Love this place. Great food....wonderful staff...ridiculously cheap prices! My favorites roast beef sandwich with mashers and gravy and the country ham....but everything is good.

Nothing fancy... Straight up bacon, eggs, grits, biscuits... Five dollars or less for a breakfast entre. I'd pay twice that for the good vibe and coziness of the place and staff. Totally terrific little dive. Short walk from downtown hotels. Why pay $18 for fancy eggs while be held hostage by the hotels? Stretch your legs and experience some local flavor!

Basic No Frills Cash Only Diner. they know how to cook crispy bacon right. Good grits, biscuits 7 out of 10. Corn syrup and non dairy creamer par for the course at this level. Pancakes were a dissapointment. Heavy and chewy, definitely the variety that calls to be drowned in corn syrup and butter to be tasty. Have the right expectations coming in the door to avoid dissapointment here. Very reasonable prices!

Love this place. Really reasonably priced diner food. Great for breakfast too! I've had their homemade bean soup w/ grilled cheese. Yum. Had grits (perfect not soupy), crisp bacon & egg for breakie. Staff super friendly. Clientele from all walks of life - all united in appreciation of good diner food. :)

I am settling in at four stars. The food gets a three- not because it isn't tasty, but because it isn't anything special. It is exactly what you would expect from your basic neighborhood diner. The service is a five without reserve. Very friendly, attentive, and always smiling! This goes a long way for me because I like feeling welcome and appreciated when I go into a diner. If that isn't your thing- it is cheap and satisfying either way.

Diner with a capital D. Sincerity at every stool. Menu changes haven't been considered since Watergate. Gravy is poured generously, and jello is served without irony.

Like a similar yelper, its 3 star food in a 5 star atmosphere. If you want an authentic american diner experience this is the place. The food is simple and pretty decent, but part of the fun of this place is the feeling of being in a place straight out of the mid 20th century. You get a full meal and a cup of coffee for under $10!

D. Nalley's is a great place to grab a good southern style breakfast for cheap. The servers are always great and food comes out quick even when they're completely full.

Great basic food, with breakfast anytime and very reasonable prices. Pancakes were a little heavy, but tasty. The french toast had good texture and flavor. The sausage patties were very dense. My roast beef and potatoes as well as Jana's burger and fries were decent. They have pie! I ran out of room. Drafty by the door--but that's a diner :) CASH ONLY, NO checks!
