The location and service were okay.... nothing to write home about. But the food, lasagna was outstanding! I would definitely skip the calamari, I forgot that I was in Kentucky and it probably not the best location to get calamari. ..

Im thinking they have changed in the last year big time! First off, they have good size menu. The staff is very friendly, and at 12:30pm it was very busy. So the locals were here, not the one star atomosphere. You get "bread sticks" (pizza dough cut into strips) with marianara sauce. The sauce is sweet but very good with garlic, olive oil, parsley on sticks. The menu at lunch runs from $5.50 burger to $7.75 gyro meat platter. I was looking at canneloni and baked spaghetti (which there are three different kinds!!). The stromboli's were actually recommended as they were supposed to be very light flaky crust and oozy cheese. I could not get past canneloni and the idea ground chuck and cheddar mixed in with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. What kind of sick people are these?? I do live in land of Italian restraurants, so I should have seen this before. But my risk in cheese was well rewarded. The meat sauce was excellent, and sauce is key to Italian food. The cheeses were a touch of cheddar that was

I cannot believe I did not look at reviews before going here. Absolutely Sick. One of the worst meals I have ever had. I felt as if I was in a nursing home. I do not suggest you order anything ever off of this menu. You should seriously avoid this place. Bland, cheap canned tomato sauce, freezer burned fries, stale bread, and brown and white pieces of lettuce which should normally be green. Just AVOID.

There have been a few significant updates since I was last here. Service has improved to the point I have no complaints. My food arrived freshly prepared and properly seasoned. Give it another chance.

Competent food, friendly staff. I tried the lemon chicken / broccoli special and was pleased. Wife enjoyed the meat ravioli. Cesar salad was a better choice than the house salads. One of our party had the chicken strip gyro and was complimentary about the chicken and the preparation. When back in London this we'll make a return visit.

I was in town visiting from Texas and my sister, niece, and myself decided to eat here. We were miserable. The food was barely mediocre. We purchased 2 of the sampler Italian meals that offer 3 separate dishes and we didn't like the majority of it. We had cannelloni, lasagna, fettucini alfredo (Mama's Trio $13.99) The alfredo tasted like nothing. It was bland and boring and had absolutely zero flavor. The cannelloni wasn't that good either. The lasagna was the best thing on the plate, and it could have been made at home. No restaurant quality at all. We also ordered the Italian Combo ($13.99) and it came with chicken parmesan, spaghetti, and manicotti. The manicotti was pretty good. But the chicken parm tasted like leather and the spaghetti was straight from a can-the sauce I mean. We also ordered manicotti for my niece and even she wasn't a fan. The breadsticks also had zero flavor-it was like eating cardboard honestly. We did not enjoy our meal and will not go back. The service was lackluster, and that's me being nice. Our server had the personality of paint drying on a wall. I'm not sure how this place is even in business because food & service leaves a lot to be desired. I would skip this place and go elsewhere.

Great food. Ordered the Philly steak hoagie and it was great. Our waitress was very nice and made us feel at home. Will be back on a future trip. Thanks Dino's !

The service was fast & friendly. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated, & the food was good. It wasn't "amazing", but it was better than I honestly expected. The bread sticks were hot & tasty, & the Italian Nachos appetizer was an interesting twist on an old favorite. The portions are huge. We (wife & I) could have made a meal on that alone. The desserts were also really good & fresh

I usually get the calzone when it is on the menu, and this time was no exception. It was cheesy, meaty, and equipped with just the right amount of bread. I had a blast with the staff. They were nice, hardworking, and very responsible with the food. I would definitely recommend to any of my friends!

Dino's had a real Italian feeling to its atmosphere, it almost crossed me as authentic. I got the chicken and spinach calzone, and out was absolutely delicious. I suggest eating here if your passing along on the high way.

If you want fake italian just go to fazolis instead. The cuisine is equivilent to fast food and is priced nearly double. Also, everything is smotherred in so much cheese you won't know if its what you orderred until you're almost finished.

Ginormous portions. Taste of Italy was too much to finish...comfortably anyway! Priced right, this restaurant fits the bill if you are seeking a great calorie to dollar ratio. Quality of food was marginal.

Service was good but food was nothing special. Bland, no flavor, ordinary. Prices were average and not high like others have mentioned but fazoli's right up the street has more flavor and half the price.

We haven't received our food yet and our waitress asked us if she could go ahead and fix our to go drinks. Maybe she'll get those right. Our first round of water she messed up on. Yes, she couldn't get water correct. On a side note, the table and benches were nasty with large pieces of food. This place is a real gem.

Great place to stop off at on a long trip. My pop and I drive from SC to Chicago several times and year. We always looks forward to stopping (on the trip up and back down) at Dino's for great food, service, and drinks. Always a satisfying visit.

Good food and very affordable. Free breadsticks if you done in. My only complaint is that the marinara sauce is a little weak. Had a delicious spinach and chicken calzone, which was the perfect size for 2 people. It was under 10 bucks for the 2 of us to get full! Definitely be back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
