I'll be back.

It's actually quite alarming how much I enjoy this place. It's almost like...someone crawled into my head and made a restaurant/bar based on my preferences. - Nice area? Yep. Love Frankfort Avenue. - Cool decor? Yep. The artwork is funky and neat. - Outside seating? Yep. And again, on Frankfort Avenue. Good people watching. - Flowing beer? Yep. Good selection, too. - Good food? Yep. Not amazing, but really solid bar food. - Anything else? Yep. Ping Pong table and a ton of board & card games, if you wish. Oh, and they have TVs if you want to just chill and watch baseball or something. Which I love, as I'm a huge sports fan. The menu is really neat. They have wings and shrimp and BBQ. But they also have a meatloaf sandwich, which is turbo cool. That's what I got, and it was great. Hard to dislike this place. It only gets 4* because the food was pretty good. It isn't incredible, but then it *IS* just a bar, so maybe I'm being overly critical. Because of the food, good drink selection, decent prices, and the countless games to play, this is a great place to take friends and spend a whole evening. It is definitely worth planning an evening here with friends. You won't be disappointed.

I've now been here a handful of times and feel as though I can finally post a review. It's a neighborhood type of bar (that's why I gave it a few times before reviewing) and it really is a wonderful spot. I typically come for post work drinks, but I have been on a late Saturday night and this place definitely gets busy! Everyone is very friendly and everyone seems to know each other here. I've only been here for drinks so I can't comment on the food (although everything looks good!); they have board games and a life-sized Jenga game, which I am hoping to play sometime in the near future. It's definitely a great spot to enjoy a drink with friends with no fuss. Definitely recommended.
(4)Autumn L.
Well, they have Crabbies ginger beer so that's a major plus as that's the only beer I've ever tried and like (fortunately the Wine Rack sells it too)! And they have a yummy salad for when you're trying not to eat and gain five pounds in one sitting... When I'm ok with being a fat ass their fried shrimp is good :) Another awesome attribute is that I can walk here. I love bars like this... And this place is awesome. It's friendly and I love watching the Cards play here (basketball). There are awesome stickers on the paper towel dispenser and sometimes there's a life altering quote in the bathroom stall. (I've had a few crabby beers already :) I forgot to mention the Apple cucumber salad ... Mmmmmm

We came to Hilltop to celebrate a going away party. There were probably around 25 people in our group and loads of others in the bar watching the end of the U of L game and then later the UK game. It was packed but the service at the bar was still solid and pretty fast! I think Hilltop is a fun hangout spot on Frankfort Ave because they have a ping pong table, three different areas to chill and also card/board games. Oh, and of course tvs for watching games and such. Reasonable prices and a pretty tasty full menu (from a previous visit where i was hungry). Try the fried mac and cheese bites, you will not be disappointed.
(4)Aysia H.
This place is good for a late night dinner! I got the chicken and waffles ($9) which comes with four waffles, four chicken tenders (no bones, yay!), and a caramel syrup. The syrup was very different and tasty. They don't have butter for the waffles, but the caramel syrup makes up for it, trust me. I so had a Wells banana bread beer on draft which was $6 and worth every penny. The bar itself is a great size and friendly staff as well.
(4)Darrell H.
This place is a mix of great food, local art, and fast service in a dive atmosphere. The seating was a little uncomfortable, but plenty of room. There it's a huge TV for sports fans. The pretzel and beer cheese app was awesome. I had the wings which are smoked, then fried before serving. The music was a little loud for my wife. I didn't mind though.
(3)J F.
Stopped in for a few drinks before meeting friends across the street for dinner. Ended up wanting to blow off dinner and stay. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff that knows their stuff, excellent beer selection. Felt comfortable there rather quickly. Great Local that I wish was a bit closer to home, will be back next time I'm in town.
(4)Beth G.
