I mean what can I say that hasn't been said? Diner food at its best. My dad came here as a kid and he took me here for the first time last week. Employees were VERY friendly. I had the grilled cheese, plain, and it was the bomb dot com. Hit my craving with precision! I was satisfied and ill probably be back. With my dad. Fyi, you order at the counter and then find yourself a seat.

Something this cheap and close to campus- why did it take me three years to come here? The menu is full of cheap eats and cheap beer. You order at the bar, pick a table, and then wait until someone shouts your name to bring your food to you. We were here on a PACKED Tuesday night which I'm assuming had to do with pint night. From 5pm to close, domestics are $1.50 and crafts are $2.50. You just can't beat that! The meals we had are as follows: BLT and jalapeno poppers Reuben Cheeseburger and fries I loved everything I got to try and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. None of the food was very greasy (I was surprised) and it all came out fresh and quickly. I'll absolutely be back and I'm sure it won't be long. Anywhere you can get a good meal (and even a beer) for under $10 is great by me, not to mention how close it is to the university.

I went on pint night. $2.50 for a 16oz Stella draft! Can't beat it, I had an awesome cheese burger with lots of pickles, no fries but it was only $ 3.75. Super friendly staff. Nice and clean. The quintessential neighborhood bar! I love it!

Checks! It's a neighborhood diner/ bar and it does what it aims to perfectly! Yummy cheap food, no frills service, and a ton of regulars. I heard some awesome karaoke here on a Saturday afternoon.. Which felt early for karaoke to me, but hey I might have been a little hungover from the night before. Anyways it was entertaining and after I ate my hot wings and a salad I walked away a new woman.

We had the fish and onion rings. I got the German potato salad and it was more like mashed potatoes with other stuff in it. My friends got the onion rings. The food was really good. There was alot of cod.

Diner food for lunch? Yes, please! We ordered the beef vegetable soup (soup of the day) and the burgers. Tots split a grilled cheese and fries from the kid's menu. The soup packed with veggies in a spicy beef tomato broth was delicious on this cold rainy Sunday. Ended up taking it all to go because our tots were getting rambunctious. Note: Seat yourself, order at the bar, and the kitchen will call you when it's ready. Very friendly staff.

I love the homemade soups here. My favorites differ depending on my mood....Chili, Beef Veggie, Bean, and Beef Barley. Coupled with either a Bratwurst, Cheeseburger, or Fish Sandwich, and you have a slice of heaven. My kids LOVE their chicken strips. If I'm not driving, I'll pick between a stiff bourbon drink or one of their many beers on tap. This is the classiest hole-in-the-wall in Germantown. The new owners know how to treat you so you get that cozy feel at home/local watering hole regardless of how many times you've been there. There are several TVs for sports watching, ample parking, and a patio out back for smokers. Oh, and one last thing I almost forgot - ROLLED OYSTERS!!

Would like to give 3.75 stars. Had the fried Bologna sandwhich with fries and the chili cheese dog. The sandwhich and fries were good. Did not like the dog at all. Had a funny/off taste. Service was great and staff super friendly.
