Had the pleasure of stopping here with my wife over the weekend--I received the best service from this location! I would gladly go here again for the level of service I received. Not to mention, the food was piping hot and fresh.

Service in drive thru was very quick and my order was accurate. Employees were fairly nice and clean cut. FOOD WAS ICE COLD!!! I was in a hurry and driving away, so I did not return for them to make it right. Debatable if I will stop by this location again. If you are a chili 5 way fan, you know it has to be smoking hot. These guys did not pass the test this trip. To be fair, I have been here several times now and never had a problem before.

Steak 'n Shake is a pretty decent fast food joint. It is probably my favorite fast food in London. The drive-thru is usually pretty slow, but I normally eat inside the restaurant. It is almost always crowded and loud. The staff are plentiful and I have never had a problem with any of them. I'm a big fan of the Western Burger, but their fries aren't the best I've ever had. They make good milkshakes, but I rarely get them. It is a bit difficult to get in and out of this place if there is a lot of traffic on the road. It is sort of in a terrible location. I would probably go here more if it wasn't so difficult to get back out on the road. This is NOT a 24-hour location. I'm unsure of the hours, but I have went here around midnight in the past and it was closed.

We stopped in on a Friday evening and it was packed. We chose this place because it was located just off of the interstate and because we wanted something fast. We stood to be seated several minutes, until finally we sat at the bar area. Not a real bar, but 50s diner, milkshake place kind of bar. As we sat, up close to the action, we heard more than we wanted to. One lady admitted to a customer, as he had stepped up to the register, that she shorted him $3. It was strange, but I guess she wanted a tip badly. Then the same lady was conversating with another about taking a smoke break and how often, it was so annoying and disruptive. I ordered the turkey club sandwich, and although the price was fairly cheap, the sandwich was small, even with the added fries. I do love the shoe string French fries. I tried some of my husband's milkshake and it was great as well. The the service and club sandwich could use some attention. But overall, it served it's purpose... fast and conveniently located.

Yelp says this location is open 24 hours. It's closed at 12:50. There are several people inside working. Upon further review, sign on door says they close at 11pm. Someone needs to update info. Very inconvenient trip.