Perfect for a first date, a night out with friends, or even a solo dinner while sitting at the bar. They supply their patrons with a floor to ceiling shelves of board games, ping pong table, and even a gigantic version of jenga. Don't be shy to ask the bartenders for the game Cards Against Humanity, they keep it stashed away behind the bar. They have a wide selection of beers including gluten free beers. They also have a rotating special of house made fruit infused alcoholic beverages. The food is reasonably priced and fresh. I only wish they made their pico de gallo(comes with the quesadilla) as a one of their sides it's so delicious. The bartenders are super attentive, which is absolutely amazing as they also play the role of server and busser as well. Thank you Hilltop Tavern! You are my first review!!!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Erika R.
I've given this place three try's now, and it's been consistently gross. Sticky bar tops, run down ambiance, food that is typical frozen then fried greasy spoon dive eats. Not sure what the hype is about this place, other than maybe it's cheap, so it attracts a like-minded clientele. Avoid this place unless you have a bottle of Tums and Advil at home.
(1)Matt D.
One of my favorite bars in Louisville. Awesome atmosphere free board games, ping pong and not overpriced unlike the bar across the street.
(5)Kristie T.
Went there Saturday night only because Silver Dollar closes at 2 and we weren't ready to go home. I was glad we did because it helped me find a new spot I'd like to go to again. We got our drinks fast and the artwork around the place kept our conversations flowing. It's the first place I remember seeing PBR on tap so I thought that was awesome. I didn't try any of the food, but they served it until around 3am and the food I saw in front of people looked fantastic. I'm a huge lover of nachos so that's what I was checking out the most. They were huge.
(4)Christina S.
What a pleasant surprise! Friendly service and the food was very good! I was really pleased that most everything was fresh/ made in house.
(5)Shayne G.
I've been to Hilltop probably 8 or 9 times altogether. My most recent experience may have pulled me to not come back. I ordered the bacon beer cheese pretzel burger and a former favorite, their chili cheese fries, and some cocktails. It was moderately busy (the bar was, anyway) but hardly anyone was eating yet our wait for food was still about forty minutes. For one cheeseburger and some fries. Pathetic. I've worked in the industry for 9 years and if you can't crank out a burger in less than that time, with a restaurant that isn't even busy, you should probably find a new profession. Burger - I liked the two-hearted beer cheese (no hint of two-hearted flavor, though) and the bacon was decent. The pretzel bun was fine. THE MEAT, aka the entire point if the damn thing, was drastically under weight. It's listed as 1/2 lb before cooking. The tiny thing they sent out to was way over cooked (I asked for medium, received well done just shy of being burnt on the outside. ) I can only assume it was forgotten on the grill as the cook smoked a cigarette or, i don't know, played solitaire for I repeat FORTY MINUTES. Chili cheese fries - chili is good, too sweet to eat on its own but good with the fries. They used to have wavy cut fries that were a bit larger, sad to see they changed to some more generic cut. Still pretty decent. Margarita - hands down the worst margarita I've ever had. It tastes like either the tender forgot the recipe, or the recipe needs a DRASTIC overhaul. Literally terrible. Peach Ol' Fashion - best part of the meal. I'm a sucker for a decent old fashioned. Could use a little less simple syrup. Or none at all. Sorry guys. That burger was so terrible I can't justify coming back. Hope you get your kitchen staff straightened out.
(2)Dave P.
Very good draft beer selection and fantastic beer cheese burger. Eclectic clientele, young and old. Nice change up and cheaper than Silver Dollar
(4)Amanda L.
I was really disappointed with Hilltop Tavern. I've been twice now and both times the food has been a huge let down. The first time I had the vegetarian eggrolls, the cucumber apple salad and the macaroni and cheese. The eggrolls and salad were edible but were in no way memorable. The macaroni and cheese was good. The second time I had the wings and I thought they were awful. It's rare that I think back on a meal and feel ill but that was the case with the wings. I don't know if my friends and I just went on an off day because I've heard great things. After those two experiences, I don't think I'd go back. There are so many solid dining options in Louisville that I'd have a hard time giving this place a third try.
