This experience wasn't as good as last time. I thunk it was just the service and our waitress said they were short handed. Great home style food though.

I generally love Cracker Barrel. This particular restaurant had a poor cook, period! My husband ordered the multi-grain pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were hard as a rock and the bacon, overcooked beyond crispy. We both had lightly basted eggs and the yolks were hard, not soft like they should have been. I had sausage with my eggs....they only had a weird, spicy, red small patty, not links & it was inedible. Ewwwww.....what's going on Cracker Barrel?

I have always been a fan of Cracker Barrel. Their food is country and filling! You get large portions and it's always comforting. As you walk in you are greated by the country store. Candles to clothing, you can browse around before being seated or on your way out. This last time I was "eating healthy," so I got the grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. What's nice is that a majority of their menu is hearty country food, but they added a portion of less than 600 calorie options. I was nervous about my meal when my BF wanted to head there, but that healthy menu was great. They give you the calorie count of everything on it, even the sides. My BF has never ordered anything besides their chicken and dumplings...which heavenly!! All their sides are great as well.....I love their greens with apple cider vinegar.

This one is a good one, portions are generous and everything is fresh! Country fried steak is really good here! Good job CB!

I noticed that this particular Cracker Barrel is centralized to several different hotels around the area. I know that CB is a chain is restaurants, but ironically, this was my first time actually going into one. I think it is a great idea to have a gift store as a way to pass time when waiting for your table. Luckily, we didn't have to wait too long after putting our names down for a table. It appears as though they make a concerted effort to turn around those tables quickly. When we sat down, the menu reminded me of something that you would find at IHOP or Denny's. However, with that said, their American cuisine choices are affordable and ample. I had their Saturday day special which was a chicken and rice dish. I also got a cup of their beef noodle soup. I didn't realize their portions are really large. I think the chicken and rice dish was plenty especially when it comes with either rolls or cornbread. The chicken and rice dish was pretty good. It also came with 2 sides in which I chose green beans and assorted vegetables as a healthy choice. Our waitress forgot my soup but she acknowledged she forgot. I appreciated her honestly considering how busy this place was during a holiday weekend. I would definitely return to another Cracker Barrel if I am craving some country cooking.

It's cold outside and I'm hungry! What better place to warm up and stuff my tummy with great down home cook'n than the local Cracker Barrel! Right? The fire is roaring! The hum of conversation and sliverware clinking against plates fill the air as we make our way to table! Service was instant and the waitress is friendly. Raspberry tea is a must ASAP! Salad was perfect! However, my steak was far from it! Over cooked and a horrible cut and yesterday's baked potato reflected the good ol days of leftovers!! I should have went with the Uncle Hershel's breakfast! That will teach me to try something new! Things where going well until then! The waitress brought us our check before we where finished! Then, when we wanted to order desert.... She was no where to be found! I had to tag another waitress and ask for desert and drink refills! So sad!

Finally!! A Cracker Barrel that delivered quality food and non-crappy service!! We were staying in the Hilton right down the street, so when my husband found out, it was all he could talk about for the next morning. I did NOT want to go since every other CB I've experienced in the past has been terrible (see other reviews) due to the service. However, this CB was on par. The food was solid, the service was good, and they had no problem with waiting for our friends who were late because they went to the wrong CB. Whoops!! That particular morning, that waitress was amazing. I wish I could remember her name, but she had long blond hair and was really, really awesome. She was quick and nice, and didn't mind us waiting to order. The food (pancakes, french toast, and eggs) were all solid choices, but I loved the biscuits and the hash brown casserole. I would bathe in that hash brown casserole. YUM!!! I am still not a huge fan of all Cracker Barrels, but this particular one gets my vote!!

Good service, got the food really fast. My brother ordered the fried chicken with spicy honey sauce. The picture looks like two juicy, big bone in chicken pieces and what he got was two smallish pieces of boneless chicken. The sauce and chicken tasted good but not what he was expecting. I ordered the Roast Beef and it was good.

It's Cracker Barrel........... what else can I say. I've been to a lot of these and they are all very consistent in quality and service in each state I've encountered one. Great traveling stop since they tend to migrate near interstate ramps. Love the coffee. Love the home cooked lard like flavors in the food and love the biscuits! The breakfast is always a treat. Lunch is good but I always feel let down with a dinner.

(Insert "you're a cracker Brian so of course you love this place" joke) But, damn, it's true. Crackers love this place. Especially overweight ones. We stopped in here for our pre-Derby breakfast and because we were waiting for the Lexus dealership down the street to get done with repairs. This is one place that I don't mind waiting for a table cause they have nice rocking chairs that you hang out in on the porch while you people watch. I had the Old Timer's Breakfast which was perfect. Two eggs over easy, sausage patties, grits, biscuits with gravy and Apple Butter. All that for less than $6. Solid!
