Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We were here a month ago and had to wait over an hour to get our food. We were trying to get the road, so we thought this "takeout" place would be quick, but we were definitely wrong. We ordered two of the most simple items on the menu and watched four or five other couples get their food before we finally got our food. The food was decent at least, but not worth the wait.

Omg..not good at all....way over priced...$23 for 2/people for lunch specials...go up the road to China One good food, not rude, and priced for lunch

Strip mall Chinese food. Exactly what you expect for inexpensive, quick Chinese food. $5.99 for a small lunch buffet that comes with a fountain soda. Nothing fancy at all but the hot and sour soup was tasty and the 8-10 selections main dishes were all hot and good enough. Basically its got your standard beef and broccoli, chow mein, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken etc plus a couple soup choices. NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED

Was told this was great, but it is not even good. My husband likes the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, but the two dishes I have tried have been really bad. General Tso's Chicken shouldn't taste like vinegar. Yes, its probably considered a sweet and sour sauce, but the overwhelming flavor should not be vinegar. And there wasn't any heat even though I asked for extra spicy (know to ask for that in any Chinese restaurant in Lou as they all make it mild in this city). Yesterday I ordered War Su Gai, which at every other Chinese restaurant in Louisville is what was considered Almond Chicken where I am from). What I got was some concoction of breaded and fried chicken with vegetables and a brown sauce that had absolutely no flavor. None. Add that to the fried rice with the uncooked frozen peas and carrots and, well, you can get the idea. And the woman working there told me that's what they call War Su Gai there and no one like Almond Chicken anyway. Nice. And the Won Ton Soup was less then par as well. Broth was sort of chicken bouillon color, not much flavor. Won ton tasted like pasta dough with just a little tiny bit of meat in it. Skip this place and go somewhere, anywhere else.

This is the absolute best place to go for cheap, Americanized Chinese takeout. An absolute hole-in-the-wall with no shame. Sometimes the owners get their son to work the counter - and then you know you're at a legit place. Whether you get just an order of fried rice or forty-five orders of Four Seasons, they're either going to tell you it will take "five minute" or "ten minute" if they're busy. Get the BBQ spare ribs. You will feel your arteries clog and you won't even care if it kills you because you're already in heaven.

Standard strip mall Chinese place. They have a pretty standard menu. Nothing special about this place at all. The only reason I can think of that you would pick this place to order from is if you happened to be nearby. Also it's CASH ONLY, which is a big negative for me in terms of convenience.

The interior might not be fancy but the food is very good. They have a decent lunch buffet also.

Good food for take out. The buffet is good, but only at the peak of lunch. The beverage machine produces terrible soda, so I would reccomend can or bottle drinks. Lunch take out combinations are very resonably priced in the $5 range and dinner combinations are in the $7 range for the similar amount of food.

We eat her all the time and while it isn't very nice inside the food is really good and the price of the combo meals are really good.

I've been coming here for years. They finally broke down and started accepting credit/debit cards. The food is what you expect in a strip Chinese food place. It's still good and greasy and worth the 8 or 9 bucks on a Friday night.

For the price it's great. The people here are friendly and hard workers. Been going here for years.