(2)Kayte J.
5 out of 5 is the best way to describe what the Skelton Brothers and Erika Skelton are doing down on Pope x Frankfort. Great late night happy hour and late night menu till the wee hours of the morning. Huge table of games and lovely artwork by Chris Chapel and other Louisville Natives.
(5)Carly S.
I love the Hilltop. As an avid board game enthusiast, this is the most fun bar! Food is delicious, and it is very reasonably priced. P.S. Don't play Cards Against Humanity. I already called dibs.
(4)Francesca H.
I love hilltop I'm always up there with my boyfriend. There food and drinks are phenomenal. This is definitely a cool/hipster bar.
(5)Tim B.
A great place that surprises and delights. After being unable to get into the silver dollar across the street, I Recently took my brother and girlfriend here. First impressions were not looking good, but I had the upper hand and had been here several times so I wasn't sweating. We were the only folks in the restaurant save 1 other table. We started with the wings as appetizers and beers. Somehow smoked and fried wings, they are awesome. I had the smoked PBR chicken sandwich. Again it was great. By the end of dinner this place was crowded, but not packed. It is a great place to stop in, enjoy dinner and drinks and just enjoy the night. It still comes up after several month how surprisingly good my brother and his girlfriend found this place. I highly recommend.
(5)Toree P.
If you are looking for a hole-in-the-wall, original place, with friendly staff and a great beer selection, then Hilltop Tavern is for you! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Thy have bar food and comfort food with some great random desserts. Their beers on tap and bottle selection rotates often and I love trying new and different beers. I'm so picky and tend to annoy bartenders with all my questions but their staff is knowledgeable and didn't seem annoyed at all! On top of the great food and drink options the atmosphere is fun and funky. It's very low key and you will see people in jeans and t-shirt and slacks and dresses (although the former is probably preferred). When you walk in the place is kind of dark but walk in like a regular and pick a seat. Be sure to check out the board game selection in the corner by the bar or play ping pong while you wait. All around great place to gab a beer with some friends!
(4)Tim W.
Smoked wings we're good. Service sucked as did the chilli fries with sweet sauce. I ordered just chilli and cheese. They're were only 5 reviews when I went here, all 5 stars. Had to have been friends!
(1)Abbey F.
This is a hole in the wall with less charm and higher beer prices than a normal dive bar. It's not terribly clean or nice looking and one of the two bathroom stalls was out of order. There is a broken door in the main seating area that swings freely and lets in a nice frozen breeze in winter. It's great for someone who lives within a block or two and just isn't interested in the Silver Dollar. The food is good, though.
(3)Rob D.
Good food and draught beer. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Not too noisy. Good addition to the 'hood.
(5)Bill M.
Our dinner group met here on a Tuesday night. Group of four couples; one a vegetarian and another is diabetic. Menu choices were varied with something for everybody. The Fall City Chili was amazingly good, and a good size serving. Chili with pulled pork- brilliant. The cheeseburger was tasty and the green beans as a side are cooked with hot peppers for a real zing. Our party also tried the Hot Brown and it was perfect. Room noise was at a minimum and we were actually able to hear our conversations (a rarity these days in most restaruants). Cost of dinner was very reasonable, especially concerning the high quality of the food. Service was perfect. Our party of 8 gives it a 10!
(5)Jessica B.
There's just something to be said for a good neighborhood bar and Hilltop has it all. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere. If you're looking for any of those things you absolutely cannot go wrong here. Just FYI, the beer cheese is cold...that threw me off a little bit, but it was still yummy!
(5)Edward R.
I come here regularly. I have searched closer to my house in Clifton for a good place to watch a game, have a beer, and get a bite to eat. So far Hilltop Tavern is the best to do so. Their beer selection is good, has rotating drafts, as well as plenty in the bottle. Their cocktails are okay, but most are to sweet for my taste. The service is consistently good, and even better if you realize that the people that work here do a little bit of everything (serving, bussing, drink making, etc.), and if you get their attention they will get you what you need ASAP. The food is consistent and what I expect from a tavern. Lots of fried selections which is ok with me, but from my experience in ordering from the menu I would stick with the BBQ and the Meatloaf sandwich. Don't come here expecting a light gourmet meal, but it is definitely solid cooking that fits the atmosphere. On that note the atmosphere is eclectic. You have your hipsters, your middle-aged neighborhood types, college kids, some young families. All in all you can get some good people watching in here. The artwork on the walls is, for the most part, good. I enjoy the animal pieces that are up right now ( My wife and I have talked about buying one). Now for watching games, I think Hilltop has a pretty good setup. They have a bunch of TVs over the bar, and they will suffice for your average run of the mill glance at a scoreboard. In the room behind the bar they have a projector setup and it's covering an entire wall. This makes it great for watching things like say the World Cup (Go USA!) Everyone in the room can see no problem. Overall, I'll probably stay a regular here.
(4)Kaitlin U.
This is one of my favorite bars in Louisville! Food is excellent, they have awesome chili and the Mac and cheese fritters are unreal (seriously--get them!). Always a great selection of beers with rotating handles and pint night every Thursday. They also have weekly food specials and awesome vodka and bourbon infusions. They've got an awesome selection of board games, life sized jenga, and ping pong! Great bar with great staff, definitely a place to check out!
(5)Amanda D.
This place is another Louisville diamond in the rough. It totes local artwork, happening jams and local musicians on the weekend and a lively quirky crowd. There's ample bar seating and ample group seating. I could see this place being crowded on weekends. They have ping pong and foosball and some yummy house specials. Bring your friends to another uniquely Louisville pub. This one!
(4)Jasmine A.
Yelp, I feel like you lead me astray on this one. So many five star reviews and I just don't understand why. My roommate and I popped in for dinner last week and I was disappointed with both the food and atmosphere. After peeking inside a dark, dungeon-like dining area, we opted to eat in one of the two outdoor tables. The prices were reasonably affordable but nothing really stood out to me on the menu, so I decided to take the advice of my fellow Yelpers. We ordered the Mac & Cheese fritters to split followed by the Meatloaf Sandwich and spicy green beans. The Mac & Cheese fritters tasted like cafeteria style mac and cheese that was fried. I wasn't impressed. The Meatloaf Sandwich wasn't terrible but I thought that the the texas toast was too buttery. Also, the green beans tasted canned. I understand that Hilltop Tavern is a pub, and offers pub food, but I would hardly call this place a diamond in the rough. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.
(3)Rachel E.
Went here for a New2Lou event and loved it. Great beer selection, multiple kinds of cider (for my seasonal/gluten free peeps!), and cheap signature cocktails. Good taste in music from old to new, board games, trivia night, and right between Sweet Surrender and Vines and Canines. I had Mac and Cheese balls for an app and they were to die for. Will definitely be back.
(5)Loren C.
Really friendly bar, with a great atmosphere. There are boardgames, a ping pong table, and foosball to enjoy (for free). The staff is always friendly. The drinks here are well made and decently priced. We've been back a few times, and the food remains really solid. I LOVE the chili, be warned it is pretty spicy. Also tried the grilled cheese, pretzels and beer cheese, and the meatloaf sandwich. All of which were great. We did order the mac & cheese fritters last time we stopped by (on the recommendation of a friend) and were not impressed. They were, by far, the worst thing we've tried on the menu. There is decent music kept at a reasonable volume to hold a conversation, and plenty of space to sit/move around. A great bar to order food and drinks, and then more drinks, and hang out with friends
(5)Mozil L.
Bar none best value for your money --- their chicken tenders appetizer. Can't beat the amount and the taste for like six bucks with a stick.
